I played the little 2v2 arena thingy which was ok. It was barely enough to scratch the surface, but it did change my opinion from "lolno" to "hmmmm, this might not such that much after all". Again like any AAA title I won't be splashing on release day or pre-ordering but it's certainly put itself in a better light than any CoD before it. We'll see.

Blizz have got until tomorrow evening. I tried a few different servers this evening and the only one I could log straight in on was that RP server. The rest were massive queues. Let's see tomorrow, I want the decision made tomorrow evening.

The million dollar question. At the moment Blizzard can't tell their elbow from their arsehole so the queues are out the door for most servers. They did however make some changes last night which reduced the queues, keep in mind that this was the exact Vanilla experience all those years ago so it will be fixed one way or another, it will just take a bit of time, but hopefully by this weekend. The options in the poll are suggestions from all the various sources I frequent: Flamelash PVP - Elliott plays on here, says queues are decent, PVP so you're gonna hafta fend for yourself. Firemaw PVP - Bakes0310 from Overclockers recommends this one on Alliance, I'll ping him to come and vote here. Noggenfogger PVP - This is where most of the Overclockers Alliance guild have ended up but they're a bit disorganized so I wouldn't count on them for anything. Pyrewood Village PVE - @Bluebear is on this one because he's a chickenshit fanny scared of the other faction. I say we all boo him together. If you have any other suggestions chuck them in here, I'm closing the poll tomorrow night, keep in mind queue times, population, language, you ability to move, etc. I KNOW THAT YOU MAY HAVE TO SACRIFICE YOUR PROGRESS SO FAR BUT SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP, IT'S FOR THE GREATER GOOD.

Rightey-o then ladies and gentlemans, I've been floating this idea around lately and there seems to be a fair amount of interest, so I'm going to start making plans. The initial idea was to do it on 125s, we may stick to this idea, we may go a bit bigger, depends on what you lot want. The idea is to have a road trip around Europe, anything from a week to two weeks, on bikes (motorbikes, not bicycles, we're not idiots). This will be: Long Tiring Uncomfortable Painful Wet Expensive THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME To put a few ideas and facts in writing: You will need a full UK or international motorcycle licence, regardless of what bike you use. We will likely be raising some bank for charity, charity/ies to be decided. We will likely be doing a Youtube series. We will likely be bringing on some of the Overclockers folks. I started a thread to gauge interest here. We will likely be imposing a budget to keep things interesting, to be decided. We will definitely require a support vehicle. @GazzaGarratt is keen but is time limited and also doesn't want to ride a bike, so he may end up driving. Kyla said she'll ride shotgun with him. If he can't make it we may need to rope someone else in, @Bluebear might be a good one. In the support vehicle/s we'll have tools, fuel, food, luggage, whatever. This will only happen in two years at minimum, so it gives everyone time to start saving, get their licences, save up for gear, and accommodation / fuel / spending money. The route / time is also still yet to be decided, but the only two places I'd like to really visit are Rome (Kyla has been wanting to see Rome for ages, I don't know how bike friendly it is), and my mum here, in one of the most beautiful cities in Holland: This is of course purely a wish, I am not expecting anything, but it'd be fucking awesome to ride past on whatever contraptions we end up going on. If it's not practical then we skip it, no biggie. And on that note, please can all those interested start listing destinations they'd like to go to, that way we can start formulating a route. @Stretch616 is also planning a large road trip in his camperfagon, so maybe we could tie the two together and meet up at a few places. @Misneach_ even said he might be interested, but it might make more sense for him to hire a bike. I had a wee lil' peekaboo at this last night and I gotta admit it looks pretty decent. The lack of minimap is going to be a big one for me.

Well I guess today's lesson is nag and ye shall receive. Started off firing up the launcher and trying to load up the game, no dice. Rebooted everything a few times and eventually got it going. Found my ship, figured out how to fly it sortof, still got much to learn. I'm going to print off a keymap tomorrow and laminate it, stick it on my wall or sumfink. Whatever. Figured out how to hyperdrive, selected a mission and flew at what I thought was the objective. Turns out it was a satellite or something and I wasn't allowed to be there so I did what any sane man would do and turned around. Sort of. I suspect the bits missing from this image are stuck to someone's satellite somewhere in space. You're welcome, pikey scum. Anyways. Still got loads to learn, but at least I'm out the starting blocks. Might have another go this weekend if anyone's on. Cheerio ❤️

Sick of farming? Here's what you do: There are youtubes about this, I'll post one below, but there are a few things the youtubers don't cover so here's a more comprehensive list: LOCK OR VAULT ALL THE STUFF YOU WANT TO KEEP. Turn off your vibration on your joystick because it'll vibrate a lot. Turn off sleep mode on your PS4 and your joystick. Make sure your controller is plugged in, if the battery dies, the farm stops. Equip whichever ghost will give you the most rewards for either Nessus or Earth, that'll be the planet you farm on to maximize profits. Go to the forge on Earth or Nessus and just before you start it, equip anything to bring you below light level 450. This step comes last because otherwise you'll get fucked up by anything and errythang. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT. Once you hit the low light levels, everyone's AFK farming. If you don't do this, you'll ruin other peoples' forge runs. Stuff like the masks from Halloween are 0 light and are NOT in under armour in collections but rather special items or something. Have a hunt around. Also a few low level items, in my case I had a titten mark at 23 light or something. Get creative. Start the forge, put your controller down and leave it. I came back the next day with about 1600 Dusklight Shards (THESE GO TO YOUR POSTMASTER). Also, Destiny Item Manager is a huge help with this so make sure it's updated and ready to go.
