  1. Further discussion which raises even more crucial points
  2. 2K are the first to announce their price guidelines for next gen titles coming it at $69.99/£59.99 for the base versions. Other publishers are expected to follow suit. I don't mind paying more if the quality is there. I already anticipate that the new NBA 2K game will be just a shitty current gen version with its usual built-in casino attached. Other regular brands like FIFA will really need to step it up because although there is room for substantial technical leaps, devs are nowhere near to maximizing such potential and existing builds will probably be similar on the current gen. This is particularly apparent with PC because paying £40 rather than £70 for the same build is a big difference.
  3. Looks wank
  4. *Some Spoilers* I've finally finished it and in all my years of playing games, I don't think I have ever seen a one dragged out so much - it was an absolute chore to get to the end and most of the story in the final third was completely pointless, borderline painful and beyond ridiculous. I have never seen such utter pathetic writing in my life and I have to question what substances were being smoked by developers when they came up with this. The premise is actually interesting - a simple revenge plot where you get to experience both sides. It should have been thought-provoking, emotional and a test of morals but in the end I just ended up hating every single character and the way the game tries to guilt you into killing a dog but doesn't give a shit about the other 150 people you've killed is just stupid. The visuals and overall production quality is extraordinary at times but the pacing and story is a convoluted mess and there is no character development. They all feel wasted and it's hard to remember each ones names. Some die and your character doesn't even seem to acknowledge or care. The overall pacing is horrendous with mostly long drawn-out looting sections and then the occasional combat scene. You then gather resources only to have to do it again. There is very few environmental puzzles or variety unlike the first and with the game being as linear and longer, it really gets predictable and tiresome. The second half of the game is plagued with QTE events and just bigger combat scenes. 15 hours of this game was not even required. There's mistakes, plot holes, ludicrous writing and parts of the game that go off in the most nonsensical of directions. The game was also trying to be persistently horrific with lots of shock value but the emotional side they also tried to include just fell flat because it was buried in all the horror and hypocrisy. By the end, I was so exhausted with the whole experience and so were the characters as they'd killed hundreds of times and been beaten shitless just as many. I was almost expecting another 10 hours to be added on at one point and never thought it would end. This game began as one of the best games of the generation and fell apart like I have never seen a game before. There are a few very key reviews that have gone up which aren't fraudulent like the embargoed pre-release media ones - this includes Angry Joes and I highly suggest watching them whether you want the game or not.
  5. Some of my favourites Love this series
  6. Dead Silence is almost a staple of the CoD multiplayer experience. Unless the sound system is absolutely on point, then it'll just be a mess like it was in MW. They'll probably say something like ''We've removed dead silence but in return you get 150 health so it bAlAnCeS itself out'' It's when they start removing tactical stuff and changing things up do they get into conceptual messes - even a couple of doors in MW literally changed how entire maps were played. All these years later and they still can't grasp the basics.
  7. Here is the leaked trailer that was heavily criticised Definitely not much of a remaster - more of a cash grab!
  8. Nice little creative early access title for just £4.79 released today Townscaper on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Instant town building toy
  9. I've put in a fair few hours so far and one thing I can say is this game is way too long - probably 10-15 hours too much. Even though I don't know how close I am to finishing, there is a significant amount of content in the game that drags the experience out and makes the story go all over the place. I think they've tried too hard on things they didn't need to do and it has actually diminished the quality of the game. The wow factor of new locations has gone and it's been replaced with repetitive tedium. The media reviews were totally misleading and this is mostly due to the crafty embargo in place where only good parts of the game could be talked about and where the scores could only reflect these. Any credible sites would have told Naughty Dog to shove it and that they'd review a retail copy the game in full without having their mouths taped. I do think this game is excellent at times but there are large parts which aren't great and are very relevant to the overall experience. It's a scandal how Naughty Dog have gotten away with doing this.
  10. Bloody hell! The Switch probably couldn't even handle the original🤣
  11. Lots of people already know what it is regarding so I can't see it being anything like this. If it was, people would spout off because NDA's hold little merit now and there isn't many courts that would be willing to orchestrate such a thing when it is of a criminal nature. Private things are never private these days either.
  12. In an unprecedented move, Crucible is being 'unreleased' and is going back into a closed beta Amazon's Crucible is being un-released and going back into closed beta | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM The Amazon shooter didn't get the response it'd hoped for.
  13. The original still holds up today so the remaster would have to have some substantial improvements for anyone to justify picking it up. I am gonna wait for gameplay and more general information. If it's just some shitty cash grab running on the same architecture with a backdoor reshade added then there's no way I'd buy it but if it's something they've worked hard on then I may grab it.
  14. You'll probably get another 8gb update later! Seems instead of users getting plied with 12-20gb updates, they're gonna release them in bits and bobs hoping nobody will notice🤣
  15. Release date is July 27th according to Microsoft Store.
  16. New Ubisoft Battle Royale game to be announced imminently
  17. What I've learned from a lot of YouTubers is even if you are a millionaire and have a steady income coming in; they will still look for other ways to make even more money even if it's shady, scams their own subscribers or downright illegal. I am staggered at the poor ethics, entitlement and greed in some of these content creators where even earning a guaranteed $500.000 a month at worst isn't enough.
  18. According to an insider, it's apparently NOT related to any other website now. Not a publicity stunt either. The plot thickens...
  19. Most credible rumour so far If it was something criminal or involving someone else then it would have been disclosed in the public interest already.
  20. I’m not really a basketball fan but some of these clips were amazing!
  21. Nobody knows why Dr Disrespect is gone and Twitch won’t say why WWW.THEVERGE.COM Twitch signaled permanent bans were coming following stories of harassment and sexual misconduct. Subs cancelled and emotes withdrawn. First thoughts is that it's something serious but then again Twitch will ban for non-female streamers for no reason so who knows. A big streamer recently got banned because they supposedly filed inside of a bathroom when actually it was the locker room to secure valuables at a karting track.
  22. I think the key with Liverpool is they have spent big but they have spent very well. They have also lost some huge names but managed to bring in some massive fees on those like Suarez and Countinho which must have been £200m alone. Bringing in the right players and growing the youth ones has been a successful formula that has landed them the Champions League and Premier League title. They've always had world class players on their books over the years - they blew the Prem twice in the last decade with the likes of Gerrard, Suarez, Torres, Coutinho and co but then again they've always had weaker players bundled in like Carroll, Shelvey, Skrtl, Allen whereas now they have all bases covered. Unlike City and Chelsea, they didn't buy their way to the league and have been knocking on the growth door since 2015. For all the money Man City have, they are getting kicked out the Champions League rather than winning it and Chelsea haven't managed to buy the Prem for a while since. I hate to say it but I think Liverpool and Klopp have done a marvelous job but they have had it way too easy this season and quite a few games this season especially early on they picked up some very fortunate wins.
  23. Game looks amazing in 21:9 - may look at picking it up in this sale
