  1. New season, new map. Two new maps since launch and while both are great it's too little too late for most players.

  2. Probably a continuation of the formula they've developed with Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Unless this is the Valhalla spin-off they were talking about doing. Guess we'll see.

  3. This popped up on my fb feed today and brought back memories of playing so many different wrestling games back in the ps1 days. I loved the original Smackdown games and played them so often with my mates, but WCW Mayhem was another one of my favourites since I watched both WWF/E and WCW back then. I'm sure there was a backyard wrestling game too which was pretty good fun. What was everyones favourite from those old old school games?

  5. Hmmm, storage is really a personal thing so it depends on the aesthetic you want to end up at the end too. Saving space wise, are we talking getting rid of the cases @Spacedeck ? If so, I think you start off with the hard case storage options like below off Amazon. Stores 96 DVDs/CDs and you can choose nice vibrant colours to separate perhaps games from different consoles, etc. CD Hard Case - Multiple Colours at £11.99 from Amazon If you have something like this then its just finding some nice cabinets to either show them off or not as the case may be. Do you want to show you have them or is just storing them the main thing? The manuals could follow a similar design if you want with this colourful file organiser. Would easily fit a ton of manual in it. File Organiser at £11.92 from Amazon Personally, I think you could go for a mix and match approach if most have to be in storage due to space, I think a cool feature is to have 'featured games' out on display. On Etsy, you can find people making multiple designs where it will hold a cartridge or game on show and this could be something that you can interchange over time. Personally this is why i keep game cases and I'm looking into making bespoke ones for games that I don't keep the cardboard boxes for (Gameboy, Game Gear, N64, etc), although they need more space which may not help you in this regard. An example is below (there's more from the UK with cheaper delivery) Cdmount™ CD License Plate and 8 Track Wall Frame Display & - Etsy UK WWW.ETSY.COM This Display Cases & Cabinets item by CollectorMount has 1077 favorites from Etsy shoppers. Ships from United States. Listed on 31 Aug, 2022 Pictures of each below: Gives us more details on what matters to you and maybe we can bounce some ideas around that's nearer to your interests.

  6. Finally back buttons on an official controller from Sony. I'll wait to see how much these are before committing as it feels like its going to be a heavy price for a controller looking at it. Does look great though.

  7. (Moved to the retro section as it felt a better fit) Tbh, the first one I loved was Wrestlemania on the Mega Drive. I absolutely loved it for the Ultimate Warrior. One of my school mates was amazing at Smackdown so I used to watch some gameplay of his but I was never really any good at the later games unfortunately. I did enjoy how fleshed out Smackdown was though. Lots of things to do on it.

  8. I've been listening to Killer Be Killed lately. The bass player from Mastadon is one of the front men for the band. I really love this guys voice. Reminds me so much of Lemmy.

  9. Hey @Luseth I work in the energy sector here in the states. I'm currently in the cybersecurity compliance side of the business which leads me to be on many different types of project related to your profession. I manage a department to handle all the federal, state, and local laws and regulations that are applied to our company from a cyber perspective. Needless to say with all the shit happening around the world, I don't get much sleep. I'm at Con Edison, the utility in NYC founded by Thomas Edison and we have some crazy infrastructure solutions to some of the things you were talking about. We too are moving towards more electrification as our gas business (O&G in general) is being targeted by many different groups at the moment. We also run the largest steam generation and distribution system in the world which offers a pretty sweat alternative to heating and cooling from an HVAC perspective. We run 300psi mains (20.7 bar) to feed large buildings like World Trade, Empire State, large apartments etc. They can use the product as is for mechanical applications or run co-gen and mechanical applications. As in, run steam powered turbines to generate electricity for their buildings and potentially feed back into the grid in addition to heating and cooling. The steam is super purified and is actually regulated by our FDA. We are also currently the 2nd largest producer of solar in North America along with some wind, but are looking to offload those assets in favor of taking that 4B in sale money to invest in storage which really is the future. Grid level energy storage will be the lynchpin in any successful renewables scaling like wind, solar, tidal etc. These investments will allow us to manage the future output for electrification of homes, cars, mass transit (most already are) and more. We are pushing folks to go one of the many heat pump routes as they are the best suited for the job moving forward. As a manufacturing engineer and quality guy by trade please GO OUT TO THE FIELD before you finish your designs. Far too often in my previous life in manufacturing would designers develop some shit that can't be made in the physical universe we occupy. I can only imagine the stories @Diddumshas about shit that that was poorly designed!!! Anyway, welcome to the fold, many of us are happy to talk shop in addition to gaming. You've stumbled on a diverse set of folks here.

  10. Out of that selection I had the Smackdowns, WWF Warzone and Attitude. I also had WCW Nitro and the WWF In Your House. Had Celebrity Deathmatch as well. I think Warzone and Attitude were the best of it's time imo. I remember owning WWF Royal Rumble on the Megadrive. My friend also had Wrestlemania on the SNES. It was pretty good as you could pick Doink the clown. 🤡

  12. Setting looks interesting from the artwork but let's face facts, it'll be another re-skin, set in a needlessly gigantic world where the story is spread thin and the map is bloated with mind-numbing side quests consisting of outpost liberating with x-ray vision whilst being able to climb anything and having no fall damage blady blah. I'm actually really sick and tired of this franchise now - it's basically an single player RPG with a live-service basis and what you see in the first hour is what you get for the other 60. Ubisoft will never make a masterpiece, nor will they ever make a great game and it's brands like this that's making the company stagnate into mediocrity despite having a huge budget and technology available at hand.

  14. I'm trying to find a solution to lack of space but which also allows me to still purchase physical games / movies. My intention is to have a portable storage case or something like that, which will house and not damage the discs. I'd also need a solution for the games manuals and case covers, although I could just do as you see them doing in CEX and use an elastic bands and just store them in a box, this gets rid of the bulky cases and I'd fit much more in a box this way. I don't know if there's an all in one solution for both of these, but if there was, I'd love to see it. I'm torn on if I should get one big case to house everything, or smaller cases to separate each consoles discs. So what do you guys do? Any brands, cases or anything you can recommend?

Price of a pa4 Scuf roughly but way less than a ps5 one last time I looked if that's the case.

  16. Some of the maps look a bit better but in all honesty all they've done is add a few containers, barrels and ammo boxes for cover and moved a few trees around. It's really desperate and tragic although they do look less open and barren now. It's also taken way too long for this to happen - DICE were already working on their 5th map expansion pack by now for BF4 yet in BF2042 they only have about 3 new maps in 11 months. It's pitiful really. I still think the textures look extermely low quality and plain and the game is desperately missing map-changing levolution elements and naval maps. The team that's taken over the game are clearly working hard but there's just way too much to be done to turn this around whilst DICE who fucked this up every step of the way are currently working on their new game.

Excellent little clip. Liked the triple nade kill alongside the movement into specific spots to keep them off the point.

  20. Sadly the planet is only heading one way. I tend to shy away from the conversations as they are incredibly depressing. I have taken steps to make my potential future better i.e. we have an AC unit in the house to keep one room cool where we can hide if need's be, I have an allotment for veg (and next year will also be using half our garden), have put in a water butt recently for watering and with the allotment I'm also learning skills where it comes to growing our own food just in case things really go to shit in the coming few years. Food will be much more expensive next year because of the drought, there will be less of it and it won't be all the pristine / uniform veg we see in the shops today. Sony's price rise isn't really shocking when you consider the value of the other currencies against the US dollar, almost everywhere linked to Europe and the UK has seen a fall but I do get people's frustrations with Sony, how come they are increasing prices whilst Nintendo and Microsoft do not feel the need to?

  21. Yea its scary how many things have gone to shit in such a short time.. we are barely feeling effect of the horrendous drought yet. Half of Europe is a desert
