Yes, its being depressing me for some time, and I can only apologise for the issues we have had for a while.
 
The big news is that I've pressed a button behind the scenes that starts the ball rolling on a big change to the future of moving FG forward. I don't want to jump in on it too much right now as we'll need quite abit of work but I'm prepared to make it happen and hopefully we'll have some more hands on support from other FGers to make it so. This place is here for all and I want it to remain that way forever.

Just saw that it's £790 for a PS5 Pro from Argos. Absolutely disgusting really. I could probably sell my old PS5 standard for more than I paid for it back in 2021. This is also the end of the generation and the prices are still going up. Doesn't make sense. These machines shouldn't cost more than £350 for what's under the hood and how powerful they are. 

The FOMO was annoying and the sunsetting with promises to never bring the weapons back....only to bring them back and we all lost our god rolls. I do miss the gameplay every once in a while, it was great.

I've just decided not to renew my PS subscription as I don't play that much anymore.
 
I've snagged some old "not good enough for Windows 11" PCs from where I work part time and I'm now running a Minecraft server for me and my 6 year old grandson .
It's great but there are times when I feel like changing my name from "Grandad?"  😂😂😂
 
The PC he's using is the one you guys got me in 2019 (that day was epic!) so that's been repurposed as well, just needed a wifi card 😊

Can I just say, Bodø/Glimt smashing Inter Milan 5-2 over 2 legs is one of the wildest scores I have ever seen in football 😂

I don't. I have debated on getting one a few times, but still haven't done it. 
 
Once it warms up, I can start base coating again, last year got away from me, and I barely did any printing, or painting at all. I am really hoping this year is different

Benches done, rooster done, christmas event thingy done, and on the last page of the expedition again. Probs around $2m in coins, and a fucktonne of blueprints spare so if anyone needs any, hit me up. 
 
As part of the expedition I've spent a ton of time on Stella, and thanks to a rat ended up in the murder lobbies again so I embraced it and played very carefully, murdering anyone who so much as looked at me. I think this game has knocked ten years off my life.

Had some good games tonight.  Especially when we just gathered more and more people until we were just a horde shooting everything like it was nothing.  They should crank the difficulty on some enemy that 3 people just can’t kill.  Force coop.  What you do after that however…..

I think our league position doesn't reflect our play. I think you could call it "generous". If we get promoted again, I think we would get wrecked most games and be straight back down again.
My preferred result would be narrowly miss playoffs, strengthen the squad and finish strongly for two more seasons before possible promotion.
Actually I would be happy with top 8 finishes every season playing entertaining football. Premier League is the dream but can be a nightmare as well

Sunderland still ended up spending close to £160m I think. They spent really well but if they were to get relegated, they'd be in a whole world of trouble for years to come and they wont want to go back to League One or end up doing a Reading. Leicester are due to be deducted an estimated 9pts this month for PSR violations too and their situation could turn extremely dire if they have to sell players in January to stop it happening in the summer. There's just not enough windows or time for teams who are going down to adjust their situation - I can understand why teams going up may be scared to spend because it means they don't have to try and balance the books to fit the stupid PSR rules in no time at all. Maybe getting promoted, planning for relegation and then trying to get promoted again isn't such a bad idea especially if you can pocket a huge sum. Spending it seems to have a double-whammy knock-on effect.

100% agreed. Add to that the fact that newly promoted teams can only spend a limited amount due to PSR whereas the bigger teams can just go and spend £600m plus. Declan Rice going to Arsenal cost nearly as much as our entire summer spendings. Newly promoted teams just can't compete. Seems that Sunderland may be the exception to the rule. Fair play to them if they do stay up.
