Get yourself on one weekend mate. I've tried it now a few weeks ago with Carl and Jon and I must say it was starting to get addictive at one stage, only when I learned how a few things worked though. It helps that @TurboR56Mini and @Tar-Eruntalion have amassed some resurces already because for a first go, you kind of need certain materials to start creating some stuff so you can get a hang of it. I think the ladders and how you traverse some cliffs need a little work and the enemies that you sometimes come across are quite random and strange (not sure what their purpose are) but the building is definitely something to keep exploring.

Understandably it doesn't sound very warm and friendly but the counter argument back would be if you were in charge of a F2P section, why on earth should I feel like i have to do that? Skins are chargeable as they are cosmetic add-ons, just like us buying specific clothes to wear IRL. If you choose to buy a skin making you look like Ronald McDonald in fluorescent purple, thats on you, not on them. I don't do skins, and most just look like crap, but if we were being totally honest, i'm sure if a cool ass skin came along that hit your sweet spot on what you want to look like you can't deny you wouldn't be tempted. Sometimes I think where game companies could help us be more transparent is how much of those skin profits go towards new content or new development for things in game. Bungie tried to share that some years ago and explained why a skin on a gun was quite expensive because they could then put that money into 1 new gun. If there was more kind of raising funds for specific content, I would actually think you'd see even more skins sold. It helps sometimes to appreciate both sides of the coin. I don't disagree with the snetiments people are sharing here actually, but I would say the gaming world are sometimes too quick to respond before rationally understanding why stuff happens in the world of games.

Insane result for Sheff Weds. Peterborough have a good setup so I still think they'll be in and around playoffs or maybe an automatic spot next season. That's momentum for you. Emotionally, Coventry play like Germany when there in playoffs. Other teams just seem to panic and get scared but fair play to them, they've got enough points, put the ball in the net so deserve to be there. It doiesn't matter that either team will struggle - its more about getting that money to start bank rolling the team to yoyo for abit until they can sustain a PL place for years to come. People say its not about the parachute payments cos these 2 haven't got it, but this final is a rarity to see and i don't think the Championship will be as wide open in the playoffs for a while again like it was this season. I'd rather you didn't....knock-on effect might mean Feyenoord legend Jon Dahl Tomasson could be wanted so we get robbed of our manager. Awesome. Gary Neville called it some months back. Not everything he says is right but his reasoning for this happening was fair. It feels like a bottle job, but the real reasoning is that squad in depth that City have compared to Arsenal is just incomparable. When Arsenal needed fresh legs in this last few games they didn't have it, putting more pressure on the existing squad. Coming 2nd is still huge for Arsenal, but I get why you'd be gutted if you had that position with 5-10 games to go.

I'd agree that it is a very good mode that not as many people here play but I think alot of that has to do with the max party size of 3 if I'm honest. I go and play it sometimes when i jump online and only 2 or 3 jump straight into a party....but 2 mins later we usually hit 4 or more players so MP then is the way to go. Considering they allow 6 players to group together when you are on the map itself, it would be nice to see if they could allow a mode with larger squads. It would open up possibilities for more players to jump into together when theres 4-6 around. I'm sure they'll build on it more so because they've built it into the F2P side of things too.

Literally just dropped! Absolutely loving the new look. September 19th this year release date! Surely we're going to see some superb fatalities in this one. Thoughts?

Thanks for sharing @J4MES OX4D. I'd agree this seems a good approach. I may try more games if this was the case too as PC games are so saturated that I never know whether to pick one up or not.

Strange as I'm still having heaps of fun on the existing MW2 game right now. It would be nice to see this last a little longer but could understand how it may burn out just in time for MW3 at Xmas time.

I've only got a few of mine out at the moment but I would say getting a 3D print for some stands work really nicely, especially with the logo on them. I'm unconvinced at this moment that Cloud Gaming will be the permanent way even though I appreciate it has a large following already. Looking at them just now, the GameBoy Advance SP was a serious piece of kit that is so underrated. So easy to store, games to go with lots of detail in them - and you could link them up too to get some fun parties going.

My son has enjoyed the start of it so far and says its better than the first one. I'll ask him later what bits he's found really enjoyable. I'm not into Star Wars so i'm not going to be playing it anytime soon but it does look good when i've stopped to watch some parts of his playthrough.

I'll happily get involved again, definitely was enjoyable last time round. I'd suggest a quick poll for 2 or 3 dates for official draft timing which asks everyone to select ALL dates they can make and because its so far in advance we should be all or nearly everyone there. It would be nice to get a few more involved this year if they want to - @Ally @TigerBurge @Jason @BO7H B4RRELS @Riff Machine spring to mind. If anyone else is keen on joining, even to just help their understanding on NFL, its a good way to get involved in something at FG and maybe pick up a few things along the way.

Jesus @phil bottle, I know I said i'd be in to more survival games but this would probably blow the whole of FG minds rather than just @Diddums! Impressive, but i'd have serious anxiety issues trying to keep all the bars at 99% so I remain fully healthy...and then get picked off easily by a sniper somewhere i'm sure. Big question surely must be....do they have bicycles??!

Zelda fans love this regardless if it looks exactly like the previous game. A mate of mine is an avid Zelda fan and he's waiting for his Nintendo delivery this morning. I think the key for me if I want to dip and get this one will be to get over the breaking weapon mechanic. Once people find out how many weapons are unbreakable in the game, if there's quite a few I'd probably be more looking forward to this one than the last. The Fuse option does look like we can get around it a little easier and in fun ways too. The new Ultra Hand option is extremely well done. Very, very impressive.

I love the thought that @phil bottle dreams have now been fully realised. I think its crazy that the main devs won't put them in the game, and aren't likely to so it will have to be a mod added to use them. Have they ever said why they wouldn't add them in the past 26351538 years?

I do rate what SkillUp said about the overall impact this has on Xbox/Microsoft from a gaming POV. This is the latest AAA game from them compared to the last one on Playstation being God of War Ragnarok and Nintendo's Zelda. They have now unintentionally added so much pressure onto the launch of Starfield that Xbox could be in a continued downward spiral for the foreseeable. You never think one of the power giants could go one day....but then you look back at what happened to Sega when they were up against Nintendo and then new emergent Sony - it really can be a possibility. Game Pass rental service just for me is not worth the pennies and Redfall doesn't do anything to give me reason to pay monthly for it.

Yeah, love the idea @Luseth! Over time I've wanted to use the 'Solved' feature we have here when people ask questions but probably would require a little change to have a subforum as an FAQ styled section. It works on regular topics too so I think we start here and see what pops up and go from there. I've moved back to Everybody's Golf and working through that now as I went back to get the Platinum on Astrobot recently. Trying to build momentum and have more fun on existing games i've bought is my plan first but I know i'll get sidetracked soon by a massive long RPG game like the Witcher or something 😅
