Yep. Just to add my 2p in case others are still figuring out what to do, I just think its a little early for next gen consoles. Theres a few games coming out in the next few weeks but not much to set the world alight. Only buy if you can afford it imo. Hopefully bundles will be out by Jan 2021.

I've had tons of mice and keyboards over the years, for your wife you won't want mechanical but rather a membrane board with decent keys. Mechanical keys are fun and all but they become a pain in the ass after a while and having used noisy keyboards at work, I can tell you that nothing will get people to hate your wife quicker. Personally I'd be recommending a Steelseries Apex 100. I had the 150 for a couple of years at work and loved it, it was the most comfy keyboard I've ever used and it was silent. Had I known that the 100 was the same board without the RGB and half the price, that's where my money would've gone (and it was in a bundle, so I got a free mouse too). Don't blow the bank, it's a work keyboard so keep it simple. No features you don't need, wired, basic stuff. The most important things here are comfort, noise and typing speed. As for mice, you know the good brands so find one that's comfy and of a decent brand and buy her that. Again she doesn't need 15 billion DPI and RGB, so keep it simple.

Afternoon all, Speaking with a few people who are whitelisted on the sever but new to modded Minecraft, I have updated the server to run FTB Academy. From the mod page; https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/ftb-academy The biggest problem people have when they first start playing modded Minecraft is that there's no clear choice for which modpack to play. Learning the mods requires scouring online wikis and guides, and watching videos. FTB Academy aims to fix that problem. It is designed especially for people that have never played with mods. The modpack has over 300 quests to walk you through each step of the progression of the most common mods, and nearly 100 pages of Guides to give a more in-depth explanation for what needs it, so you don't have to go searching through wikis. Players will spawn in a school structure, where they will follow quests and in-world images to learn modded concepts like automation, technology, and magic. Once this tutorial area has been completed (only takes 5-10 minutes), you will be teleported to the Overworld to begin playing properly. I've had a quick look through in single player and the in game guide looks pretty comprehensive so should be good for teaching people the basics. For anyone more experience, with the exception of the guide and quest book, the game isn't changed so can be played as a regular mod pack. So I relocated from the original blue Man Cave when Al came home and ended up here..... Not great and, in the end, I thought "Sod it!" and threw the spare bed out. A quick purchase on Amazon got me a pair of Cat 7 (Yeah, I know, overkill but shielded and future proof) cables and a visit to Screwfix for the rest of the mini trunking etc and the project was underway.... Off with the old single socket and on with a new double with USB ports.... A visit to the local second hand office furniture outlet with some reddies and we're good to go... Rip the kit out of the alcove and bring it upstairs - the nice thing is I've cable managed the desk properly with a cable basket and (pipe) clips so there are no trailing cables on the floor to catch my feet which is a great improvement.... As you can see I still have to share the space with the ironing board and bedroom furniture but it's a massive improvement..... Next up, I'm waiting for a parcel from Scan, unfortunately already 3 days late and not picked yet, with the first component upgrade...stay tuned!!

So, today I've sold a piece of equipment i'm not using out of my gym, that means i've got £200 of disposable income (a novelty with an 8 month old!), the sensible Mr Giles side of me wants to put £150 into my investments and spend £50 on a PS4 copy of cold war. The deviant side of me wants to bank to £200 and wait until xmas (We get a little bonus at xmas) to put the other £300 to it and get a PS5 with cold war...... My question is, is there a massive difference in quality between the two consoles? I literally only play CoD on consoles so I would be spending £500 to play 1 game. Hence why I usually wait until consoles have been out a year or so and buy them at a reduced price. However, I really feel like the PS4 is old tech and struggles to run games well at this point.

Good to hear man! It is a reasonably good game, a bit more content and a few improvements and it could be up there. Still feel it missed a bit of polish, but given the circumstances the game was built upon I think they did a great job personally.

Squats went well, I’ve actually just treated myself to some proper compression massage leggings, expensive tech - I will show some pictures when it arrives. Hopefully this will help with my bad knee. Yeah it's pretty disgusting imo. The bracket of people that they are trying to protect ends up getting washed with these sharks out for high kill gameplays, nukes etc. Still tho, not that I'm defending these YouTubers. But that is their living and income. You fuck with that, then they will find a way to exploit it. If SBMM wasn't as harsh as it is then they wouldn't have to resort to such slimy tactics. People of all Skill levels grumble about SBMM. It makes the game too competitive for the average and above average player. All the pro players can't maintain a 2kd, what does that tell you? Nobody wants to sweat everygame, it's just not fun. The average player is way more skilled these days. The bar is set higher than ever before. Because how well MW did, Activision will continue to keep it jacked up. There isn't much inventive to improve. You will get punished by what feels like playing Vs Scump and his mates if you have a run of good games. Gone are the days when you could hold your own in a lobby, but have to compete Vs 1 absolute beast on the enemy team. Eventually over time you could almost improve enough to compete. But you died plenty and learnt a lot over time. Thus making you a more well rounded player.

I've been a big star wars fan since the beginning, and I'm enjoying this series but to be honest it's getting overly redundant and I'm frustrated that they haven't progressed the main story line at all. Every episode is the same thing - goes to a new place, someone needs some help so they go fight some big boss battle, they win and then fly to another planet. Oh, and this "mandalorian" who everyone is scared of because they're such amazing warriors gets bailed out seemingly every episode by someone else. He almost dies, someone else comes in to save him. Every single episode is like this. I just want there to be more of a point to what I'm watching. He's been "delivering" baby yoda almost the entire series and he's no closer to that goal than he was in the 2nd episode and we don't really know anything more beyond that. I think I might be one episode behind as I haven't checked this weekend, but that's how its been for me so far

I also had no intention of buying this one, despite buying two of the last three. I don't particularly enjoy playing these games alone. But I've been enjoying this one. It feels really good, and there's plenty of gun viability. I've only been playing Domination, both Core and Hardcore and I feel both are in good places. Maybe will step into SnD, but playing this one not in a party kind of sucks. Most of the maps are solid, despite there being less than ten. I only really dislike maybe one or two and not by much. And zombies. Oh man. I've been playing zombies since the first Treyarch game and while it is a bit different it's still so good. The fact that you can earn level xp, weapon xp, and zombie camos while playing means I can play multiplayer until I get a bit frustrated then head into a round of zombies, then back to mp without feeling like I'm losing progress. I'm so glad they did it that way.

I quite like it. Its a game where I can get on play about 3-4 matches. Call it a day. There's a number of new modes to make it interesting. Dirty bomb is a bit like a cross between warzone BR and bloodmoney. The skill base matching does not bother me as I was never that skilled anyways so it doesn't hurt my feelings when the system creates a lobby of people with better or equal skills rather than hunting for a lobby full of random newbies

For your purposes you have no need spend money on a PS5. It's faster and has a new controller. Unless you want to play in 4K or at 120 refresh rate (and have a TV that can handle that refresh rate) there's no real need right now.

Today was a pig of a day at work, which has made getting food in hard, drinking water hard etc. The session went ok, the deadlifts felt heavier than they should but that’s what happens when you’re up at 6am and train at 7pm after a full on day at work. Each session I will post my main compound lifts and the sets reps etc. It will look like this: setsXrepsXweight for example: 1x5@127.5kg means 1 set of 5 reps using 127.5kg of weight.
