  1. Asked this to a few people it’s kind of a hard question to word. What game do you think you were best at during your life? As in skill wise what game do you think was the game you were the best at?. Doesn’t matter age wise just any game any age Ill never be better than how good I was at Halo 3 when I was 15-16

  2. @Greboth I'm thinking of building a small server over the winter to host Minecraft on. Got any idea of specs for hosting modded MC for say six of us? I'd like to combine it with a media server if possible. Currently scouring YT

  3. There is a lot of discussion around video games and the preservation of them, it got me thinking of MAG, it was an FPS on the PS3 that had an insane number of players. However they shut it down (maybe prematurely) and it just made me think about games that are no longer playable no matter what you do i.e. emulation or private servers etc. Another that I think of is Wildstar, it was an MMO that to me had a lot of potential but it never quite got the player numbers I don't think. Are there any that you can think of that you look back on fondly?

  4. I'll let you know if he rages about any bugs. Luckily he's been really happy so far...but that also means he hasn't reached any annoying tough bosses yet 🤣

  5. I read the PS5 version has a few bugs, glad it's nothing game breaking. I hear that there are bosses everywhere you turn 😋

    Black Ops 6

Whole game has literally leaked on YouTube the past week. Not sure how this has happened but every map, mode and gun has been seen that will be available at launch. Looks very much like Cold War 2.0 except the maps seem more simple and bland. It's great that there are so many original ones available but it just looks a bit uninspired. I still might grab it and play for a couple of weeks but the franchise feels so tired and the games are all a continuation rather than something entirely new these days.

  9. With today being National Tell A Joke Day i thought why not bring a laugh to everyones day and share your best, let's hear what you've got!! Two muffins in an oven, One says "bloody hell, it's hot in here!" The other replies "Jesus christ! A talking muffin!" Seen former chess grand master Gary Kasparov in the local cafe. Asked him to pass the salt. Took him 26 minutes!

  10. In 2021 I didn't jog. In 2022 I didn't jog. In 2023 I didn't jog. In 2024 I still haven't jogged. This is a running joke.

  11. Halo 3 and the original MW2 was probably my heyday in FPS - young enough to both have the time to play silly hours of it and the reaction time also. Though the game I was best at, probably a shock to no-one, is Gran Turismo sport. I've put a lot of time in to other GT games and countless other racing games but GT Spot was the one I probably got the fastest and consistently fast in due to the FG leagues meant I played it the most.

  12. I'd say probably Super Mario World on the SNES, Goldeneye on N64 and any Pro Evo Soccer on PS2. Re COD, MW3 and Blops 2 were my sweet spot.

  15. I think there are 2 games for me - - COD MW2 back when I was what about 19-20 maybe. I used to play with a group back then that I met through someone I worked with. My workmate and I would probably finish off 80% of matches with a nuke between us. COD I am still ok at but I am certainly nowhere near as good now, must be slowing down in some way! - Battlefield however is my jam so to speak. Even now I am pretty good at the series, with the group I play with there is a running joke that if I get in a tank it's pretty much game over (I am fairly sure I have videos of me shooting planes and such out of the sky in Battlefield 1 with a tank) and Battlefield V there was a spell that I would always come top. In fact if we played today I reckon I'd still be up in the top 5 or in a match 🙂 I think because the series benefits from you playing it in a certain way and not just about your reactions and being able to shoot someone quicker than they shoot you.

  16. Most likely the original resident evil series 1 2 and 3 or the first 2 tomb taider games.

  17. I'd probably say Black Ops 1. I'd often get 32+ kills in TDM, went on a 50 game winning streak playing solo when I had horrendous flu, memorised every spawn imaginable and could read every match really well. It was a fun game to learn and couple of times I even manged 48 kills in TDM out of the 75 available. It feels like nothing now compared to what some gamers can achieve but back then I felt unstoppable on it.

  18. So, bit of an idea, everyone that plays video games regularly has a backlog of video games. I am sure that some of you have some large backlogs and I thought it was worth starting a thread to chat about them and encourage each other to actually play some of them! I am playing Red Dead redemption 2 at the moment and somewhere near the end (at least in the Epilogue though that does seem to be going on for a while). For me I have 2 games then that I intend to finish before beginning something new, trails of cold steel 3 and lord of the rings War in the North, at that point I am going to go through my backlog and pick something else in there rather than buying something new (so hopefully before Star Wars Outlaws comes out).

  19. It's finishing games I have trouble with. If its a really good game I don't want it to end. I'll happily do side quests and ignore the main mission. Prime example is Fallout 4. Between console and PC I have 300+ hours and still nowhere near progressing the main story.

  20. Not even sure what's in my back log but just of the top of my head tomb raider 2 and 3 the last of us 2 ps5 version skyrim VR then there's loads of the ps plus games. I always get to them at some point some time down the line which I'll have to do soon with a couple as storage is against me at the moment.

  21. I disagree I like there is no sbmm, every game is different and it actually forces you to get better, there is lobby balancing which is fine. A cod killer? Obviously people will make that distinction though I don't see it as it's just different and as blame truth said he doesn't want to see cod game mechanics added as they are not needed. As for the game, I'm 6+hours in and really having fun with it using different set ups etc to complete challenges and unlock stuff. The fact people actually play the objective is a welcome bonus too. If it gets enough content and they sort out the few issues some are having it's worth every penny it cost.
