So now that the NFL draft has taken place we can start looking forward to the next NFL season, and another season of FG NFL Fantasy Football!! Laat year we managed to get a few of us involved and overall it was a success, with @jordie1892 winning the inaugural season. Oh yeah, the map is huge, so there are vehicles. It's been a while so I don't know about bikes. Here's the latest update, I imagine I'll reinstall and give it another whirl.

Jesus @phil bottle, I know I said i'd be in to more survival games but this would probably blow the whole of FG minds rather than just @Diddums! Impressive, but i'd have serious anxiety issues trying to keep all the bars at 99% so I remain fully healthy...and then get picked off easily by a sniper somewhere i'm sure. Big question surely must be....do they have bicycles??!

Zelda fans love this regardless if it looks exactly like the previous game. A mate of mine is an avid Zelda fan and he's waiting for his Nintendo delivery this morning. I think the key for me if I want to dip and get this one will be to get over the breaking weapon mechanic. Once people find out how many weapons are unbreakable in the game, if there's quite a few I'd probably be more looking forward to this one than the last. The Fuse option does look like we can get around it a little easier and in fun ways too. The new Ultra Hand option is extremely well done. Very, very impressive.

Quite an overwhelming game in terms of hardcore survival, it would blow @Diddums mind. You have to look at not just food and water but your weight, minerals, sodium etc If you play as a male, you have to decide how big your dick is (and I'm not telling what reference this has to your overall stats😅). It's hardcore with a capital fuck off H. So, with an update out soon its nice timing to find DevilDog video just released today.

Coming out next week. I'm kinda not feeling this for some reason - it looks more like a Breath of the Wild expansion if anything with a focus on small floating islands and elevated gameplay. I think they've played it very safe for the most part and there's doesn't seem to be enough to demonstrate it as a significant step up or sequel. I still think it will be a great game and well-received but it wont have the same impact its predecessor had. I did get a bit burned on BOTW in the end and wasn't too enthused by the art style choice so I'll be in no rush to experience this. Game rom has already leaked online which is downright humiliating for Nintendo too.

Sadly I’ve played enough private matches to know this is in fact fake news lol! Getting blown away by a shotgun wielding @Diddums whilst we do one shot snipers has left me with ptsd!

In the end I went to CEX and traded in my old iPhone 11 (which I upgrade this week to a 13) and use that credit to grab a second hand PS5 (disc edition) and a copy of MW2! Got a great bargain as I only had to part with £300 of my own money!

LM-S Longshots On core Shoothouse. 2 shot Kill at range. 😐

Yeah, I pretty much feel Bohemia use DayZ as a testing ground for Arma. The success of the DayZ mod was an accident. At the time in 2012 it was massive but also very buggy and players asked for a standalone version of the game where the bugs could be dealt with properly. Bohemia never had an interest in a zombie survival game but it sure has been a massive earner for them. There's a small dedicated team working on it but it blows my mind that only now is it starting to be as good as the mod was. But only on modded servers. The vanilla game focuses too much on survival and not enough on the mechanics that made it such a fun and thrilling experience. There was an excellent hero and bandit system in the old mod that I would love to see come back. Bicycles were promised, and they've basically put it on the back burner as the driving system in general needs a lot of work still. The guy who modded bikes in did it very cleverly, it's far from perfect, but it does the job.

Nobody knows who the main devs are these days and that likely includes Bohemia themselves! The OG developer left and cashed out shortly after the game released into early access and then the project was banded around a few internals for years later. Then then began to take a more serious approach after Arma 3 was raking in the money yet DayZ was neglected and devs showed more of a presence but once they 'completed' it, it kinda went back to square one again. It's actually a miracle the game has been in such continued development despite varying levels of support over the years and nobody really knowing what even the next update would hold let alone the future. So many broken promises but credit to a few of the people that worked on the game for actually picking up the slack and turning it around to a degree.

The Cronen Squall and M13b are gold. The M13b is a peashooter, worst Auto gun in the game imo. Give me the Bas-P anyday over the M13b.

I did most of my longshots in HC, SMG's in particular are the most vital in HC. Funny as you mention the LM-S, I did the longshots for that in core Shoothouse. Along the wall which is up to 60m, it's actually a 2 shot Kill unless you hit head. It was quite frustrating, I have footage of it somewhere in my archives. I will post it here at some point. It's actually me doing pretty well, but many kills were 2 shots and you can see it. I would imagine some of the other guns or Marksmans are the same. Probably once you hit past I would say 42-50m range it turns to a 2 shot even in HC. Then all the Autos add another bullet also. There is definitely a dropoff for damage range even in HC.

Since my post, I’ve finished the shotguns. I’ve gone back to the Broadside to get the longshots. I’ve also got gold on all the LMG’s. Some were easy as I only needed mounted kills or such but I had ranked up some had to play with a number of games to unlock the challenges. I’ve almost done the LM-S too and just need the 3 kills now. Then all marksman rifles will be gold too. I definitely think Hardcore is the way to go for longshots. As many guns accuracy sucks that longshots in core would be a pain.

Pistols are easy and Shotguns for longshots. I was lucky enough there was a Hardcore Shipment about when I needed them. I made it a priority and grinded them all when the option was available. 1 or 2 games per gun. TDM might take 2, but Dom you could go onto the next gun and potentially do 2 guns a game. It was unfortunate at the time Tier 1 had a bug, so there was no challenge unlock popup when reached. You had to just guess. 🥵

Yeah it's 51 Platinums to unlock access to Polyatomic. Polyatomic is all headshots to then get Orion. The Platinums/Longshots are a slog because most people do all golds then moving onto Platinums. It's boring getting 25 Longshots multiply by 51 guns. Over 1000. All in 1 go if it's all you have left to do and unlock the next challenges. I skipped the Sniper Longshots and missed out 1 of them gold on the way. As long as you reach 51 guns. There are that many DLC guns now you can pick and choose. You could even miss out melee or shield or launchers depending on your tolerance to certain guns. You will have to do plenty still.

I didn’t change my play style to get the Hemlock Platinum, I just happened to look at my challenges and realised I was only a few off. But I’m not chasing Platinums and especially not Polyatomic. I just thought I’d Gold the guns as it’s a relativey simple challenge on each gun. But some are painful so can’t see me sticking with them to get the required longshots for Platinum. And that’s in classes of guns I use nevermind ones I don’t like LMG’s, Battle Rifles, pistols etc. As for Polyatomic, a quick google says there’s; 11 AR’s 5 BR’s 9 SMG’s 6 LMG’s 5 Shotguns 8 Marksman Rifles 6 Sniper Rifles 5 Pistols 4 Launchers 3 Melee So 62 if my maths is correct so if you only need 51 you could miss the snipers entirely.
