Might have a little practice in a bit so I can post up what i'm getting around too @Lurch . If I do jump on though, i'll go into the party chat so people can join in and practice at the same time if need be.

I've kept one eye on it on Twitter for the past few months after Justin mentioned it to me some time ago. Its interesting in itself that this is the first post on FG about it because it looks like a game I would probably expect some folk will get into it. Looks like Square Enix are following the Borderlands method as you can play the game online AND offline, so i'd argue its not a direct comparison to Destiny in that manner because its not really a live service game. The key for me will be the diversity in what available game modes and variety in missions there are. For me personally I'd go one further too as it depends on the size of the group that can play it. Don't blame them not to do PvP as well as too many have tried and failed at mixing them both with Destiny still struggling to keep everyone happy on both sides. The builds and idea of classes look like they gel well. I'm similar to @phil bottle that i'm not too keen on 3rd person looters because for me it doesn't become as intense as FPS ones but that doesn't mean it can't still be good. Division 1 and 2 had some great spells for most of us here actually but they link to one section this game must get right if they want to be successful and a large playerbase - endgame. I don't doubt the content to be there on Day 1 but many people enjoy regular updates to games rather than chunky DLCs - are the DLCs planned free by the way? Once you get past the main campaign there has to be stuff to keep you ticking over. The Division has suffered from that and tried to go into creating raids and the DZ (PvP) which helped somewhat but you cansee how much it dropped off as soon as people finished the main campaign or got close to it. Always welcome new games to the fray. It would be nice to see who else is interested in this at FG as I will be giving it a go - I know many of us buy games because of each other so I think theres some legs in it, just depends how long. Glad there is a free demo (not beta) on 25th Feb which will help most here decide what to do. Whats everyone else's thoughts on it?

I'm surprised you've kept it up, especially how much pain was coming out of your mouth for so long! 🤣 We do need to find a time when its worthwhile seeing the game again. This is a shame but if it means the game gets closer to actual full release then they know better than us. I suppose its a result of what happens when the game is in alpha for so long.

@anticonscience I think you're already on my PSN friends list! But weirdly I can't seem to find the Activision ID. Cold War grouping up with friends is the most stupid its been for ages now because you MUST be on the activision friends list to send an invite, it doens't matter if they're on PSN friends list. Let me know what the screen says as @Dan94 says above, I know there is a button Cold War to show what your Activision ID is and its pretty clear in-game.

Thats insane. Have they cashed out then? I'm not a huge stocks and share gambling type of guy. I used to be savings advisor based on cash accounts and whilst I know you can always make more money in S&S, its always too much risk when i've seen so many lose money. If you have a random 7k spare that you're willing to lose then i'd say go for it but I don't have the balls to throw away our life savings (which ain't as much as that!) on a hope they'll sell for more. At some point in this next 7 days I expect it all to go tits up.

I didn't but the prices are coming down to better prices that i'd be interested in. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 with Music would be ideal I think and maybe push me out more to try and do more runs around the area. I do think having a few more people to do step challenges with @RenFengge could be the right push I need to do more fitness.

This sounds like he's not on the LAN correctly as a 'trusted' computer. The save is obviously a local save so I can only assume the system is thinking he is not seeing the LAN settings correctly. I know this link is about businesses more so, but there could be some sub-setting stopping the connection. Could we? I mean, how dare we? Try and stay in Division 2 and mount a challenge to the promised land? Nah, you're alright thanks 🤣 An incredible start to the night had us thinking the impossible of keeping ourselves in the mighty Championship and then mounting a challenge to get up to Division 1 for the first time in our FGFC FIFA 21 existence. A mighty battle started with FG going 1-0 down after half an hour. The main contributing factor went to Torpedo Tony @TonyAE86 having lag, but not by the conventional issues we usually find. This time out it was the...Washing Machine. Yep, apparently all of the spins impact his WiFi speeds these days. Having said that though, we immediately sprung into life with a bullet from Gin Tronic @tronic44 at the near post. The positivity was growing, and with a goal from either side in a matter of minutes to make it 2-2, we found ourselves with a corner. Tony looking for our headshot king, Dennis Rodman @Lurch ...but we didn't expect the following at all. Mulletov @G_dub52 rounded off a 4-3 win in our first match and we were pumped for what was to come. Forgetting the unfortunate blip straight after where we went unfortunately down 3-1, even though we dominated the play througout, the momentum was took forward to the third game of the night where it was a near perfect performance. The assist king @Macca89 got his shooting boots on and rounded up the Man of the Match perfect 10 performance with a sublime hatrick from some amazing assists and team play throughout a 6-0 riot. Tom @LordBaguette was notching the penalties early doors and the back 4 of Club Tropicana @GazzaGarratt, Sensual Choc @jordie1892 , Dennis Rodman @Lurch and Torpedo Tony @TonyAE86 had a stormer. Unfortunately, previous days results alongside the second game blip left FGFC needing yet another win just to survive relegation to Division 3. A stellar performance with yet another @Macca89 goal set us up nicely but an equaliser shortly followed and for all the tea in Rich's house, we just couldn't push a winner past the keeper. It was worth mentioning though James yet again kept us in the game again with some fine defending. A quick highlight reel below was a delight to clip. So Season 44 was upon us and after a short break and a swap around of all our positions, we commenced another season in Division 3. When all the positions change up somewhat, we always struggle to find the momentum again and it hurt us badly at the start, going down heavily in a 3-0 loss. We dug deep to then take a 4-1 lead in the next game to nearly throw it away with two late goals...apparently something about James making a rare mistake had to to be noted down on the stats. I'm not that harsh though, so i'll just write about for everyone to see rather than stick on the infographic below 😎 Inconsistency was definitely showing again though with another 2-0 defeat hitting us hard, we then tried to buck the trend of losing too many matches early doors. With the game poised at 2-2 and battling extremely hard into the closing stages, GD Pontevel broke forward after another chance for FGFC was saved. The rest was history. Can somebody lend us a spare FIFA script when they get chance please? A successful 3-1 win followed this stinging defeat, but we couldn't keep up the levels we had started out at the beginning of the night and aptly ended the evening in a goal crazy 5-4 defeat. Not a night we expected and I think the results were extremely harsh on us all, especially when there was some lovely football being played and a few belters that went in. @Macca89 showed his worth this week topping the Goals and Assists columns with Connor @JamaicanSteve starting to slot in nicely after his loan deal was made permanent when Chill Ya Beans United accepted FGFC's bid of 2 baked beans tins and a packet of Uncle Ben's Golden Rice. Unfortunately @JamaicanSteve meat substitutes like Veggie styled burgers, etc i'm actually allergic too (not even joking either!) which is a shame as that would be an easy first step. I've worked out I need my protein, or else I really struggle for energy through the day. @RenFengge , I've branched out a little to have more veg stuff, I just have to be more consistent with it I suppose. Not much looked into shakes as if im totally honest, I always worry about what the hell is in those powder things! Now I could do more Oats for sure. I have a Protein nut bar after I have small lunch atm which helps fill me up (although i'd 4 of them in one sitting if I could!). I need to have sweet Oatmeal dishes though, as i'm crap with spicy type stuff. I don't mind baked beans even though I never ask for them with my dinner. Might need to check out some different variations to see how they can bring out better flavours. Thanks Doc!

I was just about to write, that I think its more about how much time he plays on which one the most. PSVR is more accessible imo and with the games available because its pretty much plug and play. PC VR machines will always dominate the statistics from the technical space than the Playstation ones, however PC will always be fine tuning things alot more than a Playstation (not always, but thats pretty consistent with whatever you buy for a PC). It might be worth understanding what types of games he is thinking of playing on it. Has he given you a hint on what he has liked the look of at all?

Thanks to @Greboth, my son has had something for the first time keep himself off Fortnite for more than a day! 🤣🤣 Dax got one for Christmas as we struggled on what to get someone that just does Fortnite on a PS4. He now spends his time split across that game still but the other half is on the PSVR with Five Nights at Freddy's game. He even used some of his Xmas money on the expansion pack rather than more V-bucks!!! Ultimately, the kit works really well. You need a bit of space but not as much as you may think as you can sit down with it. What I would say is you need to also buy the PS4 move sensor controllers separately as i've yet to see one bundle that comes with the VR headset. Strange marketing product design but it is what it is. Lots of wires to be aware of so you need to be just ask them to careful they don't trip up on anything. But seeing the joy he has experience motion games is great to see. He also has Iron Man VR and his autistic side loves this because i can see him shake with excitement when he flies into the sky. How old are your kids again, Clive?

I thought James @Lurch stood out last night after only having a little practice session over the weekend, his times were unreal and although he was unlucky in the first race after spinning out on the first lap, his Laguna Seca drive was superb. I might've passed him if I hadn't have spun off after changing tyres but thats the key - being consistent and making next to no errors rewards you in the end. Special mentions from me for Paul @slamminbones who had some great race speed on Brands Hatch, closest i've seen you in one lap race speed to the top runners and also Rich @tronic44 for driving a solid race on Brands Hatch and finishing 3rd, his best finish to date I believe.

I thought this would be a great way to start sharing how well we thought others did in the night as no two evenings are usually the same with all of us. I think this will boost some people when they think they might not have done so well but also gives us a little highlight for each week that we can think of how others did, not just ourselves. If we can try and get one up after each Tuesday race night thats the plan but obviously if others can help me get the poll up before I get here that would be awesome stuffs. The number is quite numbing really. I won't get into the political BS - my overall view is they're all a bunch of c u next Tuesdays, regardless what side. The only thing I wonder is if that small minority of people that didn't follow the guidelines from the outset, I wonder where we'd be. Its all ifs and maybes now though, so for me, i'm still following the guidelines and hope others can too (whether we disagree with it or not) and i'd expect and hope we could get back quicker to some things that are more the normality we experienced before this horrible disease was here. I think we all need that huge FG meet up sooner rather than later 🙏 Stay safe everyone. Glad we have this place to still connect us all.

Sells more though with the RE tag @phil bottle 😎 RE4 looked fantastic and I used to watch my mate nail that game, it was so refreshingly different. But it was still third person, just from a different view. I saw the following tweet from a game director I follow and it hit one of the critical points for me: The whole aesthetic of seeing your character in RE games, made it iconic and unique to their franchise. Always good to try to do things differently. RE4 and RE7 did that. One did brilliantly, the other was Marmite. Ithink they stuck with FPS because of pure re-use of game assets in a world where people want games coming out quicker than the 6/7 years it takes to build one from scratch. Don't blame them but this is why it won't sell mega bucks. People should give the RE Revelations game a go. It has co-op ability which makes the game very unique. Not the greatest controls but then what RE game does! Thats where I thought they could push this franchise a little more down that road.

I'm not seeing what difference I'm losing on my PS5 btw - am I supposed to see a significant difference? It might be helpful for Tom to know this too if he is gonna get a PS5 eventually. For me, my PS5 is on one and the PC is on the other and initial view is that when we do get a PS5 game to play 😄 it looks bloody fantastic, mainly down to the frame rate the new games are made with (Destiny 2 PvP and CoD Cold War are 120FPS)
