Now you mention it, I do vaguely recall something about a different BOP for ovals. It would certainly go some way to explain the speed of your Beetle. I fully expected the lead to be between myself and Phil (and anyone else that managed to keep the tow) as the Toyota and Nissan both have great top speeds while you would be nowhere. It's a shame you've had a couple of bad races as it's fun racing you though in your absence Mike has been keeping me company and it was a good race for the lead. The Supra is a pig to get off the line and left me chasing Mike for the lead and, while I could easily follow and I knew my ultimate pace was faster, around Sardegna is was tricky to find somewhere to pass and I only did when Mike made a mistake. A mistake from me almost let Mike back in it too but luckily for me it was as the hairpin so didn't leave any room for Mike to pass and ending up costing him time too. I then banged in the fastest lap of the race to open the gap but damn it if wasn't a close run thing for most of the race. I have to say, I don't like Mike having this ideas of grandeur of finishing higher than third, it's unnatural 😄 Regarding your times though Kiwi, did you enable BoP? The amount of times I've tested in time trial and been happy with my times to only realise I failed to enable BoP. Saying that though, there is some weird thing about different sessions or game modes giving different grip (or something else) as times can vary so much. I think it was the Gr2 race at Alsace last season, practising with Phil the night before and going great. But come practise before the race, I couldn't get within 2 seconds of my times of the night before. Qualifying starts and instantly match my practise times from the night before again.

Doubt I’ll bother chasing numbers too much, I did it back on the day when I was watercooling and it was tedious enough the first time. However, I’m always up for some Biggus Dickus.

Agree that was better than ep3. The post credit scene was intriguing too as there’s now 5 Loki’s together. Plus Richard E Grant seems a great choice as a Loki.

So did I Lee, it’s great playing on the ps5 for the quick load times and lack of dropped frames. Though honestly I can’t tell the difference between playing the ps4 version on the ps5 and the actual ps5 version. As for actual ps5 games, I picked up Miles Morales the other day. I got the ultimate edition so playing through the original Spiderman first which does have a ps5 upgrade too.

Similarly to Phil and La, I’d say I’ve been obsessive about a game here and there. Certainly to the point of all my free time being spent on the game. I think that’s where the line is though, even spending all your free time on something can be ok, it’s when yoy deliberately start making time by skipping school, work etc. Though I also find with any hobby of mine, if I’m absorbed in it too much I find myself through burning out or boredom wanting to do my other hobbies more until it breaks the obsession.

Sorry, wer’e picking Toyeugsan Martin so you can’t have any of them. Toyota for us 🙂

Hey! I’m not the only one that’s done no stop races. However, if pit stops are optional and it will benefit certain cars. If they’re mandatory, it’ll will benefit different ones. I’m not sure if one way is more balanced than the other so don’t care which way we go.

The pass is good value though surprised you aren’t just picking up the xbox games on PC. No doubt the xbox is a good console though and arguably the best this gen so enjoy. Certainly easier to find somewhere to fit the xbox than ps5 🤣

I’ll be going for PS, I know PC will be better but trying Overwatch on PC a couple years ago only further confirmed that I am awful with a mouse+kb. I know I could practise and get better but I’d rather just have a fun even it comes at the price of worse graphics.

That looks good and I’m excited for it. Though it would have been nice to see some actual gameplay rather than the look how cool it is set pieces “gameplay”.

I think we've already seen the beginning of it with Loki being asked about why he hurts people. In a therapy-esque sort of way it actually got Loki to be introspective which is something new for the original Avengers era Loki. Especially given that he also got to see how his correct time line version lived and died.

I vote for the game where I get to murder you lot as much as possible.....so I vote for all of them.

Seeing this reminds me, I made some Twitch panel button things. Not 100% sure what they are tbh but Lee wanted them. I'm not sure they were ever put to use but this seems like a good time to start using them. I'm happy to post them, PM them or whatever is needed.

I thought of another one to add to the list, Amos from The Expanse. The balance of his character clearly having a moral compass on what is right and wrong yet having no qualms on how to achieve that. The "I am that guy" scene with Prax and Stricland I think perfectly sums up his character. The layers of knowing why Prax wants to kill Stricland, knowing what it will do to someone like Prax and caring enough for Prax to stop him. Yet knowing Stricland should die and without second guessing himself being totally ok with murdering him. I used to quite like Chloe in the earlier seasons but I think her character has suffered in the last couple of seasons. I really like Ella's character too and some of the more Ella centric episodes have been good and I do wish they'd develop her character more. I'd agree with The Rookie too, as Nathan Fillion is always a win though I also started watching it for Melissa O'Neil (Lucy Chen).
