Thanks for updating the table, it's good to see where we all stand 🙂 I'm happy to miss next week as the TV I'll be bringing is the one off my rig. So it means I could take off the frame while I'm off on Thursday rather than needing to rush Friday morning. It's things like this that make me think you race like I do by being more competitive when you're not thinking about driving. As the more you practise the more you seem to think about it and cock it up. Whatever though, it's great to see you topping the table and fighting for podiums most weeks 🙂

Now that is a surprise for me, and probably else to see! I'm glad I've had a little more consistency so far - weirdly when I've had less time to practice and think about it as i'm racing home from footy training! We'll see how it goes though as I know the lowest 4 scores will be removed by the end of it. This is a great shout...probably should spend time with the wife, kids and dogs before I get guilt tripped about the following 4 days 😅

League table is finally up, and after four races @GazzaGarratt is riding high. Long way to go and a few races have been missed by the main contenders, so all still to play for. This Thursday will be Gr.3 at Brands Hatch. I'll put up the calendar shortly. Might have a week off the following week as it's the day before the meet up, let us know what you think.

No fucking around this season by Max, he absolutely romped it and well deserved the title. Everyone else just seemed to have dropped the ball, whether that being Ferrari‘s unreliable engines (again) or Mercedes initial concept. Hopefully this is the last season we’ll hear of porpoising.

Hardcore will be known as Tier 1 and coming in November based on something I read. They seem to be running similarly to COD mobile which I really like. You get a bunch of core modes. Then a bunch of featured mode. HC would be in the featured stuff. I played a lot of mobile in the last 2-3 years and like it much better than COD on the consol. Give it a chance. If they were to do the frontline mode that's on Mobile it would be awesome. The gun customization was relatively easy to find on XBOX.

I'm enjoying it. A few points: Haven't customized any guns yet, couldn't figure out how to do it and ran out of arsed, will figure it out later. The whole feel of the game is good, however I find the TTK a bit long. Where the fuck is hardcore? Who launches half a game? One of the announcers sounds like she wants to slit her wrists, it's fucking irritating. The UI is a buggy disaster, when muting people it can take something like 5 seconds for the game to register that I've pressed a button. General handling of stuff is far too slow, from reloading a launcher to popping out a trophy system, it all takes far too long. The fact I can both slide and bunny hop is great, so I can pop around corners and pop a cap in the baddies ass like a boss. Or at least that's what I see alot, but I just die. Repeatedly. The perk system is wank, just give me my fucking perks for fucks sakes. Unmistakably a Treyarch game, the maps have a very BO2 feel to them, which I like. The graphics options are irritating, far too much faff. That all being said, I am thoroughly enjoying it apart from one little niggle. The absolute braindead retards who play it. The amount of times I've lost a game of Dom only to see that half our team has zero caps is riridulous. It's never this bad on hardcore however, as there aren't as many little bitches who play it, but there is no hardcore so meh.

Well yeah, for some the fact these things are missing impacts the gameplay, getting fake bans doesn't help folks find out how the game is playing tbh it's cod it's not exactly high intelligent stuff here pick a gun shoot shit. However the crashes are obviously an issue. Now actually how the game is playing for those that can the biggest issues are still the same as the beta, perk system, progression etc oh and the maps are getting shit and rightly so and why so few? Apart from the glaring ommisions and maps everyone knew most of this crap during the beta. Footsteps to me will always be annoying, mostly because I hate hearing my own. Also this is the first cod I feel I have to wear my headset.

Well they are calling this the pre-season until November when the lauch WZ 2.0 and the game pass. Maybe they are waiting for Season 1 before they enable that stuff. In America, no one counts pre-season for anything. Might be a good thing. Gives people 2 weeks to get use to things and then you start accumulating stats

Finally got back on. Enjoyed running in for the most part....and then somehow I got an infection. FUCK! Tried my best to keep running so far through the woods to get up to Carl @TurboR56Mini as he had some tetro...dffdkcjvbugvchjbsdsddsk pills or whatever you call them, but La @RenFengge advised me that if you have it too long Stage 2 kicks in and then i'm on the slow path to no way back. However, I thought I lucked out as I was going to Gorka and stumbled upon a Hospital! What are the chances, eh? But then what are the chances of the Hospital having any tetro...,sdfhdfuhdciudhcbcy pills? Charcoal tablets galore, surgical gloves and a way to get my blood out if i wanted....but no tetro....you get the jist. I opened the door and Zimbies were right outside, so trying to battle through so I could start my pessimistic run to Carl, I got battered and knocked out. Waking up in a daze, with pretty much no health, I thought I would try one last attempt to get healthy...by removing a bag of my own blood, combining with an IV kit, and then giving myself a transfusion back into myself. Yes, I am that stupid, but hoped it would glitch out my stupid infection. Alas, it did not. I was dead. 2nd life rolling, I got a great spawn up on the East Coast so felt good thinking I could meet Carl soon. I thought I would go to the first town to get supplies before heading off. Berezino didn't have much and I just needed abit more food before Zombies approached my area. Next thing I knew my pipe wasn't hitting them hard enough and after playing the Crystal Maze with 4 Zombies over fences and around Greenhouses, they cut me. Problem was my bandage was all used up, no type of knife to cut some rags, so.....I was dead. I really have a problem playing this game. 😅 Will see what the next day brings. Hopefully some extra life and no ruined Apples and Pears.....

It appears the Court of Arbitration was out of the window a couple of days ago so Mercedes's only other option was to convince an internal FIA panel that they themselves broke their own rules to have the result overturned. This middle ground of setting up a review panel seems pretty lame and Mercedes have ultimately buckled under the weight of money in the sport. F1 ultimately has their teams by the absolute balls so Timo and co will likely always bend the knee no matter what is thrown at them. Maybe if they hadn't been so successful in recent years and won the constructors once again, they would've made a greater fuss but this was ultimately a weak move.

There will have been a massive back hander to get Merc to drop this so I'm sure they will come back swinging.

So Merc have decided not to appeal based on an agreement the FIA will set up a review board to ensure fairness in the sport. I’m not sure it’s the best decision as it puts it back in the hands of the FIA to do the right thing. Which I’m not sure they will do but I guess we can live in hope.

I think that’s where everyone has a problem. People would moan if Masi had made any of those choices because their favourite didn’t win. However no-one would have the right to appeal because the rules were followed. Though Article 15.3 to me reads as the Race director has authority over the clerks use of the safety car. Not the race director has carte blanche use of the safety car. If rhe FIA stick to but 15.3 then it opens a whole can of worms everytime the safety car is used. It will become a lottery and open to appeal every single time.

Exactly my thoughts. Let's say it took another 90 seconds to clear the track from the accident - that meant the race would've finished with the safety car still in play and actually crossing the line first to 'win' the race itself! It would have gone down as the biggest anti-climax in sport history especially under the circumstances. I'd definitely freeze the lap counter for situations like this but I imagine it would add a technical and tactical headache for teams regarding tyre management if there was a potential extra 10 laps possible. This definitely would be better than finishing under 'improvised' decisions. One thing is for sure though, Netflix have already commissioned a film..

Problem with the situation was , so many people watching, formula 1 getting more interest than forever, and you end up having to finish the championship with 5 laps behind the safety car…..that would have been even worse than what they did ! Maybe they should halt the lap counter if the safety car comes out with less than 10 laps to go?

Mercedes didn’t pay a penalty, they gambled sure and it was the right gamble as had the rules been followed as written and as enacted at every safety car grand prix for the last 20+ years it would have been a safety car finish. Michael Masi just decided YOLO threw the rule book out and made it up. Even the denial of Merc’s appeal admits they didn’t enact the whole rule. The decisions, or lack thereof, at Brazil and Jeddah were questionable enough. But at least they were subjective decisions on the application of the rules and penalties. This was just totally disregarding the rules for entertainment and it makes a mockery of the championship and F1 being a sport. Sport and competition only works if everyone is playing to same rules and knows what the rules are. To change them 2 laps from the end of the last race is just farcical. I joked in the gt sport whatsapp group that at least Masi isn’t as bad as Belestre. Having thought about it some more though is it too late to dig him up and reinstate Belestre? He was biased as all hell but at least he was consistent in his bias, was competent and did some good for the sport. Since the liberty takeover my interest in F1 has wained as it’s moved from a sport to a spectacle to the point most weekends I only watch the 5 min highlights posted on youtube. At this point I think I’ve given up entirely. Still Merc have given notice of their appeal of their appeal so we’ll see what happens. Though I hold no hope of the result being overturned. Maybe I should take @Diddums advice and get back in to bike racing.
