I really liked the look of this one, love an action horror/supernatural game and this definitely looked like something I could get into.
 
I havent played the first one yet, but this looked really good too. Defimitely have to play the first one since it's free at the moment 🙂

So I have just watched the state of play from last night, there are a few games that have jumped out for me as something I'd like to try (bare in mind some of these aren''t PS5 exclusive) -
 
1. Hell is us - This is a 3rd party action game, looks quite dark & gritty akin to Hellblade maybe. Could be interesting -
 
2.Archeage Chronicles - Biggish game that again could be interesting, looks quite pretty and may even have mp elements as you seem to be fighting alongside others -
 
 
3. Palworld has come out on the PS5, I do have this on game pass and have meant to play it through, imagine it could be more fun with people though I imagine it's not a game FG would be particularly interested in?
 
4. Lunar collection hsa been remastered which if you are a JRPG fan like me may interest you. Admittedly I was caught up with Final Fantasy in my younger years so I will have to give it a go at some point.
 
5. Fantasian Neo Dimension - I haven't gotten round to trying Fantasian as it was locked to apple arcade but I always thought it was worth checking out so this could be on my radar, again another JRPG -
 
 
6. Dragon Age Veil Guard - I have been a big fan of this series even platinuming the last game. I love the world and lore so I will be all over this on launch (first time I have booked a day off for a game release in a very long time!)
 
 
 
7. Ghost of Yotei - Ghost of Tsushima sequal, this doesn't look too dissimilar to the original game to be honest visually so it will be interesting to see if there are any new mechanics in there -

Seen former chess grand master Gary Kasparov in the local cafe. Asked him to pass the salt. Took him 26 minutes!

Ive always loved the Gears games and they were the main reasons i got an Xbox each time they released on the new generations of consoles. This was a great trailer and I am so happy it's going back to Marcus and Dom (although it would be good to eventually get a Gears 6 to finish off the new story)! Just means i'm going to have to get an xbox again when this finally releases 🤦‍♂️😂 Can't wait!!!!

In 2021 I didn't jog. In 2022 I didn't jog. In 2023 I didn't jog. In 2024 I still haven't jogged.

If you do so, let me know and as I imagine this will be co-op I would be up for playing it through with you. I have really enjoyed the games over the year and I think this could be a great place to go from a story point of view. I think the only thing I didn't get in recent games was the 3 person co-op with one of you playing the pointless robot....

Last year I replayed the first two games which was nice. I played 3 back in the day but don't remember much about it but 4 was disappointing. I did enjoy 5 but I'm not sure the open world benefitted it all that much when compared to more linear-based missions. This will be interesting especially as a prequel which is definitely a good narrative choice as I don't think they could've done another one as a continuation.

I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS REAL!! 
 
As a huge Gears fan, this is a dream game for me!! Don’t get me wrong, I was hoping and expecting Gears 6, and I still want that game eventually, but I am so hyped for this prequel! 
 
I have a lot of questions such as what and who are they going to use as the ‘main boss’, it obviously can’t be RAAM. Also, the first Gears game starts with Marcus in prison, so will this game end with that happening? It’s 14 years before the original game so I assume not, and assume it will focus on the first few days after E-Day?  
 
Either way, from the trailer it looks like they may be going back to the series roots and I really hope they are. Hearing the Mad world tones in the trailer gave me serious goosebumps! 
 
Couldn’t be more hyped for this game!!!

Now that the draft is in the books we can start looking forward to the next NFL season and another year of FG NFL Fantasy Football !!! Can anyone topple 2 time champion @jordie1892, or will he make it back to back to back titles? There have been some big quarterback moves in the last couple of months that could make for an interesting season.
