Hi everyone, Welchy here, I’m new to the site, stumbled across when looking for gaming communities where I can talk about video games! I tend to play a lot of single player games as I don’t have too many friends who are also into video games. The struggle is I am very passionate about games and love to talk about them, hence why I am here! Look forward to chatting to you all πŸ™‚

  4. Personally, I’ve been really disappointed with the PS Plus offerings for a while now. It feels like ever since they raised the price to β€˜enable us to continue bringing high quality games’, the quality has actually dropped.

Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone really appreciate it! I found the site through an old fashioned google search! Can’t remember exactly what I searched but something along the lines of β€œvideo game communities”.

  9. Powerwash is a decent nice little distraction if you can't figure out what to play. @Rumelyladytore through it all and the DLC and loved every minute of it. If only I could get her to do the same to the fucking car. πŸ€ͺ🀘🏻

  17. I completely agree that the Essential tier I view as a bonus, but those fools of us (me) paying for Extra are not value for money in my opinion. Hasn’t always been this way, but recently it has really dropped.

  18. Funnily enough its probably the best one out of that bunch...I know @Rumelylady is obsessed with it on PC! Its always been pretty middle of the road stuff. I look it as a bonus if I'm honest as every so often we seem to get an absolute gem that saves loads of us here abit of cash. Rocket League back in the day being free being one that springs to mind but also CoD MW Remastered just to allow us to play Private Games for so many years on PS4 was superb.

Day-to-day is reviewing submissions that come in from our brokers, determine the terms we would need to insure the risk, taking into consideration factors such as Natural Catastrophe risk, claims experience, etc. It’s not as boring as it sounds πŸ˜„

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I play a pretty wide variety, my favourite game of all time is God of War / God of War Ragnarok, but then I’ve also played and enjoyed games like Sea of Stars and Cocoon this year! Multiplayer wise not as much as I would like but I dabble on Halo Infinite, FIFA (or EA Sports FC now), Fortnite etc I have PS5, Xbox Series X and a Nintendo Switch. PS5 is my console of choice but Xbox Game Pass sees me spending a lot of time on the Xbox!

  25. So Blizzard dropped this cinematic a couple of weeks ago and i've watched it so many times. It's beautiful. You don't even need to know the story or the characters to feel the emotions. I think this might be my return to retail WoW because it just seems like they're trying to tell stories again rather than just 'look at this cool shit'. I'm pretty done with classic to be honest because playing the same game from back in 2009 just doesn't feel like a good use of my finite gaming time. Give this a watch and let me know what you think World of Warcraft The War Within

I’m quite enjoying it ! Love the breacher drone. Love the sneaky sneakers. Love the people who don’t use the sneaky sneakers the clod hopping numpties one thing I have noticed, it’s very much a long range CoD. Marksman, sniper, battle have all worked good for me, but haven’t enjoyed the assault I’ve used and haven’t touched SMGs. I think the ttk increase has played to the hard hitting weapons more. Have actually done the campaign then went back for trophies. Would like to do some team zombies when I’m through the levels.

  29. Oh @Luseth you are too kind! Wiping out parties is never part of the fun and it was your first times so it's hard to navigate the options you have in front of you. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and watching you all slowly fall into your characters was great to see. You should all be very proud of yourselves. @Greboth @TheMuggySpud @Lurchzy

  35. Good idea re the squad numbers. It used to do my OCD in seeing both Matt and Lee wearing number 9! Pretty sure Jordie Stretch and George used to have number 8 too! Not too fussed about mine. I had 13 for a bit so I will probably keep that if no one else is desperate for it. Positions. I tend to be either LW, CM or LB. But I do like having the odd go up front or CAM. As Lee said I think its better when we all swap about after a few games.

Im actually also enjoying it, the game definitely changes when you get the covert sneakers and as such for me at least it's a crutch perk, I absolutely hate the sound of my own bloody feet. It's nice to also have a fast paced game I can run around on, map dependent, after last year's campy slow as shit game. I'm actually looking forward to them adding the few decent maps from mw2.

    State of Destiny 2

Occasionally they got PvP right and then they fucked it up by moving away from it. There was a couple of seasons of iron banner where the gear was locked behind gain coins from playing and bounties, and it made it a bit of a challenge to grind out for the 'best' efffectively curated gear. They then moved to engrams so you could drown in loads of shit roles! Also Trials had a heyday for the more casual PvP player - when it was based in the Reef, and again bounty completion could get you gear, it was worth taking the losses to an extent. In fact now its back down in the Hanger it still has some of that but I think the RNG of engrams is always a bit of a joy killer. I always sort of thought PvP always sort of lacked a purpose in the lore - it was a training ground apparently, except no matter how crap you were you could drop good gear via RNG and could do any of the PvE stuff. As a training ground it had zero purpose. We all grind the fuck out of CoD for zero purpose, but somehow grinding PvP for zero purpose never appealed too much to me. Best times in normal PvP were probably the exotic bounties that forced you to do PvP in D1 - gave it a purpose (an hunter who got thorn at last will remember the feeling of relief after completing the void kills at a time when the only void option for hunters was a Heavy or one raid weapon! D1 and D2 were fantastic at times but as has been said before the cookie cutter Seasonal content just became meh ! Too grindy even for me, and thats what eventually made me drop away, and honestly cant even face thinking about going back! But when it was good it was great - the FG Raid teams in particular. So many great memories, and laughs. The hours of banging heads against brick walls for that one final run when everyone at last got it right. One of the great things was they way you didnt actually have to be great at the game to finish the raids, learning a role and having a supportive team meant you'd get the completion eventually, not everyone had to be a superstar, was incredibly accessible. Good times gang!

So no more new content everybody then? Shame really, I absolutely fucking loved taking my PS4 to work on night shifts and gaming with everyone from all over the world for a full 10 hours solid. Like most here, some of my fondest gaming memories were in this game and funnily enough on Monday was wondering if it'd be worth installing it to see if I could resuscitate that old flame but reading this has put that idea to bed. Ah well, 11 more camos to go.

  48. Thought the attitude of the players and fans after the game have actually been pretty good. The team even got a standing ovation at the end of the game. I think there's a true belief in Big Ange. Although I am a bit concerned about VDV pulling his hamstring β€” I wonder if Dier will be trusted as his backup or if they'll use someone like Hojberg? Spurs already look to be eyeing up a few backup CBs for the upcoming transfer window.
