Not had much time to catch up on Assassin's Creed of late and this doesn't much help either cos its just a cinematic trailer! I'm not too interested in it though as I'd rather go back and find time for Valhalla, even though i would probably need a year to complete that game.

How i'm seeing the news and feedback across the places I look, i'm not actually hearing much at all, so I do believe they are more onto a winner than not with this one. We'll never hear about the good things in CoD, always the bad and I get that but I would say its been nice to hear and read the footsteps debate above. I wish others on the world wide webz could have some structured convo like this because I understand where many of you come from now. I still feel like sound is a huge thing that is now used in all PvP games as a tool to 'Get Better'. It should be toned down somewhat come tonight so lets see how it plays. I do think though that Tom @LordBaguette was right last night online when he said that really, these issues should only impact the super top players (maybe even Euan @Chookes if he realised where his PS4 was) rather than ourselves. The footsteps issue won't stop me charging through so we'll see how many games we win tonight! 😅

When you've been playing MW2019 for many weeks now, I can tell you its not a problem and its definitely quieter for me. I'll let @Macca89 @LordBaguette @James @jordie1892 @Diddums @Greboth @IRaMPaGe share their thoughts if they feel different on it. And lets face it, isn't that a natural thing? To hear someone is getting closer so you can be aware of your surroundings and counter if possible? Don't hear it any different on Destiny 2 PvP, Overwatch PvP, or Fortinte PvP. You hear footsteps in all of those games - and probably even louder than MW2019 imo.

I just didn't hear it personally and I sound whore to hell on these games. Its definitely quieter than MW2019 and thats never a problem in that game. Sounds like they are changing it though, so you'll be happy 😄 "Footsteps Footstep audio in week one of the MP Beta was very high, giving players long distance directional information about enemies. For Weekend Two we have some changes coming in. We are reducing the range of footstep audio for the various player movement states (jog, sprint and tactical sprint). This will help soften the cost of moving around the map. The second change is that enemy and friendly footsteps are now distinct. This should help players better understand what's going on as things move around on the battlefield. More details to follow." We really have to get over the Dead Silence issue though. I mean, back in the day I see why we people are wedded to it as it would be soooo OP to have it. Games evolve and so do Gamers. For the better of any PvP game, you have to a level of sensory awareness and a random person running around a map on silent skates popping everyone in the head as you can't react to where they are coming from. Campers you can't ever get rid of as its a playstyle, but i'd rather take on them alone than deal with campers and then Dead Silence veterans running around silently killing you the entire game. Theres no defence to that at all.

I need to check my Week 3 potentials now, i've never been so invested beign 2nd after 2 weeks! 🤣 I know it won't last but it should be a good laugh over the next few weeks. I'll also turn on that RedZone @Antpool84 and see how that is on a Sunday evening...just need to get it on Sky Go so i can play FIFA at the same time! 🤣

I'm pretty sure @crispymorgan was going to dedicate his life to this game when he saw it. For some reason I thought it was a PSVR game? I feel like if you're shooting to the beat I would've thought weapons probably don't matter too much as they'll all pretty much die from shots to the beat? Just an assumption.

Here's Week 2's results and overall standings! How mad the week was for me, I decided to not do too much with my squad, just swap a bench player as one of WR was potentially injured and I had a 70% of beating @Findmartin ...only for the games to completely flip and by Sunday night I was only leading by 14pts but Mart had 2 players left to play and 81% chance of winning. Completely lucked out that as one was Questionable and so was rested, and the other which was a RB had a stinker so managed to scrape the win, sorry Martin! 🤣 Can't believe the 3 UK NFL followers have had the start they have! @Antpool84 @jordie1892 @G_dub52 ! I thought most of you had chances, at least at one stage across the weekend to win your games! 😅 Definitely not looking forward to playing Matty @Misneach_ this week, my players need to have a kick up the arse abit!

Haven't read all that big take @techno but i think from a few games yesterday I can safely say its had a good start. Many of the things that seem to be bothering people are in the detail imo and plays very much MW2019 which is definitely a good thing. Arguably it feels better than that too because Footsteps that everyone gets bothered about isn't a problem that I see. New map issues are something that usually stem from not playing the map enough to understand where things are. I've not been spawn trapped once yet, which is a very good thing because most people moan about that first. Only really used M4 so far but felt decent to shoot, connectivity wasn't too bad as I only had one live glitch that took up a quarter of the screen until i died. I'd agree with @Greboth that the perk system feels a little jarring, but i'm willing to see how that goes as its completely new. Anything new will always feel abit weird as most hate change, just depends on if you can select some perks in certain orders, etc as the game goes on but I haven't a clue on how it works so hopefully a little rework wouldn't go a miss. I think the only thing i'm finding so far is that its difficult to see players from far campy, head glitch spots. It hugely helps being in a team hearing the callouts for it so i can see that getting somewhat annoying....makes me think, I can't remember the player name coming up when ADSing on the target far away. Maybe this would help if so? First impressions though is that its not like many Beta clusterfucks we see with other games. Start looking at the CoD glass half-full is my advice for a change.... 😄

Yeah, reaction on Twitter from many people is just weird. Game probably won't be out for another 2 years anyway. Funnily enough I though what I did see of it (thanks @J4MES OX4D for sharing it all) was pretty decent. Very positive signs that we'll get something far better to work with.

Hmmm, its a slow burner of a game and it was made to make you think. I don't think it make you depressed but you said you want an experience that is fun and I think this is more one of those thinking deeper games with some unique ways on how it interacts and plays. I haven't played it longer than a few hours as it was pretty sluggish for me too and not enough to hold me from the start. I'm sure there was abit that would be grips to you play more - the only person that really loved this as far as I can remember was @JsinOwl .

Personally, you could recreate this using your idea for way less cost. Either 1) use a 3D printer to create the Sega Mega Drive with a space to fit the components for the Raspberry PI, or 2) buy an old faulty Mega Drive for next to nothing on eBay. Open it up and stick the Raspberry PI in it. If you can get that working in the same way, you have access to way more games too with some nostalgia. Its all about the effort really vs handing over money for a ready made one.

They've built up a huge following that the cash cow of GTA will be ridiculously huge whatever they release on the 74 consoles available today.

Nooooooo 😭 Sega all the way baby 😎 None of that weird Plumber guy (Sorry Dave! @Plumbers Crack 🤣). I mean, the titles look pretty decent for a change. They've focused on some titles that are actually pretty hard to get at a reasonable price if you want the original - Streets of Rage 3 is over £100 on its own if you want the original. Still feels weird though as its emulated so you could just download them on your PC for virtually naff all if you wanted to play the game. For people that can't get into buying the old kit and just want a quick easy bit of nostalgia, I can see why they'd go for it. Do you think its a own goal that they couldn't make the cartridge slot to work with the original games?

Nah, its all for fun and it reminds people we actually have quite a lot of quizzes that people haven't tried or gone back to! And its always good seeing if you can beat others too for a little slice of FG pride 🤣🤣

Its early days Gaz, you'll always get some views from either side that'll be way off. When you start out, I alwasy find I struggle until I work out map design, where people usually run into, good cover spots and finding the most common campers like @MrBiron so you can grab an easy kill 😎 I'll be looking to see if the Open Beta is available to download now, its got to be worth having a few tries on it - and we all know if we were joined up rather than solo you always get a better experience initially.
