𝙕𝙮, the enigmatic Tiefling Sorcerer. He stands ominously tall at 7 feet and 2 inches. His skin, a striking bleach white with subtle patterns resembling coiling black dragons, matches the intensity of his deep, starless black eyes. Zy exudes an aura of power and mystery, drawing others in while maintaining an air of distance. Despite his imposing appearance, he struggles to connect emotionally with others due to his commitment to logic above all else. Zy made a life-altering Faustian pact, trading his soul to the Black Dragon Monastery for unparalleled knowledge and magical prowess. Now, driven by the desire to reclaim his soul and prove his worthiness, he treads a fine line between good and evil in pursuit of his ambitions, making him an unpredictabe and sometimes evil friend. https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/104763829/uPjvg44 points

Modern Warfare III

In fairness i'm having so much fun playing MW2 that unless either 1) its a massive update and enhancement to what we have already and/or 2) all FGers move across to the latest one, then I think we'll all continue on MW2 if we keep on having the fun together.3 points -
I will be honest, I have no intention currently of picking this up, I think I am with Biron in that I can't see it being anything other than dlc wrapped up as a new game and if so I really hope the community let's it fall flat on it's face for the scumminess of it.3 points

Meet Greboroth, A ranger and the bastard son of a Noble elf and his human mistress. https://www.dndbeyond.com/sheet-pdfs/Greboroth_105073996.pdf Embarrassed and disowned by my father I hide my elf heritage as I wander from town to town tracking and killing the monsters and evil that walk in the wilds. I prefer to be alone in the wilds but the towns I find along the way do provide a good, warm, and safe nights rest. Not to mention mead! Unfortunately on this night, I found myself drinking in a strange dwarf tavern. I knew I wasn't welcome as the sign hung above the door read 'no pointy ears' but I knew if I kept my ears covered I could pass as human and the Dwarves make the best mead. I drank one cup of mead, then two, three and four...drinking until the dawn. Seeing the sunrise I knew it was time to leave but in getting up to leave in my drunken state, I slipped on the mead all over the table and falling to the floor I revealed my elvish side to the tavern. Instantly I could feel every Dwarves blood boil at an Elf in their tavern so I tried to make a run for it but I couldn't run faster than their axe which hit me in the back. As I lay dying, I heard the Dwarf walk over and mumbled that no-one is welcome in a tavern full of drunken dwarves.2 points

Modern Warfare III
IRaMPaGe reacted to J4MES OX4D for a topic
I don't mind this - give Sledgehammer a crack at Modern Warfare, wind the series up for good and then IW can move onto something else next time with a bit of luck. Hopefully we wont see MW4 and that they keep dragging it out as painful as Black Ops has become. Just hope it isn't glorified DLC disguised as a full priced game - it's risky them doing back to back sequels but Activision have backed themselves into a strategic calamity with this release. Sledgehammer do try their best and are heavily under-resourced compared to the other developers and have a pretty extreme turnover of staff so I don't think they have too much to lose especially being put under so much pressure. Not sure if I'll get this one though - really depends on the other releases this year and whether there's enough in it. Baldur's Gate 3 next week which is massive and then all eyes on Starfield before the Metal Gear Solid Collection. If it's just a watered-down expansion then it will be a real shame and ultimately pave the way for MW4 in 2025.1 point -
Remnant 2
GazzaGarratt reacted to J4MES OX4D for a topic
Looks to be a surprise hit! I didn't get the original as it came out off the back of many 3rd person-type games and it seemed a bit generic despite being mechanically solid. The sequel seems to have some notable improvements across the board and looks quite exceptional really. The part-procedurally generated environments also seem impressive and more fleshed out this time and the gunplay along with movement is probably as good as you could get with a game of this nature. Really considering picking it up and the co-op is supposed to be very good also. This also being a £40 game and not a broken and unfinished £60 is making it even more tempting..1 point -

You can now download ChatGPT on the App Store. I believe it uses GPT 3.5 and not the new GPT 4.0. I personally use AI quite a lot to help write-up on topics as I am quite seriously Dyslexic and really struggle to express myself using text. For me this is really helpful.1 point -
Last movie you watched

Literally just watched Oppenheimer and it was bloody good. Well directed, great story (not overly bogged down with quantum physics language) and brilliant cast with Cillian Murphy knocking it out the park with a lot of good supporting appearances from familiar Christopher Nolan actors (interesting to see how young people will react to RDJ not being Tony Stark in a major movie). Definitely recommend.1 point -
Zero Sievert

This and CyberPunk are my main go to games at the moment. I've done 20 hours on ZeroS now and very happy I picked it up. I've moved onto the hard mode and it's even more brutal, which I like and dislike in equal measure 😁🙃1 point -
