Well, its been a while for an FGFGF update, but hopefully you can let me off on that, as the first months of 2021 have certainly been busy to say the least 😄 The Big Xmas FGFGF Giveaway was a huge thing for me to try and organise and complete but I was determined to do something extraordinary because of the hard times we've all had through this global lockdown. FGers received playstation, xbox and steam vouchers, brand new games (quite a few that were AAA) to play with other FGers, quality merchandise through special edition statues and FG personalised stuff thrown in to make it all up. All FGers ( except @Dan94 because of Merch supplier issues 😤) have their gifts and I really hope they've been well received and you're getting a lot of smiles out of them already. Even though that was quite a significant mini project to do, especially alongside the FG Awards (how can we all forget!), I still managed to get a few more Feel Good Fund surprises out there in the wild over that period and into early 2021. Clive @Teenwolf25 and Justin @FallenDark200 helped us massively get through the difficult times on Destiny in the last few years and helped many FGers get their first raids done and some seriously hard activites completed. Games like Destiny require people to keep the social side of things going whilst we wait for better days and i'm glad its still a game that is a core game here. A Feel Good surprise in the way of FG personalised Hoodies went their way as a thanks to them. James @Lurch has been a newer FGer to the fold at the back end of last year, getting involved every week on FIFA nights and embracing what FG is about finding the time to get into the other games we all play on an FG Friday. With some harder times that he's had to overcome, a Feel Good opportunity was open for the taking which we gladly took with both hands, so he now is a lovely owner of a 2TB Hard Drive for all the extra games he has to play with FGers. Tom @LordBaguette has made a real effort to bring a buzz around the place with his Marvel comic/movie knowledge, his support with setting up previous poker nights as well as having other challenges to deal with, so sending him a handmade version Iron Man Arc Reactor (picture below) to brighten his days with an FG smile. We were also able to honour our promise last year of getting Cyberpunk 2077 for Sam @Capn_Underpants and we hope everything at home is getting better with her Mum and family ❤️ Finally, @JBR-Kiwi was struggling for a while in GT Sport when shifting his gears would completely take him out of the race, and whilst that wasn't much of a bad thing 🤣 , we're not that bad so he now owns a lovely PS4 controller so he can beat us again and again 😁. It should be also noted Kiwi immediately sent a donation to FG related to this, once again showing justification as to why he was much deserving of a Feel Good present. Outside and on top of all the of FGFGF gifts, we also shouldn't forget we've created and maintained 3 PC FG Dedicated Servers; 7 Days to Die, Minecraft and Valheim. Whilst we are putting 7 Days on hold, this is something we'd love to see more of if we physically can make it happen but would require relevant support, via activity and ad-hoc donations to keep them going. And lastly on the topic of donations, I've started to see a few coming over recent weeks without saying anything and its HUGELY appreciated. ❤️ We all hopefully know by now we can't do all of this, on top of making everything run as normal without regular donations from you all. If we can get a few more over coming weeks then my hope is to look at the FGFGF in April and get even more Feel Good surprises out where possible, so if you can donate it is a huge benefit to everyone here at FG. Wow!!! This is awesome! I've only been a member of the group for a few weeks now but i've been really enjoying it. Everyone one in the fifa group has been really welcoming and i'm loving the banter with the guys, although i'm surprised i wasn't booted after giving away 3 pens in one night 😂. Everyone is so supportive of one another too which is really cool. Didn't know you could donate either, deffo have to find that page. This group is awesome and i'm really happy to be a part of it. GGFG peeps

Whilst I made it work by running long on super softs until lap 9 at Autopolis before switching to hards plus a quick splash of fuel, it did require me to pretty much run quali pace almost all the way through in order to build a 22sec lead over @Greboth in those laps, and I think when I left the pit I only had a 0.4 sec lead over him so the hard strategy was definitely the better one to use. I think potentially in the Gr4 class, hard tyres are not as much a penalty as in Gr3 so maybe like @GazzaGarratt says, maybe we make the lower class have a mandatory pit stop coupled with higher fuel usage/tyre wear?

Also, quick note that now @Diddums is 11th, not last and higher than people that haven't turned up yet. I think its time we saw some of your lovely faces for a race @G_dub52 @jordie1892 @Macca89 @tronic44 @Spacedeck @Stretch616 @TonyAE86 @Findmartin @Misneach_ Even if you finish and don't CBA and quit, you'll get points!

Gutted you had problems @phil bottle. I felt better this week, or at least a little bit closer to sort of okay driving so it would've been good to race you. A bit disappointed on the strategy if i'm honest as one mistake made me think i should try something different, fully thinking everyone would pit. However Hard tyres just seem to be too durable on most tracks which allow for no stop strategies usually beating the stop strategies. Any thoughts on this as I love how strategy can change a race but now i'm thinking just to never pit in the race with hards. Mandatory pit stop perhaps? or at least make fuel saving more of a burden? On the points perspective, i'd need to break the top 2 to try and catch up on @Mikepjbell and Phil. I really wish my race pace wasn't way off to what I am on a controller. Keep plugging away though, must persist with the learning!

Early Access - one of the upsides of being over 60!! 🤣🤣

This Tuesday its Fuji (alternative track) at Gr.2. A quick bit of testing and it's around 1:28 seconds a lap. Will probably do a 15 lap race and set tyres so that SS last 6 laps and fuel 10 laps. But open to requests🙂

This was a very confusing notification to hit my phone when I first woke up this morning...

Whether by design or accident, I think the strategies were pretty balanced. I only made a couple small mistakes of missing a couple of apex’s so nothing major and we were about even. Though happy to go either way. The easiest would be fuel as if you have to make a stop for fue why wouldn’t you also change tyres.

It looks like that because I missed a race. Remember its 9 best results from 12 races so Micky boy better not be getting too comfortable😁 Its a shame as I felt very fast at Autopolis 😢

Sounds like a good idea for Warzone definitely. If it's a major problem just get rid of it. In multiplayer it's a bit of a crutch for me for sure.

I haven't run much for quite some time so went out after work with my wife and father inlaw and after 1km I decided to run a different route just so I can open up on my pace a little(you can see that on my pace sections on strava)but the temperature when I set of was 20 degrees which was a little harsh on dehydration but slowed down for 2km then picked up the pace a little for the last 2km. For those of you who loved Syphon Filter from back in the day, I suggest picking up Days Gone. You know what, just pick up Days Gone in general if you like RPGs/single player games. It was oddly very satisfying for me. One of the few games that actually made me feel vulnerable in the terribleness of that world. Story is... eh... But I really really enjoyed it. Especially taking out Hordes.

Not a bad pace there. As i've just started getting back in to running after a 2 month break need to get my pace bad to normal depending on which distance i run but what is helping is the warm up as i call it when i take my wife out for a short run.

I decided to go for a run and while I did the run, it wasn't the greatest. I had walking breaks where previously I could just run through, so going to try go out a couple of times a week from now and try and get myself to the state I was when I was able to run consistently. Before today, I don't think I'd been out running since October.
