  1. The real difficulty in the market is the desire to meet demand quicker than ever before as the cultural society we live in today just does not want to wait for games or content any longer. This isn't just games btw, its everything. Its why we have Netflix and see series come out as one whole series so people can binge stuff. In some ways we are creating addiction with everything. In games you see this with Destiny for example, as people hate timegating, although it was once acceptable back in the day. People want it all straight away and binge all the content as quickly as they can. The irony of this is then they say "Where's the rest?" which for me is so contradictory. I remember reading some years back that it takes 6-7 years to make a top AAA game. The problem is that its too long to wait for that and a lot hangs in the balance on whether they'll make their money back on it. Remasters and remakes are the way they have gone to fill the void because its updating existing infrastructure without the extra energy and years putting into the design of a game as its already been made. Whilst we shouldn't continue to accept shoddy remakes and poor AAA releases (looking at you Anthem), I think we also need to take a long hard look at ourselves as gamers. We've become abit more dangerous in ourt requests and then very dismissive of games that come out or get updated with battle passes and seasons - in which I think is actually a good balance to the world. If a game has free to play elements and then says 'hey, if you like what you're playing, you can grab the battle pass/season to play more of it if you're having fun' then i think thats a perfect balance. Its not a Paywall. Its our choice. And ultimately the developers of some of these awesome games have to get paid somehow. Problem with all that I write is that i'm asking for the most fickle-ist of groups to open up and be more appreciative of the state of games in some aspects. And a Gamers, like football fans, etc, will largely remain in the instant reactive world. An unrealistic world where no one wins. Hope that was a decent 2p view 😄
  2. If (and appreciate its a big IF atm) the game has the Escape from Tarkov mode AND a mode which is PvEvP like The Hunt has, this game really is hotting up to be truly awesome. Excited muchly.
  3. Tom @LordBaguette , let us know what you think as I know you've picked it up now (appreciate you've already completing the game twice). Also, SkillUp has said whilst its good, not sure if the extra island gives anything new so it could be like Phil said above on the samey samey side.
  4. Yeah, i've seen enough to know i'll enjoy this a lot more than previous Battlefields. For some reason, the modern war seems to be more appealing right now considering we've had so much WW1 and WW2 gameplay across the last few years.
  5. That is devastating and disgusting all in one. I'm not saying I wouldn't get my money's worth if you look at playtime alone for someone like me but I'd prefer not to pay £90 for the game we would all likely buy for far less once we wait for it to go down in price. Its like they don't want you to play with your friends. Incredible.
  6. They have to be careful as they'll divide groups if thats the case. I can still see them offering the upgrade path from PS4 sales as not everyone has had access to a PS5 yet. Sounds as if the FGers here ended up wanting to move to FIFA 22, that means i'd be getting the PS4 version, not the PS5 one. Playing with friends supersedes seeing a slightly shinier model of the same game.
  7. Not yet, but I need to try Pro Clubs as I got that version of the Beta. Still have a 7-10 days left to try it though. Pro Clubs would be a goldmine so unsure why they don't tweak that mode anymore than they currently do. I fear what James said. I worry more about cross-gen as they didn't even let that happen between PS4 and PS5 on FIFA 21. I think its unacceptable to not at lest offer cross gen, especially if you are a huge AAA developer/producer.
  8. Not much more to say other than... (Although, I pretty much know its about ease and £££ signs). Oh, Bethesda.

    F1 2021

Absolutely. Even if people don't like F1, its a fantastic watch regardless. Very well madehow it highlights the entire grid rather than just the winners. This season has been fantastic so far and i'm really looking forward to Belgian GP this weekend. I also heard about Lando potentially on Red Bull's cards to join them. Ngl, I hope not. Christian Horner really annoys me and whilst them being competitive makes it exciting racing, I'm hoping McLaren can really push on and break that barrier so they can make it nice and tight with 3 teams rather than 2 at the top.
  10. Heads up quick intro....and she looks fookin incredible! 😍 4pm UK time Pre-show, 5pm main showcase starts tomorrow!
  11. I watched it late last night and thoroughly enjoyed Boss Level. Wanted it to go on for longer but I suppose that's a sign of a good movie if you don't want it to end! Thanks for the opinion, Gary 👍
  12. Another super season all! I'm kicking myself as if I was just a little more consistent in keeping the car on the track i'd be up there but it means always room for improvement with this game. Also, super to see some new arrivals this season with Nick @Bluebear and @Kurt joining in. We even saw @Diddums and Tom a few times more than expected so nice to have more on the track as it definitely adds to more battles through the course of the season. Well done to all the rest, super fun to look forward to and hopefully we can rope in more for next time as 16 on the track would be insane. Thanks to James @Lurch for doing our livery too and with our points per race and a little more luck, we should be pretty happy considering we had last choice in the manufacture sweepstake 😄 GGs all!
  13. Happy birthday Justin! @FallenDark200 Hope you have a great day buddy! 😎🤘❤️
  14. Don't know why but it has an element of Planetside 2 going on for me. I don't think thats a bad thing either. Looking positive so far.
  15. This one hit me a little more than usual yesterday. He grew on me loads over recent years, specifically because of how good he was on 8 out of 10 cats. To see cancer take another one of our great people is soul destroying. Let's remember him how we all should. I've watched this carrot in a box re-run too many times yesterday. Pure comedy gold. 💛
  16. One week to go. Regardless of whatever comes next, these Showcase events are always a joy to watch, very similar to watching Marvel trailers and deep dives into upcoming titles. And it definitely is worth talking the moment out of your day if you can watch it live for the experience alone.
  17. That would be insanely good. When do we think we'll see more on the gamemodes?
  18. Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha begins August 27th. Only on PlayStation
  19. Any addition was obviously going to be connected into the new 'hub' of Call of Duty ever since they created Cold War and MW user interface to be connected as one. I'd actually think we need whatever update is coming to be connected to Warzone as thats their future. Lets just hope it isn't a waste of space campaign or additional MP part.
  20. Of course, I was following the best advisors and saying what they say so had to be said 😬🤣 I've really enjoyed the team thingy as myself and James @Lurch have talked through a few races which was fun to help to each other through. I suppose you need a little more 'activity' to make it really fun though, for instance we had a few liveries but not many for it (totally get why as they take an age sometimes but it would've been more fun to share and get people going). I'm a fan of sticking with one car as it will add to the excitement and imbalancing through the races. Yeah, totally with you. Its the one constructive feedback I gave without a solution as you can imagine I couldn't think of one! It would keep many of the other people that arguably are at the lower end of the grid really excited and into it each week. Can we have the oval 20-30 lap race please in the season @phil bottle?
  21. After 2 games no team in the entire Championship have a 100% win record. I think this year may have some random teams pop up in the top 6 at this rate already.
  22. Been a great second season and seeing around 8-12 people each week has been good attendance. My thoughts are in no particular order: One race rather than two races for league. I would prefer two but I don't think we have enough availability every night for people to play 3-4 hours of GT. We need to find a way to keep the numbers nearer 12-16 each week as the racing is then through the entire field. One race would probably help or playing 2 each fortnight and having a week off 'league racing' could help that. Manufacturer idea was great and keeps many people closer than we expected. However, only part that I think is a constructive point on this, from a personal note, is it hindered me getting into the top 3 many times, purely down to lack of pace in our choice of car. One manufacturer is easier for newer and people that play less than the regulars to get involved. Weirdly, I think reverse grid would interest more people and give more challenge all around I think but not sure how to implement it as Qualifying is something I love doing and seeing (equally shouldn't be technically punished for putting an ace qualy lap in). That's about it as it was a really good fun league again. All the above is trying to solve is more chances to get more people involved and enjoying themselves when being there. Endurace Race thoughts - make it a one off random day event separate to league. I don't think as many will want to try it out but leaves us with the ones that do. Plus, no impact to league element. an be like a mini-cup that we do every few months separate to the league....I think that would be pretty cool actually 😄
  23. Great to see so many turn up, even if I assume it was a little last minute! It sounds like it made for two great races because of it so thanks for people to continue to turn up. I'm not overly down that the scores have ended up how they have as we've had many miss outs this season, with our team one of the most. So whilst it doesn't look tight lower down, @Lurch and me sit with 11.9 average score per FGer, per race whereas 2nd place @Mikepjbell and @crispymorgan sit 13.6. Only 1.5 points off which is virtually a place each on the finish line and it would be a different story. Consistency will always be king on this game though, and its good to have people as objectives to work towards to know you are getting better. @phil bottle a little premature to say good and constructive points, although I agree with one race per week as I think some struggle to make it all night on GT Sport. Sticking with one constructor has been fun though so far, even if it can be more challenging against your own team some weeks.
  24. I think the key part to this is they would still need c.500 smackers to part with to make the code useful 😃 Many of the keen FGers seem to have one now in the UK and the others are saving up for one. Shame this doesn't help the Americans as I'm sure some of them are more in the space of wanting one but can't get hold of them.
  25. This makes no sense to me but the fact it only needs Vanilla is insane that you can't get on. @Greboth @Misneach_ any ideas? Also, Tommy @BO7H B4RRELS get your shiny ass in here. You have no excuse now! and @Spacedeck , I'm sure we can figure something out to work together on!
