Did a few rounds with Cripspeee and Cal last night. Fucking disaster. Lost so much of my stash it's unreal. Cal's constantly trying to kill anything that moves whilst Crispy's trying to do quests and I'm just along trying not to get killed. Of course logging in today following last night meant that I went straight in to the murder lobbies and lost even more of my stuff, reminding me why I don't play with squads. Such a pity, as it could be quite fun.

I haven't played Arc enough, I can't get myself off Tarkov, particularly now that you can actually escape, which is a massive though very enjoyable grind. EFT actually has a story now and I'm loving it. I'm off work for most of the festive period so I'll finally be able to give some time to Arc hopefully. I've just been to one of the most incredible places I've ever been. It was 4 years of waiting as we got stopped because of COVID back in 2021. Svalbard an archipelago in the arctic circle, the most northern continually habited town in the world. I've been to the artic circle before in Tromso but this place is a 3 hour flight north from Oslo. @Middle Class Caveman if you have any thoughts of going do it, most people haven't even heard of this place. We chose this last week as they do a whole local Christmas walk for the kids and it's in polar night, 24 hour dark, you can't leave the town without someone with polar bear protection basically they are armed. This two and a half day trip had a guided taxi ride to various places of interest, a few beers in their own brewery, my first snow mobile excursion, I ran a dog sled team no practice simply here ya go, we also had snow cat rides and reindeer stew out in the wilderness. I ended up in the background of an Instagram post made by the main content creator who lives their, I'll link her YouTube. Anyway I'll post a few pics and links.

If you want a great game akin to this, the other one I would also recommend is Yakuza Like a dragon, the side quests are great fun, the map isn't too large and there is a lot to do across it. The characters are wacky and memorable and the combat is great.

A brand-new The Lord of the Rings PS5 game is in development as per reports. The project has been in the works for some time and may be officially announced this year. It’s said to be partially funded by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. Described as a third-person action title meant to “compete with Hogwarts Legacy”.

Benches done, rooster done, christmas event thingy done, and on the last page of the expedition again. Probs around $2m in coins, and a fucktonne of blueprints spare so if anyone needs any, hit me up. As part of the expedition I've spent a ton of time on Stella, and thanks to a rat ended up in the murder lobbies again so I embraced it and played very carefully, murdering anyone who so much as looked at me. I think this game has knocked ten years off my life.

I've only tried each track a couple of times so I'll hold off on my opinion for now. But yeah, just let me know a good day of the week and I'll set up an event. Might tempt a few others to check it out as well🙃

I watched the new series and after about 20 minutes I didn't even care that Cavill wasn't playing Geralt any more. I thought that Liam Hmesworth did a great job.

Benches all maxed out, just need one more mushroom for the rooster. My mentality has changed big time over the last week, I just burn through resources like there's no tomorrow and it's made the game so much more fun. Instead of cowering in a building and shooting down a rocketeer because I don't wanna waste resources, I just hammer it with a couple of wolfpacks and job jobbed. I've been a triggernade factory for a while now too, as they're hilariously good at shredding shredders, and I need their gyros for the project thingy. Still loving this game.

I've tried to start the 4th series a month back as I wasn't letting Henry Cavill departing get to me that much. Its been okay so far. The first few episodes have some decent fights in them. I think you do feel the difference between Henry Cavill and Liam Hemsworth though and I'm trying hard to ignore it but its definitely difficult to do so. I'll watch a few more episodes and hopefully the desire sticks with me.

Ah thats so disappointing that it backdates your collector level! No idea why they didn't make a collector level to match the total amount of cars in the game from Day one 🙈 I'm going to give the tracks a go at some point this week. Hopefully they're nice to drive.

Had a chance to play a demo/alpha of this over the weekend but after watching a few people play it, I didn't bother. Lots of reasons but the biggest I could see was the gunplay was horrible with ridiculous recoil. And also it was quite obvious thete was rampant cheating, right from the start. Watching Kotton play it on Twitch was eye opening. This chap sums it all up quite well.

It's made by Neon Giant, a relatively new game developer. The only one they've made before (at least as far as i"m aware) is The Ascent. Which was a pretty decent game but in a different style (top down sort of) which i played via Xbox GamePass when it came out (I also have my own copy on Steam).

So, just starting this thread for any RPG fans on here, I know that is a loose term but I am big into RPG's of all kinds and thought it might be a good thing to start a thread. Post in here what you are after be it combat style, setting or games you have played and you are after something similar and we can recommend games to each other.

I agree, I would have snapped up the dlc had it been of a more reasonable price. My collector lever went straight to the max 70 the first time I played the update so noting much for me to chase there. I'm also at the max credits of £100 million. But yes the new tracks were sorely needed and I'm glad not gated off by the dlc...

On my list as a would like to get, I played the original back when it came out 20 odd years ago (does not seem that long ago) but yeah that's where the simplicity probably stems from. Dragon Quest XI would be a great choice if you are after something true JRPG / old school combat. That game was brilliant.

Its extremely good value for money and then December update (that really should be this week) is welcomed at a nice time. @Luseth, yes defo seeing more PvP now in trios but I feel it could be way worse. Apparently there is a free loadout matchmaking element to it which may mean making friends abit could still happen. @phil bottle, whats your thoughts on end game for an extraction shooter, given the pinnacle right now is supposed to be Tarkov?

Quests all done, rooster maxed out, and only one workbench left to upgrade. @LordBaguette bench-shamed me on Friday so I made a point of doing it this weekend, all done now. Now I'm working on the caravan for the expedition, still on the first page but getting there. I also just blanket sold everything I own to try and make the $5m for the expedition. So now I'm just rolling free loadouts and channeling my inner @GazzaGarratt by hoarding everything I can to make some extra coin. I'm not even on $1m yet lol.

So I watched the latest season, I appreciate they have deviated from the books and all that but as someone who really enjoys the Witcher universe I still found some enjoyment in the series. I appreciate the need to be true to source material and all that but sometimes you can still enjoy something, a new take or perspective of something if you view it as something new or different. It will be a similar conversation happening with the Harry Potter series when it comes out, when you do enjoy something then watching someone change or alter it can be difficult. It is the same at work, I produce a design and if someone then tries to do something different from it or someone asks me to change it to accomodate them I can get a little precious of it. But yeah just wanted to say the latest series was alright, not dreadful and not world shattering but I did think they did a decent job of the battle on the Yaruga bridge.

I finally managed to get in, so here's a last look at my character before I wipe him. I'm actually Level 43 but today's update to the game has put me down to 36 for some glitchy reason. 485 hours since 6 June and this will all be re-set to zero once I nuke the character to enjoy the new content. I'd almost finished building my Hideout, but it's all going back to square one and I'm looking forward to playing with an actual storyline finally : )

Just when you thought Bethesda couldn't sink any further, they've just released Fallout 4 Anniversary for £53/$60 and in the process broken the majority of established mods. They are also now offering 'their' own paid mods for an extra £20. So basically they have repackaged something you could've bought for £14.99 a month ago, butchered every mod in the process - some of which had 6+ years of work on them so they can reintroduce their paid mod fetish which has failed 3 times already. This company is beyond being creatively and morally bankrupt. I can't see how they will survive beyond 2030 even with a new Elder Scrolls game. Microsoft also need to shoulder a huge portion of the blame as they've done nothing for the studio who still rely on outdated tech and concepts.

If they do, they'll probably demand £39.99 for it!

I've been lost in this game since early access, but it's finally gone to 1.0, and it's friggin amazing!! Everthing Supergiant Games did with Hades has been expanded, Improved, and made grander with Hades 2!! If you like the first, the second is even better! This is my GoTY for 2025
