    Early impressions... housemarque has done it again. This game is really friggin good. Controls are crisp and fluid. Visuals and audio are top notch. Gameplay is tight. If you’re a fan of rouge lites such as hades then you’ll dig this one. You will die a lot. My only gripe and it’s really not a game breaker in any way, is there can be a LOT going on at any given time. Due to the third person perspective, you tend to get ambushed and surrounded quickly. Most of housemarques games have had an arcadey bullethell kind of vibe and it seems they tried to add a bit of that to this. It doesn’t really blend well but like I said, minor gripe. This is truly a next gen experience. The dual sense integration is really nice to. And example is you feel the rain drops hitting your suit through the controller. 🤘🏻

    On one hand, I’m excited for a remake of this. I still consider it one of my top 3 SW games ever. On the other, I’ve been there and done that. I figure this will be a wait and see approach for me. Same with the Mass Effect remake.

    It’s ok when you’re playing with friends. But I didn’t have a good time with it at all. Feels old, unbalanced as hell, gameplay is clunky (though probably better on PC with M/K) and it does nothing revolutionary that hasn’t been done before. I seriously don’t understand why some sites are giving it the reviews it’s been getting. But when I see ads for the game on said sites, it all makes sense. I finished the campaign and deleted it. Doubt I’ll return.

    If I had an XboxX with GP, I would play it. I refuse to spend $80 on this. The demo didn’t wow me in any way.

    Astros playroom was a blast to play. Both Sarah and I had a lot of fun with that. I’ve also got the PS5 upgrades for Immortals, Valhalla and Control, the last of which really performs well at 60fps. I also managed to nab Godfall brand new for $30. I refused to pay full price for that game based on reviews and feedback. I’ll be giving that a go sometime this week.

    Skip 3. 2 is the only one worth playing. 3 should have been dlc for 2. It’s rushed and feels incomplete compared to 2. I’m looking forward to 8, but these new game prices are going to be a huge turn off. I figure if this ends up on game pass PC, I’ll check it out. But other then that, I’m waiting for a sale.

    I honestly think the Persona series would hurt the most. Everything I've read about that series has been top notch, must play stuff. They seem to have hit it out of the park with 5.

It’s a rumor and while this would be a good get for them, I don’t see it helping sales in Japan for the Xbox. Thoughts?

    They’re all better on PC anyways. It does make you wonder if Sony is going to have that “Well fuck you too” move and try to buy up a big developer as well. I had read some articles about possibly buying square Enix, but I doubt that would happen.

    It’s a bit more over the top hack/slash. More about style points and combos for better ranking on stages. Bayonetta, viewtiful joe and maybe the combat part of the original god of war games come to mind.

    To be fair, They were reporting on an interview done by IGN. I have zero faith in anything EA says in this piece though. I thought it was interesting that of all times NOW they'd say "Oh, you game developers have nothing to worry about from us. You do your thing and we'll leave you be." The fact that Dragon Age 4 was suppose to be a live service game blows my mind. Have they not seen the previous interations??? I do agree with Ren about ME legendary edition being a greatest hits for them. After the joke that was Anthem, I'm surprised they're still afloat.
