  1. Valorant seems to have gotten off to quite a mediocre start and hasn't really set the world alight. I can't believe I missed this video - has over 1.6m views and corroborates my concerns I was having when I went to install it
  2. I'm all for these mini consoles coming back but I think Sega have gone a little too far especially for something that's handheld
  3. I remember when Treyarch used to be the big innovator in Call of Duty - now they just recycle the Black Ops brand and the usual suspects of maps over and over and I'm getting sick of it. I wouldn't care if we got Summit, Nuketown and Firing Range for the 100th time but how about give me 15 NEW maps on top also? I'm not the biggest fan of MW2019 and IW made so many mistakes in its design but my god did they at least try and do something different and take the series further. Treyarch on the other hand do nothing now - 3 fucking years working on Black Ops 4 and we didn't even get a campaign. Most players hated specialists yet they built the entire game around them because they completely fucked up development for the first two years and then had to desperately claw together any old shit from the BO3 SDK and then brand it a new game. Let's not forget, Treyarch were brought forward to replace Sledeghammer on this one so they have even less time to concoct something. They did do their best work on 18 month to two year cycles though back in the day so maybe they will have more time to be focused now than a 3 year window to try too hard and mess it up. Either way, I can't believe we'll be getting another Black Ops game - I'd happily take a re-imagining of the original especially 10 years on but we're more likely to get another cartoony type game with recycled assets and painfully old ideas.
  4. I don't understand the concept of giving already rich people even more money. Some of them make a shitload through adverts and then they have a daily tips goal of about $1000 which is cracked within an hour. There are some horrendous e-beggars of Twitch - WingsofRedemption for one who is the fattest, laziest and most vile slob out there. I've never seen someone so toxic - he's trolled relentlessly but he invites it most of the time and it's what makes him money. DarkSydePhil is the other one - he is $500,000 in debt with multiple credit cards and blew $40,000 on the WWE Champions Mobile game and still people donate!? Neither one of those appreciate the support they get or the money. I also don't understand the point of Twitch chat - as said by Caveman, it's just emoji's and spam especially on the popular stream channels. It's useful in small streams I guess for relating to the streamer and them engaging more directly with the audience but spamming emoji's is like talking to a brick wall. There's also these 'simps' who give away all their money to 'thots' which I find hilarious but sad. Another thing people don't know is that these big Streamers are paid to play games most of the time - they may pretend like they've made a choice to play X on that particular night but actually the publisher has pretty much put a schedule in stone and giving them $50,000 a night for playing their game for 6 hours.
  5. I absolutely love the transition from before prison in 1945 to when you come out in the early 1950's post-war. It's actually one of the most smartest and immersive inclusions I've ever seen in a game and some things aren't even noticeable. In the 40's it's snowy, the cars are old, the music is slow, the shops are barren and the vibe in the city is quiet. Coming out and there's no snow, the war is over, cars are more flashy, new shops, billboards are updated, new buildings, people are dressed differently, the music is new and funky and the city is much more lively. It's really well done. Mafia 2 takes around 11-13 hours usually which is a bit of a shame. It's amazing in that time but 5 more chapters would have been welcome and the latter stages do feel a bit rushed.
  6. Mafia 2: Definitive Edition
  7. Sea of Thieves has sneaked its way to launch on Steam for £34.99.
  8. Taken from Half Life 2: The Lost Coast Add-On - 15 years and still better looking than some games we see today
  9. Went to install the game earlier and found that the anti-cheat consists of a kernal driver rootkit. No way am I installing vulnerabilities like that on my PC especially when it stems from Chinese shite Tencent. It's not that I don't trust Riot but such material mimics malware and can be exploited by 3rd parties. That's like having an unarmed bomb in your house - you know it's not ticking and wont go off but if it falls into the wrong hands then it could be devastating and you wont know until it's too late. Gotta now contact Riot and get my account removed as I don't even want them having my email address. What a shame but fuck this game.
  10. There is only one debate when it comes to scones and that's how it's pronounced; sconE or 'Scon'😎
  11. Fuck sake. I feel like rioting because of this ironically!
  12. I was thinking of playing Warzone the other day especially after they announced 2FA for PC account creation but with a 206gb download and hackers still existing in droves; fuck that. I played Modern Warfare on PC for about 3 months and I don't think I saw a single hacker but a F2P game is always going to invite these wankers. Even console has them and they are even harder to spot and very difficult for the developers to detect because rather than having the core files modded or something hooked to the process, it's stemming from modded controllers where the output rate of the inputs is rigged and even recoil can be eliminated.
  13. This game came out a couple of months back and it's a stylish narrative-driven cyberpunk game with a great atmosphere by the sounds of it. They've also just added in a very impressive first person mode along with a 3rd person perspective too and it looks pretty impressive and highly immersive:-
  14. I bought my PS4 about 4 months after launch and it was a bit of a mistake I feel. There probably wasn't a credible exclusive title that wasn't a remaster for a good two years and it wasn't around until early 2018 when games really started dropping. Also the original PS4 unit was loud, heavy and ugly plus it was only 500gb. If I could do it again I would've waited a couple of years and picked up a Slim or Pro iteration. This isn't the first console I've had regrets jumping in early and I never learned my lesson! I will probably wait a while for the PS5 and may not have a choice with potential supply problems attributed to the Corona situation. It really depends on the early exclusives. I can already tell the Xbox Series X is going to suffer the same issues the One had at launch as their presentation was a shitshow. I really don't know why games always take such a backward step going into a new gen instead of a giant leap forward. Hopefully the trend will be different this time and I am quite excited to see genuine gameplay from the PS5 regardless.
  15. Real gameplay is promised too unlike what we got with the embarrassing Microsoft event.
  16. Arma III Karts DLC is FREE on Steam and Arx Fatalis is FREE on Bethesda.
  17. Oh Deer, (s)he's back at it again, this time endorsing the looters in the riots and reminding them to stay safe against surveillance so they don't get caught apparently. Another fine advert for the Safety Advisory Council bollocks.
  18. This looks a decent game - basically a real life version of lego where you can build anything and destroy shit Brick Rigs on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Build your own vehicles or download one of more than 50,000 vehicles from the workshop and enjoy the dynamic driving and destruction... I think some on here may be interested or have kids that would like this kind of thing
  19. Can't see what I've done wrong here😎
  20. Yep, too bad you have to pay for them😎
  21. They will need some rigorous testing along with some rapid results if this is to be done safely. There's still a small number of players being diagnosed but if one slips through the net, two teams along with their staff at just one fixture could all be affected and this could go back to their families. I'm not sure how they are doing it in Spain, Korea and Germany but it does seem to be working but those countries seem to have solid strategies in place and none of their footballers have been done for violating lockdown rules. The football league needs to get its arse into gear - at this rate they will still be consulting with clubs in the year 2029 for this season!
  22. Borderlands: Handsome Collection is FREE on the E**c Games S***e
  23. The same happened with the Rambo videogame - that is regarded as one of the worst FPS titles ever.
