  1. The main issue is pricing. With physical copies there was competition between them and digital games. Now if it's all digital then publishers can price games however they want and there's nothing the consumer can do about it.
  2. https://kotaku.com/sony-ending-discs-for-all-playstation-games-starting-2028-2000711927 They've decided to stop producing physical discs for games starting in 2028. Because fuck your customers, right? This means that they will kill of 2nd hand game sales and lending games to your friends or family. Which means themselves and publishers will get a shitload more money. Microsoft could well follow suit with their next console. If they're smart then they should keep the disc drive and it'll pull some customer away from Sony. Also, if the rumours are true that the next Xbox will basically be a PC with access to game stores like Steam or Epic, then that will be the console to get. At least that way you'll be able to get games at decent prices.
  3. Take Two are charging £80 for this game AND if you buy a physical copy then it doesn't even contain a disc, just a download code. Proving what complete and utter greedy cunts they are. I wasn't even that bothered about this game anyway but they've made my mind up for me. I only ever rent single player games or get them on disc so I can sell them when I'm done. If I can't do that then I'm just not buying the game. I'm not paying £80 for a game that I'm then stuck with when I finish it.
  4. I'll definitely be getting this. The Witcher 3 is excellent and the Blood & Wine DLC was great fun.
  5. The Ninja perk is in the game so it's already better than MW2 🤣
  6. Microsoft Cuts Price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate WWW.IGN.COM Microsoft has dropped the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from $29.99 per month to $22.99 per month, while PC Game Pass is being reduced from $16.49 per month to $13.99 per month. Both changes... They added COD to Game Pass with BO6 but then had to increase the price to cover lost sales. Seems that they then lost subscribers due to the ridiculous price increase. So now they're lowering the cost and removing COD. What a complete fuck up by everybody involved 🤣
  7. This game is mid to good reviews. I watched a review that said it's a good game but, at the moment, it has some game breaking bugs so it's best to wait until it's had a few patches before buying it.
  8. This is either going to be amazing or it's going to be utterly shite 🤣
  9. I watched the new series and after about 20 minutes I didn't even care that Cavill wasn't playing Geralt any more. I thought that Liam Hmesworth did a great job.
  10. I have just finished this and it's a huge let down. It's probably a worse game than Dying Light 2. After seeing the reviews praising the game and then actually playing it, I have even deeper trust issues with game reviewer. I think my main issue is that it's blatantly obvious that it was supposed to be DLC for Dying Light 2. How none of the reviews mentioned this is an absolute piss take.
  11. After saying that I thought we'd go straight back down based on our form, we've managed to turn it around. All down to Farke changing to a formation that suits us better. We've only lost one of our last 5 games and we massively outplayed Chelsea and have just battered Palace. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is turning out to be the signing of the summer for us. If we can keep the majority of our players fit then I now think we'll stay up and we may actually finish mid table.
  12. I'm just about to enter Prestige 2 and I'm still really enjoying this game. It's easily the most I've enjoyed COD for a long time. The open matchmaking is definitely the reason why.
  13. 100% agreed. Add to that the fact that newly promoted teams can only spend a limited amount due to PSR whereas the bigger teams can just go and spend £600m plus. Declan Rice going to Arsenal cost nearly as much as our entire summer spendings. Newly promoted teams just can't compete. Seems that Sunderland may be the exception to the rule. Fair play to them if they do stay up.
  14. I think that Leeds will be going straight back down. The recruitment team utterly failed in the summer and just didn't get in the players we needed. We've been crying out for a decent striker for years but we never get one. Farke is out of his depth in the PL as well. I was all for giving him a chance after he got us promoted but I think that he needs to go. He's incapable of changing things up when he needs to and always picks basically the same team. Add to that the fact that he won't make changes at half time when it's blatantly obvious that we need to make changes. I guess the only issue is who would we get to replace him? 🤔
