  1. I think the key with Liverpool is they have spent big but they have spent very well. They have also lost some huge names but managed to bring in some massive fees on those like Suarez and Countinho which must have been £200m alone. Bringing in the right players and growing the youth ones has been a successful formula that has landed them the Champions League and Premier League title. They've always had world class players on their books over the years - they blew the Prem twice in the last decade with the likes of Gerrard, Suarez, Torres, Coutinho and co but then again they've always had weaker players bundled in like Carroll, Shelvey, Skrtl, Allen whereas now they have all bases covered. Unlike City and Chelsea, they didn't buy their way to the league and have been knocking on the growth door since 2015. For all the money Man City have, they are getting kicked out the Champions League rather than winning it and Chelsea haven't managed to buy the Prem for a while since. I hate to say it but I think Liverpool and Klopp have done a marvelous job but they have had it way too easy this season and quite a few games this season especially early on they picked up some very fortunate wins.
  2. Game looks amazing in 21:9 - may look at picking it up in this sale
  3. I do think it'll be a great game but even great may not be satisfactory enough! The gun mechanics don't look all that great and yesterday's presentation highlighted a pretty mediocre gameplay inclusion which has been seen in games like Observer, Tacoma and Batman already so it's not quite as original or unique as what they media are portraying it. Other aspects do look fantastic but my interest in the game is drifting a bit because of the delays and other things I can't quite put my finger on. I don't mind not being too hyped as then the disappointment wont be so er...disappointing!
  4. Congratulations to Liverpool who have finally joined the likes of Blackburn and Leicester in winning the Premier League.

  6. More interesting than the presentation
  7. Just watched the full 25 minute presentation and I must admit, I have seen many of these events over the years but this has to be one of the worst. I have never been so bored in all my life. It mainly focused on the 'Braindance' feature which looks dull as fuck We did get a new trailer though
  8. ..according to Gamespot Fucking gaming journalists!
  9. It's also been free on Steam all week but I think it ends tomorrow. Great pick up!
  10. I have some funds in my wallet but at this time, I'm not really looking for anything much. I could probably predict most of the prices anyway and without flash sales, there's no massive surprises now as what you see day one is what you get throughout. I am more intrigued by what silly event game they are going to do! TLOU2 is keeping me busy plus I still have a bit of a backlog but we shall see.
  11. I've seen Foden play a couple of times when City visited Oxford two years on the trot in the League Cup and he looks absolute class for his age. The ball is seemingly glued to his feet in possession, his passing is slick and his vision is incredible. He scored his first senior goal against us too. Must be the first time for decades that Man City have produced a great homegrown player. He should be first on the teamsheet for them next season.
  12. Sonic Generations Collection 95% off on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/71340/Sonic_Generations_Collection/
  13. There is a new trailer, gameplay and discussion tomorrow 9 am PDT/12 pm EST/6 pm CEST/5 pm BST
  14. I love British road rage
  15. Dave's just bought a new HP so maybe we could use that😎
  16. It appears the one used for keeping the unit upright is the same one for laying it down too which is good but as you say, it's gotta be in the box - I don't think I'd want to fork out another £29.99 for a piece of plastic!
  17. David Louise has signed a new 1 year deal at Arsenal LMAO!
  18. Trouble is a lot of these streamers take everything for granted and come across as very entitled. Some of them are so desperate, they will do anything rather than going out and getting a different job if it doesn't work out. Instead of accepting competition from rival streamers and that the space is totally crowded, some feel they deserve fame and fortune instead of accepting they may have to get a normal job. There's fully grown men approaching 40 on Twitch who have traded their dignity just to make a few bucks in donations on the daily. With Ninja and Shroud free to go anywhere and bathing in money, many streamers will be weary of losing viewership especially if they come back to Twitch.
  19. Yeah, you can see it in this picture
  20. Burnley's performance last night was an absolute disgrace. Every time they were attacking, even when in Man City's half, the ball always ended up back at their goalkeeper. Don't think I've ever seen such a shameful display of negativity at that level. They had 1 shot all game and zero on target - my Oxford managed 18 shots and and more on target than City in the league cup this season and even Port bloody Valve managed to score at the Etihad this year! Their display even made Arsenal's look good😎
  21. Streaming service Mixer is closing and all partners including Shroud and Ninja have been moved to Facebook Gaming who have now partnered with Microsoft. Don't think anyone saw this coming. Mixer alone was shite but Microsoft and Facebook could do something interesting to pose a threat to the ever-shitty Twitch. *edit It further appears that all exclusively signed streamers are free to leave their contracts if they wish which would see some come crawling back to Twitch!
  22. ''50,000 people used to live here and now it's a ghost town''
  23. Hull City who have taken 2 points out of a possible 39 have banned their very own press from the stadium and effectively covering matches because the media have been 'too negative'. They've gone from about 8th to 21st since January!
