This was a great deal but just in case anyone missed this, its still only £11.99 from Currys for a Phyiscal copy. I think Cal @TheMuggySpud , James @Lurch and Mart @Findmartin picked it up too now?

Nice guys! The heart run for me is one of the most painful ones because you can wipe a hell of a lot, even with a well oiled team. Everyone has to play their part in that bit and I must admit, I always get lost when it gets back to the Vault room and whether to turn left or right. That's mainly because trying to stay alive at that point is usually my key part. Also, I'm pretty sure if you have to more than one person left to take the heart before you go down the hole to where you put the heart, don't go down. Apparently it doesn't like it so wait until you get teleported so the heart doesnt fall down and the last person can take it, go down and have plenty of seconds to deposit it. Is that a fair assessment @Teenwolf25 ?

Struggling to catch some Destiny time of late but i've not lost the desire to get it done. Thanks for continuing to put up events @Baabcat and @RenFengge as it really is ace to see the progress but also regular activity is still strong in the game. How many triumphs for the seal have people got left to do?

Indiana Jones Game From Bethesda
GazzaGarratt replied to J4MES OX4D's topic in RPG / Action / Adventure
Not enough to know anything which is a shame but just the name gets me more hyped as I loved Indiana Jones over stuff like Star Wars - clearly my Grandad had a different taste to most of you Star Wars geeks! I'd hands down take an open world exploration game. You naturally think of a type of Assassin's Creed game because of what we know from the films. -
This one was a really good drive this past week. Definitely happy to try with Gr.3 cars although I did enjoy it with Gr.4. Fantastic long corners which definitely test your concentration.
-
Thats ace, thanks @Greboth. I tried to change the PNG files i had of a few into SVG but for some reason the game still thinks they're blank. Can you look to try and get these done at all mate? These were the ones i tried but failed miserably 😞
-
Never knew that. Played it a few days ago but blew my mind if im honest. Didn't like constant respawns as it felt like risk/reward to stay alive meant i didn't care too much whether or not i was gonna die.

There is quite a few that play CoD here @anticonscience . I'm finding its sometimes difficult to party up on CoD specifically of late because of a number of factors: People are split between Warzone, MW MP and CW MP Some people specifically play Warzone and not the MPs Some people play the MPs and not Warzone The PSN Party system has really hampered playtime. Having specific groups isn't the most ideal imo as the onus is on the individual to join a party rather than be invited - which is what most ppl prefer from experience Lots of people play across multiple games atm but that doesn't mean they don't like or play CoD. Just other games are getting good partying up groups e.g. FIFA, GT Sport, Destiny, Ark, etc Having said all that, we just need to find a few nights to maybe have abit of a group up session to see how each plays. I've played Warzone this past week a few times and i've really enjoyed that still - you can get a little rusty after not playing much but its still lots of fun because of all the contracts/bounties you can pick up. On Cold War I haven't played much of Season One but thats not because its super bad for me. It started really well but based on my K/D and quality of matches, its dipped slightly but not sure if thats because of my connection over the new year period was a bit dodgy. Still a good variation of MP which is back to faster gunplay whereas MW MP is more slower, tactical imo. The friends list i noticed is borked too on Cold War because you need them on the Activision list to play with which is stupid. @anticonscience , you thought about picking up a PS4 or PS5? Might help us party up easier issall.

Haha @RenFengge i'm sorry! When it comes to coffee i'm not one to drink eat as I literally LOVE tea instead. My wife would probably just grounded beans but I just don't think she appreciates it as much as a few you people here do, to her own admission. At least its a decent one based on your approval though! The milk frother was the dealbreaker for her if i'm honest. I don't think its worth it without it.

Well, of course you know my answer 😄 We've tried a few times for mini-leagues like this and they've always fell by the way side because of timing and commitment. The idea of doing one race on a Tuesday that is connected to this makes perfect sense in my mind. That way people can still have a good time around that race learning more tracks and cars like we always do. Annoyingly, our Tournament application might not be able to do one where we all play in the same race (its more set up to play team vs. team) but that's not a dealbreaker, we can still find ways to show this off each week if i can't get it to work. As for the guidelines to follow, i'm cool with all of that you've said. Would make it more interesting for sure. If we all have the same attitude we all do on the weekly races then it will be even more fun. Great shout @phil bottle!

I've not had any sleep...but there are some changes made as of late last night to FG. For a change, no long essay from me, no long explanation - go and have a look. Massive room for scope. Just want to hear your thoughts. GGFG

Always down with a schedule too - I think providing we are flexible where possible to allow for people to do certain things they need to do unexpected, I can't see why this won't be a problem. What we may have to do though is alternate this for some weeks. Main reason i say this is some of us can get practice in between Tuesdays but others can't. For those people 20 minutes is a killer so its a hard balance to have. In most instances though this should work for everyone, as they now they can miss a race and pop back later if that works for them. Nice idea @phil bottle, lets see how it pans out 😄

GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Gran Turismo
Well I've had a cheeky go on the Gr.4 Audi TT '16. Nothing too fancy, but I'm happy as its my first one. Randomly, I love that I managed to get the website wording including the logo on the top of the spoiler. -

I read this late on Thursday night and i've been meaning to post it up but if i'm honest, i'm struggling to find the words to put a reasonable response up. Overall, this is such a bummer to read. Hit hurts hardcore, regular players the worst imo, as its really targeted at players that are either a) brand new to the game and b) returning players that have had a decent break. Due to the extensive changes they've had to make to work out how to maintain Destiny 2 rather than create a D3 which would've clearly not had enough brand new content for a completely new game, they're paying the price for getting through a shite period of time where their new content ideas can't come quick enough off the conveyor belt as players adapt and become content hungry people. I still firmly remain in the camp that sunsetting is a good idea. They don't make the stuff irrelevant as you can still use it in the standard playlist stuff, like Crucible, etc. The problem is, the reasons why we had to accept sunsetting was because we expected to automatically start using new and varied weapons in upcoming seasons. Whilst I'm happy that 99% of all players now don't use The Recluse anymore in endgame stuff cos it was getting boring to see, you need viable and decent options to replace it - and they can't ALL be technically old weapons. We need NEW weapons to combat sunsetting so it will make sense. No one wants to grind for the same gun AND roll 1 year later just to keep it alive, cos you might aswell just give them the gun they've earned as it doesn't change or evolve the game for them. The only thing I would say about new weapons though, is that they can be similar looking guns to what we have today. Its a ridiculous argument about reskinned weapons because we have all the other franchises like CoD using the exact same M4 for 20 years but no one moans about using that and paying the cost for it. If its a gun, its gonna look like a gun. Ironically, for FG people I'd actually say this works in people's favour because many old regulars aren't hardcore anymore or have completely missed all that content. I will bang on continually until I see all Blue, Green and White guns turn into Legendaries. Wen hearing that sentence it sounds like that no new content whatsoever but I can pretty much guarantee 99.8% of all Destiny players will NEVER main white, green, and blue weapons in Destiny and only remember half a dozen. There are around 500 of those weapons not Legendary and Exotic. Ironically they are all relevant still - and potentially better than Purple and Yellows. A simplistic radical change but very much needed. And then we can get back to enjoying the reasonably good content dropped in the DLC we just had and hopefully upcoming seasons.

Ill take that as you mean were cool and edgy. Thanks 😄 Glad you got a few races done. It can get mildly addictive as you end up saying to yourself 'just one more race or lap' but can't deny its a proper step up from GTA thats for sure! I'd spend a little time doing Circuit Experience so you can get lots of quick cash for new cars you'll need but more importantly to start learning the tracks and where to get the fastest lines.

Oh wowser. I'm getting XIII feels all over again. I'd have actually got more hype if the game came out like that originally. I love that cell shaded type of gameplay.
