This game does make me question whether to invest in a PC in the future. Looks incredible.

Tried it for the first time without reading/seeing anything (so did @Stretch616 and @crispymorgan) We did the first boss which was two parts. Both had good mechanics and I think it was a challenge whilst being LL 361. Co-ordination is pretty cool too and as most have said, losing a few players in a moment doesn't mean you have to wipe. We then went to find some chests which was the usual fun of jumping around random places. Got stuck on next boss (Siege Engine) which didn't bother me. Thanks @Diddums, @Bluebear, @crispymorgan, @Stretch616 and @Venom. Along the way you had Didds and Charlie acting like 13 year olds. I swear they could pass as the trololol brothers trading funny insults (thanks for the standing on the electric fence one). Half the time magpie Nick stopping to google the where the tv screens, even though we were never gonna finish it, love the positivity though. Highlight of the night was the fact I nearly died laughing (yes, genuinely nearly died) when Crispy reacted to why he couldn't help fight ads because he was 'exhausted'. Honestly, how this nearly killed me I'll never know but it topped the night off, with a pain in my chest and tears streaming everywhere. Oh, and working out if you would finish a stage before Stretch needed his sick/poo bucket. This is why I love FG.

If it was a remaster with additional features then maybe it would last more than 2/3 months but I agree with you @BO7H B4RRELS - people will play a little for nostalgia but you guys have been there and done that. I totally believe this is a classic case of A/B testing - one game is new style mechanics, one old style. The one that gets played the most helps guide the next development on the next CoD.

No dude, I didn't because at the time you had to buy a certain pack to play it. Let me know if it's any good as I tried Smite that was supposed to be similar and just couldn't get attached to it.

Hi and welcome back I'm Lee and relatively new compared to the others (even though its been 2+ years) so it's up to the wiley old regulars to cast their view so it's nice to see what I read so far in this thread. As Chris said, what are you playing at the moment? Have any plans to buy anything games coming out recently?

So.......we want to try and get the odd for more games in for this? What do people prefer - you randomly hook up for 5 mins with each other when we're on or do you want me to set up a rocket league night for an hour or two? Happy to do whatever, missing the banter from these games!

Overwatch's second major event - Halloween Terror - has now debuted and brings with it new Halloween-themed loot boxes. You can view the trailer for the event below It involves a 4-player co-op mode which is prett cool. You can only be 4 characters (Hanzo, McCree, Soldier and Ana) however the concept means I think the game could evolve to much more than just a PvP casual and ranked mode. Its worth a go whilst it's out for a month and try to pick up a few halloween loot boxes.

Bf1, Fifa 17 and probably CoD for shits and giggles. I never truly played a Battlefield game properly so I'm looking forward to trying to play it thoroughly this time round.

That will be hard to beat for a while tbh Sam. The value for money on W3 is just crazy. I just think we maybe are in a lull for top 8/10 or above AAA games and will be until Q1 2017. They're all good in their own right but not a lot stand and say 'buy me'. Pro of that of course means there is quite a few games we all can play which is kinda cool.

The record was broken 4 days ago until this guy has just broke it by 0.3 seconds. People had always said that sub 4.57 was impossible - not anymore. This video is crazy, especially cool as well considering he records his heart rate at the same time (you can see it rising with the tension). These things always impress me on the older games. Fantastic effort.

I haven't tried the new raid yet but really keen on hearing your views about how it is, which sections are cool, bad, challenging and if anyone has tips for each section it would be good to share them out with everybody.

Surprised we haven't talked about this a little more. The story looks a pretty decent one and they haven't held back in terms of including racist elements to help support the story to ensure the player gets the most of the experience (developers have said it was crucial). The biggest talk for pc players so far is that it's running on 30FPS not 60. The graphics look okay and it wasn't ever going to beat GTA in comparison but it could be worth a dip in the pocket. Review below - I didn't take much notice of the reviewer, just wanted to see some gameplay.

Anyone pre-ordered this and trying it out? The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta features three maps and four modes, Infinity Ward has confirmed over at the Activision blog. The beta gives players a chance to use the new Combat Rigs system. These are suits chosen by players that provide tactical options. You can swap mid-match to help take a different approach. The beta includes three of the six different Combat Rigs that will be in the game when it launches on 4th November. They are Warfighter (mid-range assault), Merc (heavy defense and suppressive fire), and Synaptic (a droid optimised for speed and close quarters combat). The beta also includes two of the four Mission Teams. By completing missions while in a team, you earn a team rank. Mission Teams are supposed to add a metagame to the multiplayer. Now the maps. The beta includes three: Frontier (circular, two-lane, fast-paced), Frost (linear, three-lane, medium-paced) and Throwback (bent, three-lane, medium-paced). The beta will rotate modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed, as well as feature the new Defender mode. Here, your team must grab a drone and defend it.

Welcome back Kent! Great to see old faces come back, I'm from the 'new' era I suppose but been here for a couple of years and it's been great fun and alot of good banter. So what you playing of late? This looks like a really cool move. It'sbecoming an emerging market to stream lots more games and tournaments so this is a really good way to help groups and communities grow whilst sharing what they enjoy doing. It could make me think about buying prime because I want some amazon perks but didn't think it was worth the price. May be different now.

Haven't had chance to be on here actively for a week because it's a little crazy at work and home life. I'll look to clean up some threads if people still want me to? Would also be good to know anything people want changing or think would be cool to add if I can find it. Let me know y'all!
