With the new formation we've played over the past week, having 3 at the back means any more CBs would be a great shout. I'm also gonna try GK at some point and we shouldn't be frightened to have a few. We have great chances to get 11 on most weeks now so I don't think its a bad shout considering how much action we see in our half!! Does anyone think we need more just typical CMs or is there no value in having these types of builds?

After finally getting on over the course of the last few days, I have to say overall that first impressions are pretty good this time round. I always get a little sketchy when we do get a Season alongside a full DLC package because as Datto says, if you spend too long looking at what is offer it always feel quite light because they don't want to pull you away from the main show. This time round, there are many things that have progressed and are already showing we are getting well worth our money's worth already on this season of content. Battlegrounds - New activity, very solid. Love how it gives a subtle upgrade to the 'Vanguard' section in the game. Not too difficult but challenging as you go up the levels. H.E.L.M. - New social-type space. I love how it looks. Yep, would be good if it was not a separate loading section to the Tower but it makes total sense why you'd keep it separate from standard stuff in the game. The War Table looks great and they could go further with that if they made the table intractable to show where the next fights you could nullify across the universe. Love how the story gets put across in simplistic ways through holograms of the characters, aswell as little dialogue conversations whilstyou are in the H.E.L.M. Would love to see this develop more into it and the table become more like the Fortnite updates we've seen (yep, they're are pretty amazing for UI updates of late imo) Umbral Engrams and Recaster - Great addition. It should come with an easy explanation for new players though. Like the fact I don't get too many aswell. I hated that the game showered me with them - good stuff shouldn't always be gifted to you in bucket loads. Now this type of thing is here to stay in the game (if you read the TWAB updates thats what they've said), I think if they can make it more inviting and helpful to understand you need to complete the objectives on each focused engram that you can read in the recaster menu, that would be perfect - maybe make it accessible via the Quest menu like Season Challenges are. Sandbox Updates - Like the fact they've tweaked Swords and buffed Rocket Launchers. Everyone uses swords and in a predominant gun game, it was getting to me a bit. Love now Rocket launchers have a chance in the game as they've never been great in D2. Time to hopefully see them be more clutch because seeing a rocket save the day as it explodes is far more entertaining. PvP - Not had enough time in there but I need to find new weapons thats for sure. Also, Stasis, even for patient people like me, is starting to make it suck hard. Concept was great but they forgot to realise that in PvP one of the worst ways to die is a slow and painful death. Wtahcing yourself slowed or frozen whilst you wait for the inevitable final blow is soul destroying. Thats why Stasis is likely to be annoying forever and a day. Gambit - Not tried yet. But its sad to see it neglected. I loved it when it came out. They may need to evolve it with something slightly longer like the Reckoning stages we had as people just rinse through it, not making it a competition anymore. Seal Upgrades, Challenges and Triumphs - These are getting some love and attention which is a great idea. It helps drive people's behaviour on stuff to do. Let's face it, we all love ticking a box and completing something so these updates are doing a lot more to the game than people realise. Seal levels are the way to go. Might try the Gambit one as its not too difficult once you have Dredgen already. Guns? - Good so far. Season of the Chosen kinetic SMG feels great, the new Exotic Bow is cool to use (explosions for Dayzzz) and Rockets are now viable like i said above. Best bit? - The UI updates to the Quest pages. There is now extra detail on each quest which you can drill down into. Shows the rewards, shows the step you're on out of the total steps too. This is what D1 got right very well and there are taking it down a better journey that keeps you engaged in the game.

I only have FB because of the FG Account so we can keep in touch with those that end up as that being the only contact we have left with them. I agree with a lot of this debate. Seriously, this is how debates are supposed to go, you listen to each other and still can respectfully disagree with whatever is said. I do hold Twitter as one of the main root causes to our issues we have today that spun all of this stuff up. Its literally the best and worst place to go - its where we get the latest news right from the horses mouths - fortunately and unfortunately.

Needed a relatively easy watch when I wanted to go to bed early the other night, so I watched Bloodsport. The Muscles from Brussels, Jean Claude Van Damme was just as impressive as he's always been for an action hero for me! Acting in parts are sometimes quite hilarious, and weirdly I even forgot that it cast Forest Whitaker in the film too! I don't know how he did the overextended splitz, it looked painful as hell but a nice easy watch if you love action films - based on a true story too if people have completely missed this over the years.

Hi there @Kimmi29 , welcome to FG. What would be great is if you could get involved in the community and hopefully over time people will feel like they can pop over to the channel. Its a lovely unique place where we get to know each other, more than other places. And if he REALLY wants to get involved to be an FGer, then ask him to pop over too so he can introduce himself as well. What games do you play? What platforms are you on? When did you start playing games? You looking to play games with people here? I'd just add a little bit more and you may find that people are willing to give things a look. Looks like i'll have to check what I have updated for this. I want it to be good, I suppose i'm also hoping to when the game will to persist for longer periods. Any news on that or is that just something you have to accept with this game it'll reset continuously?

Pretty sure there was a Male/Femal option at the start. From what @phil bottle said is that even better is your character's skills and build, etc can remain the same across multiple saves and other people's worlds. This is an absolute godsend for me as sometimes you want to play a new world without all the grind of leveling up stuff. Great addition.

Just thinking we need to capture what things we should do to help the following: Extra places we need covering and work at Balancing out the places so we can swap through the night For instance, I know I regularly hold the LB position which isn't a problem for me as I don't mind people taking the more favoured spots attacking, however I also should put more time in with my LW and maybe even my CF when possible because others might want to try out LB and on nights where we may need a LW/CF I could then play that role for a number of games. So, my 5 builds currently are: LWB LW CF CDM GK I actually think we need a few more right sided players, like a RWB and RW builds. I also think if a few people can have some builds as CB then we have a number of positions we can cover. We should all at least aim to have 1 attacking and defending position covered if possible. I don't have a CAM build because I also know so many people love that role, so i'm really not that bothered in it - i'd rather compliment others around it. (and, yes, eventually i'll give it a go in goal. It would be cool to have a full 11 for a few games!) So thoughts please. We're lovely each session of late so lets talk what you think we should do - especially for people that may be new to Pro Clubs that are thinking of joining in the fun!

So, after some great suggestions (thanks Connor @JamaicanSteve ), lets give Goal of the Month a go and keep it up through 2021. Here's how we'll get it to work: Take a little video of your goal using the PlayStation record function and upload to YouTube. Post your video in the Videos section on FG - shout up if you can't find any links When posting, add your video to the 'Collections' > FIFA FG GOTM - February 2021 or whatever month we're in Once the month is over between us, we will get a Poll up for the GOTM - Poll will last for one week Winners announced at the end of the poll! If this takes up, then I'll maybe look at potential prizes perhaps...but lets not get ahead of ourselves as something like this really needs ALL of your support to make it fun and worthwhile. We'll evolve the process as we go along each month if we have improvements to make to it. Right now I don't mind if the goals aren't within the FGFC specific Pro Clubs nights. I want people to feel included even if you just only plat FIFA Ultimate Team at the moment. Lets see your best in the videos section and if we're lucky, we'll try and do a compilation to put out there in coming months on here and the socials! 😄 GGFG! P.S. Any questions, pop them in this thread so we can all see what thoughts you have and questions you need answering, even if its just navigation around FG questions.

That was my thoughts too! 🙈🤣🤣 So I'm still seeing the Audi and Peugeot be competitive, which is good news, but a few more start to become closer on certain tracks like we had a week ago with the Subaru. I think its great they are closer. I'm hopping to try a couple more cars for the Willow Springs race on Tuesday this week.

On a completely different scale Dave so 1 million percent yes. Thats doesn't mean Darkness Falls 7 Days mod isn't good but it gives you a different mindset which I enjoyed.

I caved. Cos its Vikings 😄 I must say the first play yesterday was really good fun with @phil bottle and @tronic44. It has much more of a chilled survival game vibe than other ones. Graphics are strangely pleasing - mainly because some parts have a slight Minecraft feel (don't be put off MC haters!) but in others there's some truly amazing views. Just looking up at the sky is incredible. Building wise, the snapping takes a little time to get used to but as soon as you work out the Hammer is used to craft and build stuff you can make things so quickly. The combat feels fairly simplistic but I think it could become a little deeper as you go further into the game. I don't think its the game's main focus if i'm honest so i'm not too bothered about it. The map looks huge!! Lots to explore and discover. Theres also random Rune Stones stuck in the ground to read that gives you extra hints and tips along the way. Nice little touch. What else? It has exploration via the Seas! We didn't try it yet but the thought of building our own boat and exploring the map is definitely something I can't wait for! All in all, a great initial start and definitely has legs in it for 15 squids. Lets hope more things to craft as we get into it more. Some streamers are also raving about this a lot too over recent days.

Is it worth it? 1 MILLION PERCENT YES! Black Flag was incredible for me. Great story, combat and quests were really cool. Sailing the boat was just incredible and getting into Pirate Wars was something brand new. I got addicted to the side game on mobile aswell which impacts what you do in-game. I don't think anyone has done a better app that integrates and impacts the game as much as this one. You have to do it Sebba! @ChaosGladiator

I'm kind of agreeing with the sentiment Chad @Riff Machine regarding the combat as its a little ropy at the best of times and it feels like button spam is the only way forward in places. I haven't played it anyway near as much as you so i'm bored of it, but it does buck the trend of late with how large the game is compared to other games. I doubt we'll see many games this size over the coming years as people want to complete them and move on. I'm gonna take my time with it, make it last as I have enjoyed what is in it so far. Plus, its still Vikings.

Don't be too hasty, you've not seen how these go to think you're guaranteed last! Its all about getting some laps on those tracks that Phil has put up on the event for Tuesday. I might be practicing tonight and maybe tomorrow so we can share a lobby where we can have the same settings as what it will be on Tuesday. If you're on your own when your online, then its about going to 'Lobby' and creating your own private lobby and selecting the relevant settings and the track in question. Any detail on it you're not too sure of @phil bottle or @Greboth can answer what exactly should the answer be on the lobby settings.

I imagine the 3080 is the one to look out for this year considering how much lack of 3090's are about?...and then you have the scalpers to contend with.

Mix them up. I'm fine with Grid Starts and rolling starts. I think its more to keep it fresh and also some tracks won't work with rolling starts dude to the fact we have so many racing (which is ace btw). Rolling starts still work on some tracks so don't lose it completely, I trust your judgement on which tracks to do it on matey 😘 Also, I said this when it was mentioned online last week - The reverse grid is a great way to keep people engaged when they might be getting a bit disheartened from finishing lower down for a number of weeks. However, I wouldn't change much else though e.g. boosting on, etc, because we play Wreckfest and GTA where those types of games literally are no rules barred. GT Sport has become the great equaliser and balance to the racing here at FG so it has to remain true to its full out pace and race battling best. I'm not saying reverse Qualifying though as there's no incentive to race around a track for 10 minutes where a mistake is a positive thing. Best way to do this is trial and error though and if we find it doesn't work very well, the format we have at the moment is still extremely good and not broken at all imo.

Thanks mate. She seems to be one where she seesaws between good and evil. As much as this has started in a way to eventually see the good in her, it does feel like she will go back to being against our new 'good' heroes. Do we know how much of the Reality stone materia she has in her? She essentially was the most powerful Avenger behind Captain Marvel in Avengers Endgame.

Such awesome work to get this done Greebs! I think the Tuesday races have been one of the shining lights here of late and it needs quality stuff like this so we all have awesome memories. Great read and watch.

@phil bottle request this week please: First race Qualify as per usual, with maybe a Grid Start if everyone is cool with that. Second race, no qualifying and a reverse grid order based on the finishing results of the first race. @JBR-Kiwi 's great shout means that it brings other people into the races that have been struggling at the back for a little bit and it will definitely give us a different type of racing week. I think I wouldn't want anyone who's at the slowere speeds for a number of weeks to get disinterested in the game this early when we've only really got this going properly this year imo. Let me know what you think honestly please - not just Phil too.

Multiverse is a huge plot connector that if they don't make it simplistic to understand I do think they'll lose a lot of people - cos unfortunately you guys are in the minority knowing so much about Marvel and the comics background, etc. Would be cool but I would not be happy seeing a prequel Logan. I'd rather look at it as the Logan film was just a separate film in its own right so we can tie him in better (I see the Logan film on his own anyway tbh). Whats the House of M? I'm an X-Men noob in all of this.
