  1. Y'all cunts had best fuckin' be online tonight. ALL Y'ALL @crispymorgan @phil bottle @tronic44 @GazzaGarratt @Greboth And anyone else. (I have a cowboy party coming up at work, I'm going to be practising my cowboy shenanigans so drop in at the local saloon for a drink. Or a ho-down, your choice)
  2. This is quite possibly the biggest fuckup in many, many years. This can be added to the pile with ME:A, Fallout 76 and all the other DOA games. I knew it was bad but this really does highlight what a complete and utter clusterfuck it's been. Bioware and EA both to blame here.
  3. Bit shit apparently.
  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMOTHY!
  5. It’s dead. Game over.
  6. Dave is the correct answer and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.
  7. I'll Chrave you in a minute.
  8. That is a LOT of laptop for that money. Bloody hell! That said, if I go to my grave having never used another 17" laptop again, I'll be happy.
  9. Well you can't have a 1080ti and not have a monitor to show it off! Glad you're enjoying it, couldn't have gone to a better home imo
  10. That ship you gave me is a dud, you still got the warranty? All it did was spin around in circles until it eventually spat me out and just sat there, upside down, looking all sad and useless. It's a good job you can fly! I've gotta admit, there's a ton of potential here. Some things are needlessly faffy but I'm sure this will be addressed at some point. The whole experience is ridiculous, the sheer scale and vastness of it all is on a whole new level. It needs some optimizing, getting 60fps on medium at 1080p with 2x 980s is a bit meh but it didn't ruin the experience at all. The hubs are terribly optimized, they need rebooting now and then to keep things fresh. The attention to detail on the ships and stuff is great, the planet we visited was dull as fuck but these are all things that will probably be added and updated over time. The framework is there for an extremely epic game. The servers need more players, it needs music, more atmosphere and more chaos. I'm not talking CoD, but a bit more than there is would go down well. It's a fantastic game for sure and being able to finally play it is amazeballs. I'm probably going to install DayZ tonight as well. I can't see my PS4 getting much use any more tbh. The games on PC are just so much better it's unreal, and the money you can save with things like Humble Bundle renders the PS4s pricing structure and the shit titles on it obsolete. It's safe to say that the only reason I'll be on the PS4 is because of the company, not the games.
  11. Yes I know the watermark is there, ever since I changed my motherboard Windows is being a fanny. Still, epic shot 😎
  12. Division 2 would be my suggestion. I'm going to pick it up too once this encessant bout of poverty wears off.
  13. "Audi Drivers" "Get outta my way n00b" I like mining, and piracy. I'm assuming this just gives you a perk or something and you can still do the rest anyway? Role playing? No. I have had sex before.
  14. Oooooh this looks tasty AND i own it. I shall be on this shortly, next week prolly.
  15. Quick update, up at 4 tomoz. It's alive. Barely, but it's alive. I got it all together but the PSU cables are too short so it is seriously ghetto at the moment with shit and bits hanging everywhere. I hope these are standard cables as a new PSU is north of 200 bones. I think the motherboard's fucked. It didn't output any picture so it got stripped down to barebones. One GPU? Nothing. Fuck. Remove all RAMS, install one, she boots. Error messages all over the shop but she booted. Insert second RAMS, nothing. Then I started shuffling and fucking around a lot more and it looks like ram slot 2 is borked. With a stick in 1 & 3 she fires right up but as soon as I put one in slot 2 she fails. So atm I've got more tests to run for diagnostics, she's on 16gb at the mo which will be plenty until I can afford a new X99 motherboard. It whinges like a little bitch though, because the motherboard was transplanted from the Alienware case it's lost a shitload of limbs and fans and likes to let me know every boot. Tomorrow I'll pop the second 980 in and see if I can maintain POST. I think it'll be fine but we'll see. Then I have a todo list as long as my arm to get it exactly where I want it but that's all part of the hobby I guess. I said no pics but fuck it, here's a sneaky little preview of what's going on:
  16. Painted tyres? Fuck. Off. Also, 6 exhausts? What the fuck? And the price? Fuck me.
  17. Gosh darnit Cripspeeeee! You're right! You dun shown me a ting! I didn't bring any leads home with me but I'll pick it up tomoz and connect this bad boy. Here's where we're at: The AIO (that's All In One for the @Plumbers Crack's amongst us) after a good clean: This is the fan. I've named him Fanny: For the record, the Alienware for some reason was sucking air in to the case rather than blowing it out, so I've swapped from a pull configuration to a push configuration which should gain me a degree or two. Copper block. GO FORTH AND COOL ALL THE THINGS: Of course in able to do this you need some thermal paste, I went to C*rrys and they had no clue what the fuck I was on about (omg currys seriously #incompetent) but at the right time a knight in silver armour and many braces came along and saved the day. I paid 40% over the odds for this: (in this case 40% extra means £7 instead of £5 but the percentage makes Currys look worse and I fully support this notion). Here it is unwrapped. This is more asspensiff than crack: I never took any photos of the application because I didn't want to fuck it up, but here's the whole shenanigan installed: Quite why the PSU is the last component (other than drives, but they're easier to work with than Paris Hilton's coin purse) I'm installing is beyond me, but at least some progress was made. I'll now be removing the Corsair PSU and installing the Dell jobbie. I'd be a lot more motivated to do this if I had a bloody lead but I'm aiming towards plug & play on the last lead tomorrow, so let's see how it goes.
  18. This is an Alienware tho. It’s made by dem gosh darned aliens.
  19. Well the Snaggy McSnaggington came to visit, in the form of the Alienware / Dell PSU being Murican. I only found out because every time I undid a screw it tried to build a wall around me and screeched like an eagle, so it's the wrong voltage. Looks like I'm going with the Corsair. It'll probably go pop but we'll see.
  20. Mkay, took a bit of Googlefu, but I've managed to suss out that the difference is the lighting on the back, which MSI refers to as "MSI Mystic Lighting". If you want the bling, then go for it, but if you're gonna turn it on once, go "oooooooh" and never use it again like 3D tellies, then save the wedge. https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/37156a784
  21. CR and C? Wat? Send links.
  22. Yikes. Gonna flop spectacularly bad. Leigh you preordered yet?
  23. I am so excited my erection is a little periscope popping out of my trousers.
  24. Yes. Yes yes yes yes. Buy it. Buy it now. I was gonna say that curved is a waste of money but that's because I thought it would be helluvaspensiff. This MSI is a winner especially at that price. Buy it. Buy it right now.
  25. Hmmmm. Those character animations look awful, the humans all look like scarecrows moving around. The concept is fucking superb though. Rather tempted tbh. How much?
