  1. I accidentally walked into a boss fight which consisted of two dogs and the boss himself in an area the size of a bathroom. I was hit the second I walked in and lost 75% of my heath and before I could get my bearings due to the camera not readjusting, I was dead😂 Very tough game but incredibly rewarding and once you level up and improve your build, you can become very powerful and then go back to sort out all the enemies that took you out in one hit before!
  2. We can pretty much assume the PS5 is going to be whiter than Michael Jackson post-2000's then! I actually hated the DS4 controller - the touch pad was a waste of time and barely utlised as was the speaker and the controller light was a stupid gimmick that could reflect off the TV if you were playing front-on in the dark. They should release a bog-standard controller which is around the £20 mark and then keep the big-boy pad for serious gamers only to fall in-line with the modded controller market. We don't even need an over-engineered pad to play even the most complex of games these days and you could probably get away with using a PS3 pad quite comfortably. The margins are huge though in the peripheral market so things like this may be the only chance for companies like Sony to make decent money as the console units will probably cost a substantial amount to make as it is.

  8. This was a great game and it's getting a deserved remaster
  9. My friend completed this today and it took him 4 hours and 20 minutes. He apparently completed many of the challenges and did not rush through either. Ouch!
  10. Delayed again
  11. Inevitable really. Bethesda came crawling back to Steam last year and Fallout 76 (which was bargain bin material at the time) was heavily tipped to go for free as they couldn't even give it away. Be interesting to see if they have improved it to any degree or whether it's just something more for the media to mock. I don't think I have ever seen a game ridiculed so much in my life.
  12. I think a fair price would have been £12.99. They made something like $3.4bn on microtransactions in just a few months so I can't believe they are charging this much. £20 would have been perfect if the package included the co-op portion.
  13. I had some PSN funds left over from Christmas so I cracked, bit the bullet and bought it. Firstly, I think it's a travesty that there is no multiplayer - I can understand that they have MW2019 and can easily put classic content into that (which they've done so and fucked it up the bum with) but even so, it would've been incredible to have MW2 vanilla MP remastered. Not having any Spec Ops/Co-op is an absolutely disgrace and wholly inexcusable really. This inclusion alone would have made it well worth the money and given users many hours of additional enjoyment. Not sure if Activision didn't want it to detract away from people playing and spending money in the latest COD or Warzone or whether the devs just could not be bothered but either way, it's a staggering omission like having a salad without lettuce. The campaign is magnificent though and they have done an incredible job with the remaster. It feels great and the new lighting and textures are amazing. There are also some extra attention to detail and seeing each mission for the first time and its improvements is a great experience. My only disappointment with it is the weapon sounds. Quite a few have changed and not for the better either. I really don't know why they haven't included the originals. The music and voices are all there which is fantastic. I think I would struggle to put £20 down of my own money for this for just the campaign but if you have it spare and are gagging to play this again, it's definitely worth experiencing. I hope one day we get Spec Ops at the very least.
  14. Been playing the remastered version since the lockdown and it really is such an incredible game. I didn't get round to playing it back in the day but the popularity of the series over the years has been evident so I decided to give it a shot rather just watch and read about it and it's just been a fascinating experience throughout. I really like the minimalistic narrative approach and the lack of hand-holding as you are placed into a mysterious world and have to fend for yourself knowing you have to 'ring two bells'. There are no checkpoints, waypoints of saves on the fly - the risk/reward nature of the gameplay can be punishing but equally rewarding. You kill, collect souls and use this to level up at Bonfires you light but in doing so you respawn every enemy. Sometimes you may hold a high number of souls but aim to push onwards at the risk of dying or you may want to head back to the nearest bonfire and 'bank' your souls only to see everyone come back alive. It never feels tiring or repetitive and if you die, you can still retrieve your souls as long as you don't die again in doing so. The level and world design is some of the most varied and unique I have ever seen with endless secrets and mystery. Learning each area, how many enemies there are and simply the layout of the lands is just so satisfying. The controls may seem clunky at first and the attacks are brutal but once you adapt and improve your character build things become much better and you 'git gud'! The bosses are also incredible spectacles and defeating them feels so good especially if it's a difficult fight. You can essentially move around the world and fight anything but doing at the right time, at the right level and with the best attributes is the best way and earning that is part of the incredible experience. This is definitely one of the best RPG's I have ever played and I can't wait to go through Dark Souls II and 3 next. The game also seems to have substantial replayability as well as coop and PVP.
  15. Campaign is available now on PS4 for £19.99/$20. Xbox and PC have to wait a month due to exclusivity🙄 Already Russia is refusing to release it and apparently there is no plans whatsoever of releasing the MP or Spec Ops portions of the game.
  16. I always did the campaigns first up until MW3 and then I just went straight on to the multiplayer from every game then on. A lot of players always would just go for MP first and some wouldn't even ever play the campaign. MW2/BO1 were the last campaigns I truly enjoyed and the latest MW one was pretty impressive but the format has been quite tiresome for years so I can see why people overlook them. I did play the hell out of MW2 and finished the campaign a few times on PS3, Xbox and PC but I am mostly miffed that Specs Ops has been excluded more than anything. The campaign on its own isn't going to inspire many especially if it's £20-$25.
  17. End of the leaked trailer it also says 2018 so it's clear this game has been finished probably for two years but they've just been waiting for the right time to release it. Crafty fuckers.
  18. TheGamingRevolution appears to have the whole campaign uploaded on his channel now.
  19. Definitely looks that way. I hate this engine the most as it's built off of Advanced Warfare and feels off. They would have been better using the Ghosts engine as its modern but still more in-tune to the old CODs. I think they will release the MP and Spec Ops for more money when the time is right. Once MW and Warzone begin to fade, they'll release the rest of MW2R for another £25.
  20. Doesn't sound like there is Spec Ops which is a fucking disgrace. Atmosphere seems flat and the guns sounds extremely weak like COD4 Remaster.
  21. Reviews are in and although they are largely positive, it doesn't appear anywhere near as good as the last game. Also it seems to be very short and has some other disappointing flaws. I will probably wait until this is heavily reduced as £50 is way too much.
  22. Anyone know the price?
  23. Although the visuals are pretty spectacular in places, the lighting and overall affects are quite bland I found. It's also a much brighter and colourful game that 2016, Doom 3 and the classics. I did find a lot of the core elements associated with Doom missing from Eternal which is why it felt totally off for me.
  24. I hate losing downloads especially when it's porn.
