  1. Does feel huge and i love space combined with the building elements. Remains to be seen if this is likely to slip into 2024 though as its so big I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe by then I'd have bought the latest Xbox. It does look like it serve well on PC more so though, esepcially the chop and change custom building elements. Good points. I think in a game its fair to expect some planets will be of a similar ilk, but thats okay. Just depends on how much unique and varied waypoints or key points of interest each one will have that is different. The challenge is definitely to make it feel different to No Mans Sky as it needs to stand out on its own rather than just more of NMS as you may as well invest time into that instead.
  2. Not really @Riff Machine . Whilst I usually like the look of any football game, I'm not sure I'll get my money's worth out of it. It looks way more exciting with friends and I don't think we play much online Switch here atm.
  3. Bit gutted I can't make this Saturday coming as its my daughter's football prsentation evening. Let me see whats on the menu for the rest of the week and maybe get one up when you are free another night too @Leeesh13 . Hopefully others get on the bandwagon though! 😄
  4. Its a bit late now, as I've missed most of it but I think GTFO has a free weekend until today but unsure if thats related to this or not? Either way, I know its a game we've watched its progress for a long time now. Hope its worthwhile.
  5. I can see why they went down this route as they should try and add additional content where possible, even though F1 cars is very niche. I think its more of a missed trick though not trying to get F2, F3 and Electric F1 in here because that is their bag and wouldn't much from what they already have in the game.
  6. Happy Father's Day for yesterday all! It was my wife's birthday yesterday too, so I made sure it was about her more so having a break myself! Although it was still a chilled day which was nice. I even got a Blackburn Rovers training t-shirt and shorts which was a bonus that I wasn't expecting 😄 @Spacedeck , I'm hoping she feels better today pal, its horrible when your child is poorly as there's not much any of us can do, other than get to the qualified people to help, which you are.❤️
  7. Yeah i find its hard with the verticality of a 2D side-scroller that the challenge is how do you make connection sometimes. I think because its TMNT though and not some fully fledged uber competitive game, I don't focus on it too much. The story seems like its a pretty chilled experience, although haven't tried it on higher difficulties yet. And @Antpool84 , Chad is bang on. Its EXACTLY what you would want from it, and a little extra imo.
  8. Unfortunate circumstances for you all, but i'm sure its totally understandable. Looking forward to what you do next 🙂
  9. The death animations look incredible I must say. Not sure I have the stomach for this game but certainly would watch some playthroughs instead.
  10. And after last night us trying the multiplayer story mode, that was pretty spot on! And why we loved it so much. No overthinking, just some good old, in the moment gaming fun. The music is absolutely superb and the revive system has been implemented fantastically. Something you would never expect to see in a revamped game like this.
  11. Going this way will I think work, for a while. The industry as a whole is entering the digital/cloud space so I expect a huge boom before the next gaming crash. It kind of saturates the field and then I feel gaming development could become lazy as things will be limited in a way to meet the capacity of what these TVs can deliver. I do want to be more positive about it all, just trying to see what the benefit is. We must evolve the times rather than reject change, but it does start to feel like we already on the course to a huge saturation of DDD rental gaming.
Nice little intense shootout. Nice capture Seb!
  12. Fancy bringing the Demo with you in November @crispymorgan ? 😎Great concept, even if you don't like Metal.
  13. Great thread @Luseth . A lot of FGers may have put some of what they do in their PPRs over the years but I think things always change for some people. Not me though, lol. I work in Projects/Change. Yep, vague as hell and the most transferable thing you could probably do. I'm a Change Lead at a UK Building Society. Been here for 18 years come 27th September. I'd say my job feels very much like what you might ask like a consultant to do to come and help problem solving and get decisions on certain technology, processes and organisation structure/people. It has been varied for the past 10 years, and I always feel really lucky that I've had chance to work on the biggest projects/programmes we've done in all that time. I'm currently on the biggest one at the moment which is delivering software for mortgage brokers and staff to use with customers on mortgages. On the subject of our current jobs, thought i'd also mention that Covid has changed my mindset even further - Working from Home pretty much permanently although you never know how long that may last. Its done wonders for me mentally. Seeing the kids and wife so much more than I did. I don't feel as guilty as i did and I really am a big believer in living your life to the fullest - which means getting the best work/life balance you can find. Very rarely we find a job to live for as we mostly work to live. I'm definitely in the camp of work hard but don't allow anything to get in the way of real important shizzle things happening in life...which could even be what we're gaming on tonight! 🤣😎
  14. Maaaaaaaateee @Riff Machine , it really IS AWESOME!! I absolutely love that the game plays and feels so much like the old classic side scroller, but it also feels refreshed, extra moves and details. Actual content to replay and the fact it is 6 Player co-op online is incredible. Also, I really love the extra detail on the Story mode that it has a World Map, very similar to how Super Mario World would have, which i'm really impressed by. For £18 it is an absolute steal of a buy. Couldn't agree more Chad.
  15. Went to come here and mention Hustle so I'm glad someone else has had really positive feelings from this film. I absolutely loved it. Sports films with a drama and uplifting theme will always be an easy and good watch for me but I think it was just how Adam Sandler played such a real role. Not his usual funny self but still had that natural sarcasm in it that was enough to just really love it. I don't follow Basketball closely but if anyone does, it is a MUST watch because of how many famous IRL players are in the film.
  16. Great info post @Lurch . I think these two updates feel like they should have the most impact out of all the changes imo. It really changes the combat depending on how much you can either walk on walls, jet packs, or boots on the ground. I think adding verticality is a good thing, providing they have enough options to combat camping at high places. The ledge-hanging definitely sounds interesting and makes you feel like you can hide on a ledge for a short while.
  17. On the England front, I think its perfectly acceptable to say that the performance against was unacceptable and deservedly lost badly and at the same time say that the Nations League was clearly used to bleed players in for the next 2,4,6 years as thats how Southgate has been. Yes, he hasn't won anything only one manager ever has for us. If you look at his past record, because thats all you can do, his Win % is higher than Sir Alf Ramsay right at this minute. I think a lot of younger folk too say this is the best squad we've had in years too which I don't think is accurate either. When they say best, usually thats through stats and stuff on paper. If thats the case then the late 90's and for 15 years onwards, was probably the best but we all know it takes a good team to get you over the line, not individuals. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You don't know what you've got 'til its gone 👊
  18. How much does it come up in the rotation? Worthwhile enough to give it a few tries?
  19. All good @Riff Machine , I now get to experience a bigger co-op experience on Shredder's Revenge while we wait!!
  20. Here you go John @Tar-Eruntalion , if you just copy and paste the youtube link in the text box here, it should automatically embed. Yeah, looks decent tbh. Not something i would naturally pick up but would be interested to hear more from others.
  21. Hi all! As luck would have it, to go along our many increasing server list for PC games, it was about time to go and set one up for a PS4 game so many of you FGers have somewhere to share on console too! 😄 You'll find a current Vanilla DayZ server on the console version available if you search 'Forever Gaming DayZ PS4'. Its initially set up for 3 months and we'll keep it going if everyone is enjoying it. Obviously be good to get some interest below and if you want any requests put them here now so we can work out what would be good for everyone to have in the server. No password for now, completely open to all. We'll work out a few basic guidelines so at least no one takes the pee out of it all! Let us know if you fancy getting on as i'm sure there's a few resident DayZ console players itching to get in those woods! 👀
  22. 3D modelling eh? @Greboth would i'm sure very much like some of your best efforts to be shared with his here 😎 its in the Hobbies section I think, or could be Cars as he's pretty good at that too. Job wise, happiness is the ultimate goal. Need to get the balance of not just always chasing the money so totally understand staying put if its great...and clearly nice chill days like today. FO76 is a game I wanted to get into but struggled. The idea that we could have a server was more interesting as I couldn't keep my self interest there on Single Player. Assuming you played the previous Fallouts then, which one would you say ranks highly?
  23. Sounds like a great day tbh already! Ah, I wouldn't be too concerned about not much work. When it has been busy, i'm sure you've bust a nut to help them whenever needed so it all swings in roundabout ways. I now keep all my actions or stuff to do for work AND life on the same list. We sometimes focus too much time on work and get that balance wrong when really important stuff happens to yourself that you need that time to do those things. I feel far better about work/life balance. You've still had a busy day getting those bits done in the garage....time for more games I think!
  24. Sounds like bliss if you ask me @Luseth ! 😅 On a sunny day you'd pick gaming? Of course! 😄 How are you with setting yourself some lists to do stuff or certain goals you wanna do? I'm not talking aspirational huge long term goals. More so mini simplistic ones to start with. Could just be completing on the latest game you bought (MW Camos perhaps? 😄) or could be stuff to share on FG too...do your worst!! 😎 Some good TV binge also doesn't go a miss. Stranger Things being a good one lately.
