Campaign?? Is there another game on the disc? I thought that all CoD's were just multiplayer

I know everyone likes to take the piss out of the game these days but it’s an unfortunate situation it’s ended up in, Destiny has given me a lot of good memories like getting to know the clan members past and present and was a key factor in helping me rise from depression, I’ll always have a soft spot for this game and will see the conclusion to the light and darkness saga but I’m afraid my Destiny days of grinding is over, it could of been so much more and hope it reaches its potential one day.

I am happy with Mafia II, that could well be another platinum trophy for me (I did the remaster of the first game not all that long ago I don't think).

A minority seem to be 'hyped' once again but their judgement seems to be clouded by the fact the game exists rather than how it looks. It is way off how it was originally showcased and doesn't look anywhere near a current gen title - looks like The Division 2015 from Wish. The PR over the years and all the shadiness has completely put me off regardless and I still don't trust anything about the devs or the product. Seems the majority of users are not happy with what they've seen and it's defies belief that this was once the most wish listed Steam product! It's PVPvE online only too and these servers ain't gonna be cheap to maintain so it'll be very interesting to see how this game will survive long-term. After all this time, we still haven't seen true raw gameplay of the final build and the trailer we did see a few months back looked utter wank.

Hold on, I'm paying £60 specifically not to play that fucking lighthouse map, that fucking black gold map and that fucking border crossing map - they better not be bringing them back !

I completed it on PC a few of years ago, was still a great game before the remaster, so I may well join you in that.

I played Calliston Protocol earlier this year and really enjoyed it so would definitely recommend getting that one 🙂

If I wanted to be a farmer I would of made that my career. It's the second farm sim game we've be given as a PS plus so take that out and it's a pretty solid month.

I actually think they should've remained with Activision as they were pretty independent under them and had the luxury of having the extensive running costs paid for. They only survived a year or two before desperately trying to seek a buyer and even then it's felt like it was just for them to be bailed out rather than wanting additional support and direction. Quite sad they've got into this mess on what should be a simple game with a proven foundation and with their experience. Gonna be nigh-impossible to turn it around now.

Been out for a couple of years and popularity kinda fizzled out quite early apparently. Supposed to be a half decent title but it's sorta ended up just a flavour of the month game.

Is Shoot house the new Nuketown? Kind of feels like it. I wish we could get some of the Original MW3 maps back too, like good ones. Not Strike or that other massive downtown one we had in MW2.

I watched a couple of streams last night of the campaign and it did look remarkably underwhelming. There seemed to be some lazy open world missions that looked like they were recycled from the Warzone map and then a few of the main missions looked pretty short and incredibly bland. I did like the look of a couple of snow and mountainous missions but it severely lacks polish by the look of things and some of the writing and animations look amateur at best. I'd say they slapped this campaign together in 3 months. The new Makarov looks seriously weak too. So glad I swerved this in the end because this may go down as the worst effort in the entire franchise history. Not the devs fault - this is on Activision.

Read this about the campaign on another forum. Seems that Sledgehammer have just thrown together some sort of campaign in the short time they had but they haven't had time to do a proper one. A direct result of Activision changing this from a DLC add-on to a full game.

They say it's a dedicated play list. So I thing you can avoid them Also there will be voting. So maybe people will vote against the shit maps, or maybe for just to troll people

I am playing through at the moment, I am not quite so gripped as the previous 2 games, I do think it looks incredible mind and really does look next gen. Combat is still similar with a few new gadgets and such and they have obviously branched out with the skills trees and such. Story seem's good so far, I am only really getting going with it I think so still discovering who the villain is and what they are up to type of thing. I did come across a bug last night which led to me turning the game off, one npc got stuck the wrong side of a wall and I have no idea how but it meant I could not progress the mission, I imagine I'll jump on again last night and go back to the autosave point. As far as the 2 spidermen go, so far I am much more enjoying Miles arc, his abilities are much more fun to play with and I think his story arc is more interesting as so far he has more of a personal stake in it. I imagine I will go for the platinum on this as well but I am flitting between this and Baldurs Gate 3 at the moment, 2 different but rather large games ^_^ So imagine it will take me a while to get the plat.

Ahhh shit, here we go again. had a game earlier and surprisingly loved it, felt really really good. Skidrow looks fantastic and can’t wait to play some more games, I just hope it doesn’t go south like last year 🤣

That's the video I went straight to. I can see what he means about the maps but I disagree but then I'm pretty vocal on the state of modern maps so I'm at least looking forward to those maps and as I've spent so much time on shipment and shoothouse I can't see them getting boring. On the flip side the modern cod community can seriously ruin any experience 😁 One thing tho if this game is solid I can finally delete mw2 22 off my ps5....no doubt will need the space.

The create a class from Charlie Intel looks pretty nice. Seems to eliminate a lot of things people were complaining about. You can equip ghost and dead silence for example. It's based on vests, shoes, headset, gloves which is a bit new but still the same I won't get to it under Monday at best but what I have seen I like so far

Need a Noob Tube and OMA as well for that authentic MW2 Wanker setup.

They look good but as Ace said in his video there is a chance that they will get boring very quickly. They'll be good for new COD players but not for veterans.

Watching gameplay in Favela yesterday brought back some memories. The old maps look amazing I must say.

I enjoyed it when it first came out, visually it looks great for an MMO and it's a little more accessible to new players I think, I'd be happy to jump back in on it tbf. Saints Row and Generation Zero are both multiplayer as well I believe so would be happy to give both of them a go with people too at some point ^_^

The deal has not gone through yet. If it does, it wont be concluded until October at the earliest. Also Sony's agreements are set in stone and have to be honored the same with Deathloop which had a year's exclusivity with Playstation signed just weeks before the deal with Bethesda and Microsoft was finally agreed and before the game released. The exclusivity deal is really nothing significant anyway - it may as well be scrapped altogether it's that pointless.

Simple - $, or probably more accurately, $$$$$$$$$ Sony have previously paid for special access or content to come to PS before Xbox. So it could be that contract, which may have been signed before MS bought Activision, is still in effect. Or potentially MS don't care about PS having content first - the console war really happens in the early years of a generation so by now it's relatively settled not to mention consoles are, or were for a long time, sold at a loss with money being in the games. MS gets the billions a year from the game either way so don't care too much about shifting less consoles.

I won't lie I am pretty stoked about dreams, it's one of those that I have always fancied picking up and it could open up the door for loads more content being added to it

They released another trailer the other day and this has to be the worst yet - I honestly don't know what they were thinking or what the point of this was. All it shows is a city and a stock asset sports car being driven around Need for Speed style in a post apocalyptic city. It's probably ripped scene for scene off some racing game like how they copied the Black Ops Zombies trailer. It has to be a troll because it's beyond dumb how silly this looks

There's taking ideas and references and then there is straight up ripping everything. All the stuff in the trailer(s) can be bought off the shelf from Unreal as it is so from what's been showcased then and up to their 'gameplay extravaganza' is nothing original or of their own creation which is absolutely damning. The good news is that people aren't falling for it like they would've 5+ years ago and be blinded by hype.

Saw this today. I mean, its not the end of the world (no pun intended) that they took ideas from other trailers and games but it just adds another thing that always feels like a downward spiral for this game. There was a lso this as a reminder that it wasn't just the trailer they took some ideas from. I would always some crossover somewhere, thats just life, but very strange to see so many references. Its abit like the Marketing person has a bit of Imposter syndrome so the only thing they can think of is look at other stuff and then copy it identically.
