Presentation was decent. Really not sure about the scorestreak system not resetting after death though. Streaks are on a huge tally apparently to avoid spam and to enable crap players to get them. I think this could be a grave design error.

Some more - I kind of get the impression that the content creators dislike this game but none have the balls to really speak up and tell it how it is. Everything seems so muted and flat with the reception and it's clear there are some major issues.

The game has been rushed out so it's near enough guaranteed there will be issues.

I think it's a strange choice to show of the Groundwar mode when most people just play TeDiuM in COD. Should really be pushing that mode.

I'm not sure what I think of it. I'd need to see more of the smaller maps as I'm primarily a KC player.

Really hope they nerf Quick Scoping because this shit it ridiculous (admittedly NoahJ is a pro player)

I've watched stacks of feedback from various content creators so far and this is the general gist:-

 

- Visuals are decent with plenty of neat next gen-type effects but not a major step up graphically

- Storestreak system is a bad idea where poor players can benefit but seasoned ones can thrive even more

- New VIP mode is hit and miss

- Vehicles are quite OP but can be destroyed with ordinary weapons

- Wildcard additions are way too generous

- Some weapon animations when moving look cumbersome, clunky and awkward

- Movement feels more like WW2 than the recent fluid BO games along with the refined BOTG MW

- TTK is pretty good - not as slow as BO4 but not rapid like MW

- Quickscoping is way too easy

- Larger modes not as enjoyable as the standard 6v6

- Footstep audio is good but the weapon sounds and general vibe is rather drab

 

PC gameplay also released with next-gen comparable specs

Tedium is exactly right, hated that game mode since KC came out which is my staple too. Need to watch some feeds but stupid quick scoping is one of the things that turned me off of ww2 originally. 

Don't want anything to do with vehicles outside of battlefield. Need to see some actual 6v6. Graphics and all the other shit ... Whatever after playing against dumb annoying specialist the scorestreak thing if balanced right will probably be ok.

As long as core gameplay is fun and the maps are decent then it's a start. I need a new cod to play.

I think it was @J4MES OX4D  that said it in a separate thread that it very much looked like Battefield Hardline and now seeing it more it feels like it is just that. Especially with a mix of large Ground War gamemodes, they've definitely been behind the scenes over the years taking their ideas from the Battlefield series.

 

Whether that's good or not, i'm not sure. It looks more fast paced which will suit people like @Chookes  @JBR-Kiwi  and @tronic44 who like to get kills every 2 seconds otherwise they get bored 🤣

Been out of the mix as been on the leper colony island of Crete for 2 weeks and now having to quarantine for 2 weeks to ensure my limbs don't fall off!! Anyway, the jury is out for me on this one. I need to see more details as haven't played a Treyarch CoD since BO2.
