  1. Is it sad that I remember watching some of this final?? 😅 Fair play to the guy, not all sports people get to live the rest of their days out on what they won. Even then, he says he doesn't need money but just enjoys the company which I love to see stuff like that. Shock headline yet again not so much when you realise the guy is just an all round decent guy doing what he enjoys.
  2. Hard agree @Spacedeck. I think its a really hard discipline to play games in a structured way, because games by design are that fun, escapism that we all love and probably the most spontaneous thing we do. Having said that, I have tried to be disciplined to play different games, and put up events so we have stuff to look forward to on multiple games, otherwise I notice that I end up not playing with many FGers and maybe not talking as much to them if we don't end up on the same game every day or week. I'm going to try and use the event calendar to help me play some multiplayer games and if no one turns up thats fine, i'll either still play it or push myself to play my single player backlog instead. I was also thinking maybe we can help each other on the backlog scene where we have a game we focus on each month perhaps where we all play it and share tips, stories, high scores and how we feel the game plays? That way it also feels like single player games aren't just on your own and gives you another reason to play so we can help others around here play their own backlog too. I'd be more inclined to play some of my games knowing I could help others....or get some much needed help from yourselves too! I forgot to add on my list the updated remasters of Resident Evil games....I need to see the updated scenes and story as 2 and 3 back in the day were some of my favourite memories as a kid.

I'll be playing on PlayStation, so you can too as I guessed it would be on PS4, no?

  5. It had top have one. Looking at some of your experiences about how big the open world is it would've been a shame not to utilise some of it and expand further. When's it coming out?
  6. 💙🤍 Played like a fully fledged Premiership team last night. Literally played Leicester off the park and its the first time looking back through the year I can finally feel like this team IS good enough. You always hope your team does well in league and in cups but there's always been a realism to the squads limits. Jon Dahl Tomasson is a bloody good coach and taking us to another level.
  7. Lets get a thread started so we know how people have found the experience of the Campaign and anything else in their first few plays on the DLC. Thoughts below? 👇
  8. Discord will be in Playstation soon so I hope at that point it will open up crossplay way more than it does today @crispymorgan. However, I'll always get it for my playstation as thats where i've got all my previous DLC for D2.
  9. Maybe...😅 I have a 4TB External because if you want me to play Rainbow 6 or some other random game on the fly, I need the space and it virtually ready! I think the issue is PS5 games of late are super big right now so it helps having a larger one because the next AAA games that are 200GB are just around the corner....
  10. Its because when you have no space left for a PS5 game, you can transfer one of your PS5 games to your external HD for 'storage'. If you want to play it again, you then need to transfer it back to the PS5 internal SSD - effectively saving a redownload that would take longer. It still takes time to transfer it from one storage to another which is the PITA if you play a number of games or need a few games ready on demand when people are around to play it. With 3 games over 100GB your space is pretty much taken on the internal SSD which is frustrating to say the least. Thanks Pat, most feedback on reviews say the heatsink doesn't matter too much but clearly parting with a lot of money made me ask the question here. Cheers @Greboth, I suppose the question is it worth an extra £50 just for a heatsink as that what I was trying to weigh up. Can I add one afterwards if I wanted to?
  11. Ah yes but thats an external Hard Drive so it won't play PS5 games directly from it. There's space for another SSD to slot so you can play PS5 games straight away.
  12. Whats everyone's thoughts to Heatsink or standard? People are saying it seems to not make much diffeence but interested if anyone has already got additional SSD storage as these games are getting bigger and bigger by the day! I think i'll have to save to get a 2TB one because I fear 1TB will just fill up really quickly with most of the latest games nearing 100GB or way more in some instances. Cheers!
  13. A testing Monday last week as FGFC really struggled to get going and as we know in Division 1, there isn't much room for horrible results, so by the end of the night it was great to see us all pull through to save relegation in the final game of the Season (much to the modest joy of @Findmartin). The night started with a close 3-2 loss which isn't unusual as everyone started to get their Monday Night Football juices flowing, although it went from bad to worse as Public Enemies wiped the floor with FGFC 5-0 straight afterwards. We thought we stopped the rot with a quickfire 4-0 against SS Dux, Dennis Rodman @Neatstorm on form with his usual moneyshot headers. More drama unfolded as Micky Red smashed 6 past the lacklustre FG defence. It really felt like the FIFA Script was setting in full flow for the whole night as some comical errors and horrible AI mishaps kept ended up in goals against us. It was that bad at one stage, the pressure got too much for Maccaroon @Macca89 and he pulled a few CBAs that you'd usually expect from Gary Goals @LordBaguette. 2 battling draws finally stopped the rot, the latter with a full end to end ding dong against FC Eckerngrade. Pat De Groyne @jordie1892 scoring a silky finish with 10 minutes to go from a lovely team passing move. Working so hard against 'The Script' 😅, it was still only 2 points so needing 3 wins from 3 the focus was fully on FGFC to try and turn it around - and indeed we did. 10 goals over 3 games secured a fantastic end to Season 11, and an array of lovely finishes from @LordBaguette and @Luseth as the games went on. It should be pointed out that some well fought Gail Cleansheets were secured through the night @Antpool84, @GazzaGarratt and @Findmartin picking up 2 each at their respective full back positions. Season 12 has been set up intensely with a win and a loss coming at the closing stages of the evening....good job the end positioning doesn't take into account goal difference 😅
  14. 🤣🤣 Is there a limit??!! And when are you next free to take me shopping in these cities?? 😎🤣
  15. Sweet haul and absolutely YES to a trip! Just looking at those retro treasures makes me want to get some more now 😅

Me too. Likelihood is I'll be free in a few hours after unexpected guests have left our house.

  18. Thats good to know @James5497. Maybe we need a test evening to see how that works and for instance if someone is streaming already, who takes precedent as the main stream.
  19. Capture Card is the way to go - I have an Elgato HD60 one which you can take anywhere rather than an internal one to put into your PC. You also need an HDMI Upscaler. How I would do it is: PS2 RCA Cable > HDMI Upscaler > Capture Card > PC (I think that's right). A HDMI Splitter may impact the performance of the picture and how the game plays if you add that in but I appreciate you could use that from the Capture Card to PC and TV if that works. We can have a few weekends where we both give the setup a go to see what works best. If you're recording that should be enough but I must admit the hardest part for me was to get my head around OBS for streaming. So many accidents can happen if you select the wrong input for picture, sound, etc. Probably helps you aren't in an online party as that's another thing that to consider depending on what voices you want to include.
  20. Its the one mobile game I've been looking at outside of Clash of Clans. I don't try and touch my mobile much as I use things like WhatsApp Web and spend most of day now in front of my PC. I'll take a look into it though as it reminds me when we as a family got heavily into a Transformers card game for Dax and that was immense, especially trying to get all the characters. Is there a feeling with this one that you have to find all the different characters over time?
  21. Anyone pre-ordered it to have a go at all?
    Such a good SMG
  22. Tesco stopped at our nearest one recently @IRaMPaGe and it was one of the few reasons we've had the Tesco Credit Card over the years to get vouchers to spend on them. Shame they're stopping really. If you have more stock at your place left, give me a shout as I may be able to do something with some of them!
  23. Not even sure I want to open Pandora's Box on this one, my backlog is pretty much everything I own which just not possible this year or years maybe. Whats stopping me go full hog into this just yet is my gaming setup. Its good, and i'm lucky to have what I have, but I need to overhaul it so its far easier to connect old consoles up to get more games on the go within seconds. I'm hoping this will be done nearer the holiday season this year fingers crossed. However, I pushed hard this at the start of this year to try more single player games. It won't be what I gravitate to because I want FG to flourish and grow for everyone's beenfit so Multiplayer will always win over most nights. BUT I did complete my first CoD campaign in years and now Hogwarts Legacy is getting minutes here and there every few days. I'd love to get a few PC games on the go, Valheim far more but maybe some more server games too. I need to make time for Tarkov and would love to get a large group here playing Sea of Thieves considering most of us have never touched the surface with all the longer quests in the game. A few I'd like to give a go at some point this year off the top of my head: Escape From Tarkov (PC) Sea of Thieves (PC/Xbox) God of War (PS4) Minecraft FG Realm (PS4/PC/Switch) GT7 Platinum Trophy (PS5) Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge (PS4) Metal Slug 1st Mission (Neo Geo Pocket) A full run through/review time for all the old football games (PS1 & PS2 mainly) Abe's Oddysee (PS1) Stellaris (PC)
  24. Probably the best game on the Game Boy. A great game...but when you see how people have completed the world records on it, people really started to take Mario Kart to the next level in this one. I won't be paying extra for the access as I'm lucky that I still have my GameBoy and Advance SP.
