    I've been so disappointed with the PS5. There's hasn't been anything that has wow'd me and as @crispymorgan said, It's been mostly upscaled PS4 ports or remake/reboots. I'm sure some of the games coming down the pipe like Ragnarok and Forspoken will show off the fancy guts of this new gen system, but even then, it's not mind blowing. I honestly feel the last time I was truly amazed at a new console generation was the first time I played the Dreamcast. We were coming off of the PS1 N64 era, and the graphics and visuals just looked so clean, crisp and upgraded. I mentioned that in a podcast a few weeks back to, that compared to the first PS2 game I played roughly around the same time, I felt it looked like shit compared to the DC.

    I'm surprised it didn't boom after Black Flag was released. Strike while the iron is hot and all that shit. We could've had Skull & Bones 4: Treasure Galore by now. With shit tons of micro transactions for $3 dollar sails and a bundle of wood grains for your ships.

    I was excited for Crisis Core until I learned it's basically a graphical upgrade and nothing more. I'm gonna pick VE up eventually. I may have to sweet talk @Rumelylady in order to grab it. I think I'll start with baked goods. That usually works.

    Cloud gaming in general is really hit or miss. While the idea behind stadia was good, the implementation of it was an utter mess. At least the controller is fucking awesome. I still use that for PC gaming when I'm not using my Elite controller.

    This wonderful game is now available on PS4/PS5 and Switch as of today. If you haven't had the chance to try it, I highly recommend it.

    I've been listening to Mastodons latest release Hushed & Grim lately. The band recently lost their manager, who played a huge part in their lives, to cancer and the album is basically a tribute to him. Lyrically, it's everywhere in the album, and musically, there's so much emotion in a lot of the songs that conveys how they've dealt with it. The song "More then I Can Chew" really has an Alice in Chains vibe to it that hooked me from the first note.

    I've been playing the demo that's available on PS5 this past week, and wile the combat and gameplay is good, I'm kind of surprised at how unfinished the game looks with it being so close to release. The environments looked and felt unfinished, but hopefully, the finished product looks more complete. If anyone is interested, grab the demo and give it a go. Progress carries over into the complete game.

    This one just dropped on PS5 and PC this past Friday. It has a Devil May Cry/Bayonetta kind of gameplay style. I think I may grab it and give it a go.

    Yea, Just for the main game too. I've no idea how much the DLC adds to it time wise. I never bothered with it. After I had finished it, I was just done with Valhalla.

    Damn. Sucks to be Rockstar. Bloomberg pretty much confirmed that these are all legit too, It looks good for early developmental footage, but considering people have been wanting some kind of GTA6 news for some time now, They should've figured something like this would've happened.

    A day late, but here's the latest episode of Dice to Pixels. We talk about Nintendo Direct, PSVR2 as well as a whole bunch of other fun stuff. Check it out on Youtube and spotify.

    This one just released this past Thursday, and it's a really fun "shoot to the beat" FPS to the sounds of a kick ass metal/rock soundtrack that progressively gets fuller as your score multiplier increases. It has a doom-ish setting where you played as a recently freed demon that was imprisoned by the devil. Troy Baker, voice of Joel from TLoU as well as many other games, provides narration over game while you fire away. There are some rouge-lite elements, where you unlock weapons via progress throughout the game, but as to the variety of said weapons, I'm not to sure yet as I've only reached the second area of the game. Gameplay is really fast and fluid, especially on PS5 in resolution mode. I'd imagine the same would be said for a top end PC and series X. I'll be getting into it a bit more over the weekend, but this has been one that @Rumelylady and myself have been looking forward to for quite some time.

    I'm at the 75% cleared mark in this game, and I just have no desire to finish it. Such a shame. Anyone want a cheap (FREE) PS% copy of Saints Row 2022? 😂ðŸĪŠ
