    What car do you have?

The Peugeot's have come a long way recent years, they look quite smart and seem to be well kitted out for the most part. I have had a few cars over the years (both good and bad), my favourite car to date was this little gem. Had it a few years and unfortunately had to let it go as it had a power issue that the garages I took it too could not figure out. Currently driving a White Mazda 6 much like the photo below (this one is not mine but is the same make / model), and it's fine but I am finding that because it's an older car it creaks an awful lot. I want something new at the moment, something with a bit more comfort and better build quality (like my bmw was) so maybe another bmw or audi or something but I am having to wait until work picks up as I don't want to spend my savings on one to then lose my job or something. I'm not one for buying on finance either hence I tend to get older cars ^_^

  5. It does look so much better visually. Gameplay is damn near exactly the same, and using the dual stick or motion controls make the gameplay so much better IMO.

  8. Has anyone started this show? It's at episode 5 now, and it has been very good, both actors that play Joel and Ellie have done a fantastic job, kudos to Craig Mazin as well for transferring it so well from game to TV, my only complaint is that it's going blazing fast imo through the story and I wish we got more time with just the duo

  9. Yeah i think it works well - we'll have to consider the background as one unified colour as if someone is on the Light theme then it will obviously stay dark. I think it works well, cheers buddy! Its ideal for our Game Hub pages which I've took away for rework to see if we could make something better and easier to update over time. The scroll bars aren't too much of a major issue personally. You might be able to freeze panes perhaps that would help it? Or even effectively locking/hiding all below rows which in turn removes sidebars within Google Sheets? Always another way to look at it @Luseth 😎

    COD 2023

I agree. The problem is that everything Activision do is done to keep shareholders happy. A drop in players for MW2 will mean a drop in income. So rather than trying to get those players back they will have just looked at what makes them the most money, and that's when they release a new game.

  14. I recently picked up this entire trilogy on Xbox Series X for $15 a few weeks back, and for the most part, going back and playing the remastered versions of the first 2 games was a hit and miss experience. Darksiders: Warmasters Edition is a remaster of the first game and it runs silky smooth at 60fps with a nice touch up visually. It plays much like a classic Zelda game with a more mature tone, and I've replayed the original quite a few times when it initially released. Great gameplay that remains the same and didn't disappoint. Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is a buggy, glitchy mess that I couldn't finish due to a game breaking bug I ran into late in the game. For some reason, this "remaster" didn't have any kind of graphical enhancement that I noticed, and for some reason was locked at 30fps. WTF? Funny thing is, if I popped the original 360 version in my Series X or played Digitally, that version would run at 60 fps on the X. So how the fuck did they not get this working on a remastered version? I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it, but my advice? Play the original 360/PS3 release. This "remaster" is utter fucking garbage. Darksiders 3 was recently released not that long ago, and still plays really well. They decided to go with the souls-like experience with this one, but the game gives you the option of playing in the previous installments hack & slash style if you'd like to. I've just started this one again, and it also runs at 60fps with some great gameplay and a decent story. The souls aspect isn't that big of a game breaker as the parry dodging is fairly generous. All in all, this is a great series that had one remastered speed bump with the second game. Like i said, play the original version of that, but I'll highly recommend the first one for those looking for a zelda like experience, and the 3rd if you want a souls-like to pass your time.

I played the demo tonight and instantly fell in love with the game. There's a lot of little references to imagery from The Messenger that had me geeking the fuck out. It definetly reminds me of Chrono Trigger, but you can tell they still have some work to do. I can't wait for the full release!!

  19. Currently sitting at 94 on Meta and the original was 97! May give this a go again on Dolphin using Primehack as it would be nice to play the OG with a mouse and keyboard. The only bad I remember from the original were the weird controls which seemed quite archaic like Goldeneye yet this was in an era where we were getting used to slick games like Half Life, Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 so going back to such a vastly different control scheme I really struggled to adjust with yet the game itself was amazing especially considering the lame power the Gamecube had.

  20. I loved it on GameCube, but I gave my Switch to my 6 and 7 year old nephews recently so won't get to enjoy this. Looks like a nice remaster!

  21. I've got to check to be honest. Annoyingly, a lot of us couldn't get on after one of the later updates to Minecraft on PSN. Strange because PC wise some people could get on still. We've got a huge communal place we've built and it would've been ace to link it all together somehow. I'll check over the next few days but feel free to see if you can use the Friend Code that @Misneach_ posted early in this thread.

  23. I recently came across this topic and had very mixed feelings about it. Personally I think it's a bad thing and will have negative effects on beauty standards (which are already out the window for women). The AI models will continue to become even more unachievable for women and corrupt the idea of beauty for men. What are you thoughts?

  26. It's becoming a thing very quickly I think, the technology is advancing so fast. I've already seen AI models on Instagram and YouTube. You can normally tell but because they're based off real images of people sometimes it's really hard to decipher what real and what's not.

  27. How would people enjoy a place where we could see your statistics from certain games e.g. Destiny 2 whereby we can show information regarding your specific scores such as Triumphs, K/D, hours wasted, etc. This could extend to the key games that FG players all play. It could be dependent on accessing the game data in some way (some developers allow their data to be accessed via API) but could be something we can update on a regular basis. Weekly or maybe more often IF we can find the time to regularly get an update going. I'd like to know your interest. Its something i've always wanted to have up here as yet another way to look at each others scores in leaderboards that we all like to chase and see how we all fair up against each other. Shoot any comments below please on your thoughts. View full suggestion

  28. I think any game manually or certain games that the stats and info is available automatically. Like Lee was saying, plenty of games aren't willing to share various stats or have them readily available.

  36. So we didn't lose out on some activities through the night, I've booked the following and we can rotate whoever comes to play some games (I'm not bothered what i do too much as I'm just happy to meet up again for a beer or two!) Beer Pong (max 8, 60 mins ) - 7.15pm American Pool (max 6, 30 mins) - 8pm Augmented Reality Darts (max 8, 60 mins) - 8.45pm Shuffleboard (max 6, 60 mins) - 9.30pm As you can see, a few crossovers but I think that be good for everyone through the night as we'll be talking too and whatnot.

    COD 2023

Would be a shame if so, first COD I have bought in years and if there is a lack of support / content I may not bother getting the next one until a substantial price drop. I am the sort that if I get burnt with a game when buying it, it leaves a sour taste for any future games. I have played Battlefield for years but the way this latest one was handled means I won't buy one on launch again, if this is how they handle COD it might be another 10 years before I try the series again.

    COD 2023

If they are gunning to release the MW2 DLC Expansion as MW3 now, it makes you wonder what the rest of the support will be like for MW2 this year. They may very well hold any original content back, and half-ass it even more. If the leaks are true from the ever-reputable Tom Henderson then it will be a painfully desperate and almost embarrassing move for the franchise releasing back to back MW titles in these circumstances. It'll be one title failing of their own doing and then they want another £70 crack from users to try again. There is literally nothing majorly wrong with MW2 apart from the support so abandoning it for a knee-jerk sequel will definitely not sit well with the community.

  42. I also really like the choice of control schemes. Dual stick, classic, hybrid (Classic/dual stick mix) and motion. After playing with motion controls in the trilogy collection from the Wii, I think that'll be my go-to for this one. Playing dual stick with the joy-cons absolutely sucks.

  45. The only issues I have had with the camera is if there is a roof on a structure, you can't see your character then which is a pain in a couple of instances where you have to go inside somewhere with a roof and speak to someone (because you can't see either of you). The two games, there is a single player story mode, in the first game it is broken up into chapters and you have objectives in each. The second game is just more of the same but developed somewhat, the co op comes in two forms I think, the first is an open sandbox mode, the second is that you can invite people into your story world once you get to a certain point (but I think it is limited for them so they can't make or destroy what you have already built but I am not certain on that as I have only a brief forray into it so far). If you have ps plus premium it is on there for free (not sure if you do Lee).

  48. This was always a manual element to start with and probably for a quite a while until we upgrade the site to a better performing one. We'd need some more proper tech heads in here to get APIs working! You never know in the future though...aim high and all that jazz!
    1 point
  49. Sounds like something that will use a TON of server resources as it'll need to ping the APIs of various sites a few times a day, for every user. If it's configurable to do it say once a day then it'd probably be ok but then the info would also only update once a day. I think we need to trim some of the fat and unused stuff first, the forum's slow AF lately.
