They're subs aren't they though rather than donations? I agree that rich shouldn't get richer..although i'm sure many of these people weren't millionaires before they started streaming...most probably the opposite!

In fairness Kenny @IRaMPaGe is still playing it and putting up a lot of videos in his PPR which tells me its still good in its places. I must admit, I can't even remember why people hated this game so much. I personally stopped as I got tired of just playing normal MP modes. I'd love to get back on a CoD to play some Search and Destroy. Its been ages since we used to have many of us dominating that mode on previous CoDs!

This is a great help to start off with. I need to find a few hours to sit and do the first elements. What would be helpful is at some point someone could explain why certain options are selected. For instance at the start of that first video he starts of going to Terminal and writing stuff in it but no explanation as to why he's doing that. What is Terminal used for? Why does he select those random names to type in in the terminal box? I can copy someone but I won't be able to do my own if i don't understand what its used for if you get what I mean. Looking forward to seeing what you make @Diddums!

You bossed it. Totally deserved for being super consistent. Mike was possibly just getting back into the swing of things, as was Crispy. Greebs ended his winning chances at the end of lap 1 with that sudden stop into the barrier (and penalties 😅). I just chose the opposite strategy to everyone else thinking Hards first would get me through it and i could up catch everyone on Super Softs. Think i left it one lap too late to maybe have a chance at one place higher but it essentially cost me big style finishing 5th. I only made one large mistake which only cost me 4-5 seconds. We go again next week 👊

Oh, I totally get that Rob. But its nostalgia and ease. People are too lazy to either buy their own 3d printer and make it themselves, or buy a cheaper (and probably crappy looking) one on etsy or something like that. Its similar to physical games and special edition ones. You'd get the same game to play if it was just digital but people like fancy additional extras just because it looks nice on a fancy shelf, etc. Although one day, I will get a Raspberry Pi and have all the games from all the consoles stuck in it for an arcade machine. Thats if i ever have space and money for some type of fun gaming cabin!

Its hard as nails mate! For me, its far more technical than Tiger Woods and Links Golf was, especially if you put it on Pro which is what you're supposed to play on if online. Its good to chill out on, maybe worth having a round with everyone...could help me bloody putt better with your tips perhaps! 🤣🤣 -

@Emma McManus The good news is that they're both MSI monitors so you can see the comparison on their website: https://uk.msi.com/Monitors/Products#?tag_multi_select=41529&compare=T3B0aXgtRzI0QzQ=,T3B0aXgtRzI0MVZD First off, the one he sent through is ever so slightly better (Refresh rate is 144Hz on the one you shared, the one Didds shared is 75Hz so not a huge difference really to a 10 year old). Secondly, i've noticed my monitors are ever so slightly different (mine are MAG241CR rather than G241VC) so I can only apologise as they looked identical. Mine is slightly better than the one you've shared but the price goes above 200. Nearer to 250 actually. I know I managed to wait for a sale and get one of mine for £189. The other was £40 more so you can see they fluctuate in price. If you get the one you shared for a decent price then I don't think it matters much between them IMHO 😄 MSI are a great make so you'll be set with whichever ones you get...just be careful if you surf for a better price, check the letters (just like I didn't 🤦♂️) as you can see there's tiny diffferences in letters as well as specifications.

Quite a lot of high profile streamers have been waiting to get into it from launch. The no subscription has me still looking at it, as it would be good to see where it goes not long after launch. Have they confirmed DLCs or additional content post launch at all?

Yep, agree with that. The PlayStation VR isn't made for PC, although you can fiddle with it and get it to work with adapters, etc. It just isn't worth it imo. A further Christmas down the line you can look at PC VR machines. I have 2 of these monitors and they are perfect for what he wants to do. Has the gaming needs such as quick response times and its a relatively cheap monitor compared to others in the market. Desk wise, for me it would be trying to save money on it where possible but also it matters what you want to match in his bedroom. The ones above works but I don't think there's a desk that your son will care too much about. Get one that works for your budget and his room. If you save on stuff like that, you can get little extras then like a desk mat from Amazon that has RGB lights all the way around it. Stuff like that kids LOVE and I have the one below that is only 17 quid. We love the films and one day it would be amazing to read the books, just not sure i'll have the stamina for all of them! Some fascinating detail in them, I hear. Hayley told me about them ahead of the films so it definitely did add extra interest into seeing what the franchise was all about. -
Would absolutely love to mate...even wanted to change it to a mini-FG meet up but unfortunately I can't make it as I wouldn't be finished with Yara's footy until midday and so by mid afternoon most of the day would've been gone 😞 I need to find a way around these Saturday mid-morning kick offs! 🤣 Others should take a look though, would be ace to see a few pics of the event and some of you guys meeting up!

@Emma McManus just gonna wait for one of the experts to arrive to help us understand more. I think the monitor is pretty small if you ask me. 24" minimum as eventually he'll want 2 screens on show. My spider sense is tingling though and thinking you can get a better ready made one from Scan or Overclockers. @Diddums @Greboth @phil bottle @Spacedeck @TurboR56Mini @RenFengge @BO7H B4RRELS if you don't think its a good deal, should we find a few links to some better packages on OCUK or Scan?
