  1. 2017 is already a better year for games than 2016. I'm sure most would agree, there's not enough time to play them all! Via the FG App
  2. Did not realise at all. Well, if that's the case, I do see the point now. It won't stop them, nor will it stop others doing it if this is the first. They need to follow Battlefield 1 footsteps with CoD nostalgia as BF1 is a great game but doesn't have the massive replayability factor for me.
  3. Edited question for you Steve. Thanks for letting me know.
  4. It is Pat, sorry should've been clearer.
  5. If you'd all be so kind to answer the poll I've created it would give me some understanding on what to focus on if we make any changes going forward. Obviously any comments about it, just let me know, as always. Lee
  6. Okay, so I'm not a fanboy, not will I ever be for Zelda. I didn't grow up with it, so I won't have the pull towards it like most critics write about this. Well, that doesn't mean anything when it comes to this quite exquisite open world package that will ensure the Switch is absolutely a star buy. It is quite perfectly made for the controls of the switch, that ensures you use all buttons and triggers, yet in a majestic not complicated way. The open world is the definition of open world. There are fruitful items to find in the most random of places. Even just in the middle of nowhere, like someone as elegantly dropped a fiver in the street. The menus and use of the map via a sheika slate you get at the start is like the best map interface I've seen. There's even a way to set your own waypoints. Up to 100 just in case you want to remember specific points in the game. Extrememly well designed. The combat is crafted in the right way for this type of game too. One of the best moments I've had so far is the when you take on a skeleton goblin. You hit him once and he breaks up. Pretty obvious. But to then be able to pick up his head whilst chattering and throw it back at its body that is trying to pull back together is genius. A quite superb game. And I've only played about 6/7 hours. 7. Went to just play a couple of games of OW and started of yo-yoing for the first two. Didn't expect to then have a win streak ended up with c.170 points gained and now I'm platinum 2505. One game everyone was getting so frustrated at Bastion ruining the game....and then I managed to get a Quintuplet kill with D.Va and swing the game in 10 seconds. Will put the video on later. Gg FG
  8. The 'Show Me How' link doesn't work for me @Diddums. Got another one?
  9. Seagate 4TB HDD does work (no intergrated USB you'll be glad to hear). Already reinstalled 7 games and moved all current games installed to HDD so leaves the inbuilt one for capture content and saved data. I've not seen any issue with load times either which is great to see.
  10. Downloaded but haven't played it yet. Is the pay to win a massive downpoint or not?

  12. I'll read it later, it better be good
  13. You have to get this @tronic44 just for this...even @burnfitbillyboy would agree.
  14. I can't find anything on it, however it is highly unlikely. The Switch from fall will be a paid subscription to play online whereas the 3DS and Wii U won't be. Based on sales though they'll probably be a much larger player base playing the game on Switch rather than the Wii U. Absolutely! Although, we should play all the versions to see who will be the overall Mario Kart Champion 😃
  15. It's obtained from a number of Traders around the world of Horizon. There is one from the merchant just outside Meridian, by the big bridge leading into the city. If anyone has got theirs from somewhere please add it in here. How much does the Golden Fast Travel Pack cost? 50 Metal Shards - obtained from all kinds of sources but, most commonly, from slain machines or selling items to merchants. 1 Fox Skin - somewhat harder, although far from impossible, to obtain. This drops randomly from wild Foxes you can hunt anywhere on the map. Forresty areas are generally the best, and we found one after only killing a handful, so it shouldn't take you long. 10 Fatty Meat - this, again, is quite easy to find. It comes from any wild animal you can hunt, so you can normally pick some up from a quick trip into the wild where you can hunt Boar, Turkey, and Fox at your will. Once you have the required items, simply head to a general goods merchant, and it can be found at the bottom of the 'Resources' tab, shaded in purple for Very Rare.
  16. I'm pleased to report DO NOT buy an intergrated USB hub on the HDD. The 8TB HDD I got from my Dad (on sale in Argos right now) isn't supported by the PS4.
  17. What time does Sean Connery get to Wimbledon? Tennish How does a train eat? It goes chew chew
  18. Yeah, but they're well boring innit? [emoji6]
  19. Long story short Phil, who would play with you on PC?
  20. It's the only time I'll allow Mario ahead of Sonic's name due to the alphabet. Probably all reverts back to whether you're a Sega or Nintendo fan but thought it would be good to ask the question of FG. Clearly the blue amazeball hedgehog stands on top. Quicker and waaaaaaay more cooler. No one can stomp their red little stiletto shoe on the screen better. And lets face it, Mario just falls down pipes. Discuss.
  21. I need a laugh. Come on, give us your best shit jokes of your life folks. I'll try them on the other half later!
  22. Official launch trailer leaked a bit early
  23. One of the main reasons I picked up a Switch is for this. It will 42 racers and 48 different tracks, which is phenomenal imo. They are bringing back old items such as the ghost that would make you invisible and also allowing racers to hold 2 slots for boxes. Like mentioned previously, its Battle mode which is getting the most overhaul. It will entail the following: Renegade Roundup: Making its debut in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this new mode has one team trying to capture the other and put them into jail before time runs out. The opposing team must try to escape and can break their own teammates out of prison by pressing a button under the jail cell. Balloon Battle: In this oldie but goodie, players earn points by popping balloons on the back of their opponents’ karts. Bob-omb Blast: Originally seen in the Mario Kart: Double Dash game, this mode finds players throwing a barrage of Bob-ombs at opponents. Coin Runners: By racing across the Battle course, players try to collect the most coins as possible in this fast and frenetic mode introduced in Mario Kart Wii. Shine Thief: Steal the coveted Shine Sprite and try to hold onto it for a 20 count in this classic multiplayer Battle mode. April 28th release date.
  24. Is it that embarrassing though? Remastered games are what they are. Everyone knows what they are getting into and the world we live in today as 2 routes; supported DLC that you pay for or supported patch updates with non-pay to win add ons. If you've paid for the remastered one then you already accepted that they would do this. Its whether its value for money is more where I would be coming from e.g. are the maps varied, games are better on those maps because of XYZ, etc. I feel we have to embrace the change in video games as its not going to steer away from this as there isn't enough noise about it. Also the young generation don't know any different to us oldies when we had it so good!
  25. You think they're worried about their servers? Really hope they have another Beta for Europe. Probably the best gap in the market for a racing game.
