I think it considering how many of us play. It really makes it easier to play when we have now 3-5 games where we can dip into so this doesn't feel like you can burnt out. I'm pleasantly surprised on how many people do like it as opposed to hate it - that hasn't happened here for years. Its not perfect by any stretch but they'll only add to it. Btw, I can't deny Border Crossing map is awful just a random thought - maybe it was just trying to give an idea a go? We always hammer them cos they never try anything new or different and now they have we hammer them cos its bad? We should rightly give them poor feedback but I hope in return they can communicate with some tweaks to it perhaps.

Really?? I swear this is way quieter than MW2019 which we've been playing for a while now. You only hear them loudly right at the last moments so it feels kind of balanced to me 🤷‍♂️ What are they roasting it about? I've seen some negative stuff but its all about missing content, not actually how the game is playing.

New Halloween event for Overwatch 2 now out from October 25th until November 8th. I've had one playthrough so far just on story mode rather than the higher difficulties. Its pretty fun actually, longer than I anticipated. I think its helped that I haven't done some of these PvE events for the past few years so it felt very fresh and some decent ideas using the heroes in different bodies/themes. The four characters on story mode I think makes it a little more difficult because many won't be used to Junker Queen, Kiriko, Ashe and Sojourn but still fun nontheless. Anyone else tried it and have some thoughts? Anyone want to give it a bash over the next week too?

Watching the new one not long ago, was such a great film and nod to these two films. Very well made and a great ending for anyone that loved the originals.

I really did not expect to play the game as long as I have on the first day. Nice to see like @techno says, many of us in the same party but in different groups, solo or up to 4 players. That seemed to be the limit before the game screwed the party for some of us. It also got many different people together again and that was pretty cool too. @datfroggieguy @Capn_Underpants @TheMuggySpud @Misneach_ @Greboth @Luseth @LordBaguette @Bluebear to name a few. I also think I'm agreeing with you @J4MES OX4D 😄 Mainly because the game itself plays really well. Its super solid and the early guns we all try seem well balanced. I only saw one guy using the X12 handgun that was wrecking us which I didn't feel too bad about. The only annoyance is the lack of usual functions and gamemodes that you would expect to be in the game from launch. That is masking the external news on places like Twitter and rightly so - I just hope people don't pass on this one as there are many plus points already to it. We had a laugh last night as it seems the UI divides us all. I really like it, as does @Luseth , but its clear what @Greboth felt about it! 🤣 As did others. The reason why I think its less cluttered is that there hasn't been a CoD game that has been inviting me to understand the Challenges and Objectives I can focus on. They're always really hidden deep in the game. This time round, its a little easier in a logical place in the Gunsmith when you customise them. I think they could make it even easier but this is CoD so little gains are huge imo 😅 I think the Perk system is still weird. I'm not hugely caring for it or equally not that bothered but I know something doesn't feel right about it. I'm not starting to think that they are trying to get players away from those types of things to rely on all the time and just go back to basics of trying to beat the team with just yourself and the gun. I think this shows why I think they are making us not worry about it. And if i'm honest, I love it. Every CoD always brought out the rage in people sitting in the most campiest corner for 15 mins trying to pick people off. Playing slower is the way sometimes otherwise you can get rinsed easily, but to the point where I need these perks. So many people last night in the party were also getting decent scores to the objective and KD so you don't need these perks for the game to survive. I hope they add the missing stuff like Hardcore, Crossplay options and in-game stats within the next month - but i'd argue right now it isn't hurting us actually play the game. If I had to have the choice what to have first, I'd vote for more maps to be released over this lot. Crossplay with SBMM shows it doesn't hurt the game, we won 80% of the games still. Games are goign this way and it allows us to play with everyone so I'd start to embrace it now. Last thought would be that TTK is that quick that you don't miss Hardcore....just yet.

Went to Game and grabbed it. 6-7 games in and I'm happy to say its feeling pretty solid and stable with a feel good factor from what I had in the Beta - if not better. Barely lost a game too which clearly helps but I find the early struggles are based around learning some new maps in the game, which is something that should get better over time anyway. I found using the default set classes that they give you really give you a great start to the game. If you use the M4 class they've created (press R1 before selecting a class), then it will level up the gun for you to customise your own class over time. The 74-U still works well but doesn't feel OP. Better on close quarters games. Just needs some adjusting to the slowness of reloads and activating perks - UAVs and DDOS attacks can take ages for you to put the phone away so be mindful when you select them. Whilst I'm no way near as fast when I used to play as a kid, I feel that because we've learned how to go around CoD maps through shared experiences, its really helped me get off to a flyer. I've never been in a positive KD position, playing the objective in any CoD game this early.

Yeah absolutely you can help! I think the challenge is finding an easier way to capture them and then upload them. I just need to find a place for us to do it which works well showing them off on FG. Lets search for some ways to do it outside the spreadsheet I do currently and if all else fails we'll do it the same way but i'll do a simplistic template for people to help me 😄

Most of the premium subscriptions just aren't worth it unless you are really into trying out indie games, which I'm sure works for some people. You can definitely save money and then invest it more so on other games that you may want add-ons, DLC, etc. As for this month, its not too bad. Lego games are really underrated. I have Harry Potter and its a great Lego game. I'm sure some will be interested in Nioh 2.

Yeah, EA really have made it a struggle once again as the only option i'd say is for the PS5 players to get the cross-gen version which gives you access to both PS4 and PS5 game. We still have around 6 people playing on PS4s and i'm not leaving any of them behind, its not what we do. As for FIFA23, i'd like to see if we can pull off some different challenges alongside Pro Clubs. Cup runs would help more often, and then there is the Tourneys we create for ourselves on here. Sunday and Monday seem the better nights for regular playing still, although we should always remind people you don't have to show up for both and we can always do ad-hoc nights on other days if we find enough want to play. If we use the Events on FG correctly, we can always check who is coming and if there's at least 4 people it should be a good one. I also need to look at new Achievements for the new game but also need to look at what to do about keeping stats. I don't want it to be a huge overhead for me to do but equally its fun if we do it for each session. When inconsistency of record keping and CBA thoughts to it are creeping in, then it just devalues why we do it. I'd like to spin up the Game Hub page once again properly and also get quite a few Guides out - people still probably don't realise @jordie1892 's guides on builds for FIFA 21 are sitting there with way over 10k hits on each so it shows it helps us and new people coming to FG. FInal ask would be I'd love for us to have a huge squad and now I think subs can work, it means we can have more than 11 sometimes and multiple nights for us all to play together.

When James@anticonscience mentioned about getting it on Xbox I thought it would be good to get an understanding who is getting MW2 on what platform - this will help us work out if we start Playstation parties or/and look out for game chat parties. I also think we may need to start sharing our Activision gamertags too - if we have enough players, I can start looking at adding a Profile field for everyone at FG if people want that too? For the first time I think we'll start to see alot more crossplay so lets see if we can make that happen with everyone here!! I need to invest more time into putting up some garden threads. This is great, thanks for sharing @Luseth . My mum has a love for gardening and I do too enjoy seeing lovely gardens, just never knew where to start. I'm probably more into growing nice flowers than vegetables, etc, but you are tempting me to restructure the garden so we have a small patch for growing some things. I think it would help the kids too learn new things. Where do you get your flower seeds from?

Are we really saying its worse than the press F to pay respects mission? Shame some aren't finding it great. Its obviously going to be somewhat cheesy as they are re-introducing all the better characters in the past. It does look great from the small clips i've seen, really well done on the graphics side.

Finally got back on. Enjoyed running in for the most part....and then somehow I got an infection. FUCK! Tried my best to keep running so far through the woods to get up to Carl @TurboR56Mini as he had some tetro...dffdkcjvbugvchjbsdsddsk pills or whatever you call them, but La @RenFengge advised me that if you have it too long Stage 2 kicks in and then i'm on the slow path to no way back. However, I thought I lucked out as I was going to Gorka and stumbled upon a Hospital! What are the chances, eh? But then what are the chances of the Hospital having any tetro...,sdfhdfuhdciudhcbcy pills? Charcoal tablets galore, surgical gloves and a way to get my blood out if i wanted....but no tetro....you get the jist. I opened the door and Zimbies were right outside, so trying to battle through so I could start my pessimistic run to Carl, I got battered and knocked out. Waking up in a daze, with pretty much no health, I thought I would try one last attempt to get healthy...by removing a bag of my own blood, combining with an IV kit, and then giving myself a transfusion back into myself. Yes, I am that stupid, but hoped it would glitch out my stupid infection. Alas, it did not. I was dead. 2nd life rolling, I got a great spawn up on the East Coast so felt good thinking I could meet Carl soon. I thought I would go to the first town to get supplies before heading off. Berezino didn't have much and I just needed abit more food before Zombies approached my area. Next thing I knew my pipe wasn't hitting them hard enough and after playing the Crystal Maze with 4 Zombies over fences and around Greenhouses, they cut me. Problem was my bandage was all used up, no type of knife to cut some rags, so.....I was dead. I really have a problem playing this game. 😅 Will see what the next day brings. Hopefully some extra life and no ruined Apples and Pears.....

Fair play @Greboth, I just don't think I could spend time doing that...and knowing full well I'd screw it up too 😅 If there are replacement parts for the most common areas that gto wrong, then this controller might not be all bad. The £20 replacement sticks make it sound like it may be something that we could work with.
