I like it 🤷‍♂️🤣🤣 MW2019's is all over the shop for me, too many menus within menus I got lost so when it came to this one, and I found the Challenges within 30 seconds of setting up my first gun, I can't deny that I think its better. Lets face it though, the Friends system on most games lately really suck hard. OW2, MW2019, Fall Guys, GTA5 to name a few. This could definitely get an overhaul but i'm finding my way round other things pretty easily. Maybe the only other improvement could be around when they use buttons like L3, R2, etc and the option is in grey, small print in a corner of the screen. I'd agree that needs changing.

Main take is that he hasn't got the time for his other 'superstar' role, but I know there was talk if this went off course too much from the main story he loved that he wouldn't do it anymore. I do wonder if Netflix are probably just cashing in on the series because they know even if no one wants to see Liam Hemsworth to do it, people that have watched 3 seasons will at least give Season 4 a watch. Not sure how to feel as we don't know how Liam will be, just know Henry is an absolute blast as Geralt.

I think it fits the large amount of casual players at launch, not saying I agree with it though overall as I want it to be interesting to try attachments to find a great loadout too. Just don't be surprised that if we see in the first balance patch that stock guns aren't as good as they were at launch. I must admit, it didn't stop me from doing the M4 Gold Camo after one day. Maybe cos the sheer amount of attachments this time round, means there are some good combos but we have to really look out for them and try different options until we find one thats better than the stock.

Its the first CoD in...ever that I'm actually interested in levelling up and getting the Challenges done on all the guns in MW2 so I thought lets get a thread up so people can share when they've managed to get a Camo done - maybe also tell us if it was a decent gun, or an absolute grindfest to get it! Looking forward to seeing below what you all can get in this one 😎

I actually think thats a good thing. KC games where it swings either way just near the end are always the games we all as a team get hyped to try and get the last tag for the win. I find its 1 in every 5/6 games we probably get absolutely turned over, which i'm fine with. Its gonna happen from time to time. re the attachments thoughts @J4MES OX4D @TigerBurge @Luseth , maybe its a launch thing. For instance, make stock guns that everyone accesses pretty decent feeling so they get into the game and a later patch will rebalance the stock guns? I think thats a sound model how to get people engaged initially anyway. I'm finding the right scope is DEFINITELY making a difference. I also think having less attachments on should work too. It would annoy me if most guns would only work well with teh full 5 attachments on it. I'm sure theres some good combos people have found though as they've unlocked way more stuff.

You're probably right @Greboth, although I clearly hold the pad so hard I can't keep flashing my lights at whoever is in front of me 😅 I've definitely relaxed somewhat and maybe because I gave GT7 a go right from the start has given me extra confidence. Last week's track though was horrible and rightly I ended up much further down the pecking order.

I get that but a large part of the game is there and the world has been changing to this way of working for some years now. Do I agree with it? Not always, as I loved the days of sticking a cartridge in and having the whole game straight away! On balance though, games now have online and more functions than those days so I just think we have to get with it personally. I think CoD is more that it is a car with an engine AND wheels. Just the standard ones you buy with it and carpets inside and no sport mode 😄 You have to at least acknowledge this CoD is definitely doing something different in the right direction though. The amount of divide for this feels 50/50 whereas ones before this have been overwhelmingly negative for years.

I'd love a 3 way fight for the title. I think we can say Max is a clear winner this year and also that its disappointing more news comes out against Red Bull that makes you wonder. Although, I think even if Ferrari had fixed their issues and they didnt overspend, you could still see he was head and shoulders above them as a driver. Leclerc is close though, definitely more so if they can be more reliable in strategy. Hamilton definitely has the fire back in him. I think he deserves at least a win this year and hopefully more next year if they can close the gap like they have in the closing stages of this years F1 season. I've really enjoyed watching races again this year which I didn't think i'd say considering Verstappen has won 14 of them! 🤣 There seems to be more fighting going on through the pack with some teams excelling some weeks and then less so in others. I do wonder if Mclaren have fell off the wagon yet again. Very strange to see them struggle for months now - Lando is showing how well he can drive to get them even remotely close to the top 6.

Just catching up and it looks like they've had an update - "After discovering the footage used in the mysterious video has been taken from an Unreal Engine 5 assets pack, it now appears that the video is a hoax." Shame as I'd like to think some MGS games are worthy of returning too...having said that and the amount of remakes, it would be cool to take the best bits and create a new MGS please.

I think whilst we get annoyed about the lack of functionality not in the launch game, I geniunely think its a way they are using to get the game stable before adding more stuff to it. Its how most systems and technology is going these days because people care overall about the actual day to day working (gameplay) first and foremost. Its why I think we'll get at 2-3 new maps before Christmas added. Fwiw, I think there's only 2 poor maps and the Border Map was at least an attempt to try something completely different. You can get decent games if you can adapt to the way it flows like @TigerBurge says.

Now that is a surprise for me, and probably else to see! I'm glad I've had a little more consistency so far - weirdly when I've had less time to practice and think about it as i'm racing home from footy training! We'll see how it goes though as I know the lowest 4 scores will be removed by the end of it. This is a great shout...probably should spend time with the wife, kids and dogs before I get guilt tripped about the following 4 days 😅

I think it considering how many of us play. It really makes it easier to play when we have now 3-5 games where we can dip into so this doesn't feel like you can burnt out. I'm pleasantly surprised on how many people do like it as opposed to hate it - that hasn't happened here for years. Its not perfect by any stretch but they'll only add to it. Btw, I can't deny Border Crossing map is awful just a random thought - maybe it was just trying to give an idea a go? We always hammer them cos they never try anything new or different and now they have we hammer them cos its bad? We should rightly give them poor feedback but I hope in return they can communicate with some tweaks to it perhaps.

Really?? I swear this is way quieter than MW2019 which we've been playing for a while now. You only hear them loudly right at the last moments so it feels kind of balanced to me 🤷‍♂️ What are they roasting it about? I've seen some negative stuff but its all about missing content, not actually how the game is playing.

New Halloween event for Overwatch 2 now out from October 25th until November 8th. I've had one playthrough so far just on story mode rather than the higher difficulties. Its pretty fun actually, longer than I anticipated. I think its helped that I haven't done some of these PvE events for the past few years so it felt very fresh and some decent ideas using the heroes in different bodies/themes. The four characters on story mode I think makes it a little more difficult because many won't be used to Junker Queen, Kiriko, Ashe and Sojourn but still fun nontheless. Anyone else tried it and have some thoughts? Anyone want to give it a bash over the next week too?

Watching the new one not long ago, was such a great film and nod to these two films. Very well made and a great ending for anyone that loved the originals.

I really did not expect to play the game as long as I have on the first day. Nice to see like @techno says, many of us in the same party but in different groups, solo or up to 4 players. That seemed to be the limit before the game screwed the party for some of us. It also got many different people together again and that was pretty cool too. @datfroggieguy @Capn_Underpants @TheMuggySpud @Misneach_ @Greboth @Luseth @LordBaguette @Bluebear to name a few. I also think I'm agreeing with you @J4MES OX4D 😄 Mainly because the game itself plays really well. Its super solid and the early guns we all try seem well balanced. I only saw one guy using the X12 handgun that was wrecking us which I didn't feel too bad about. The only annoyance is the lack of usual functions and gamemodes that you would expect to be in the game from launch. That is masking the external news on places like Twitter and rightly so - I just hope people don't pass on this one as there are many plus points already to it. We had a laugh last night as it seems the UI divides us all. I really like it, as does @Luseth , but its clear what @Greboth felt about it! 🤣 As did others. The reason why I think its less cluttered is that there hasn't been a CoD game that has been inviting me to understand the Challenges and Objectives I can focus on. They're always really hidden deep in the game. This time round, its a little easier in a logical place in the Gunsmith when you customise them. I think they could make it even easier but this is CoD so little gains are huge imo 😅 I think the Perk system is still weird. I'm not hugely caring for it or equally not that bothered but I know something doesn't feel right about it. I'm not starting to think that they are trying to get players away from those types of things to rely on all the time and just go back to basics of trying to beat the team with just yourself and the gun. I think this shows why I think they are making us not worry about it. And if i'm honest, I love it. Every CoD always brought out the rage in people sitting in the most campiest corner for 15 mins trying to pick people off. Playing slower is the way sometimes otherwise you can get rinsed easily, but to the point where I need these perks. So many people last night in the party were also getting decent scores to the objective and KD so you don't need these perks for the game to survive. I hope they add the missing stuff like Hardcore, Crossplay options and in-game stats within the next month - but i'd argue right now it isn't hurting us actually play the game. If I had to have the choice what to have first, I'd vote for more maps to be released over this lot. Crossplay with SBMM shows it doesn't hurt the game, we won 80% of the games still. Games are goign this way and it allows us to play with everyone so I'd start to embrace it now. Last thought would be that TTK is that quick that you don't miss Hardcore....just yet.
