  1. This one dropped near the end of November, and it almost feels like a Western, vampire slaying God of War 2018 kinda game. The action is paced roughly the same as the new GoW series, with the exception of not being in an open world. Instead, you run a series of missions, in which, you can find a host of collectibles scattered about. It's been a fun go of it, but it feels really dated. I almost feel like if this released during the early 360/ps3 era, it would've been one of the most talked about games. I'd wait for a price sale though. I think this one will be a freebie at some point considering it's not a AAA studio/publisher. But, It's one that'll be fun playing through.
  2. I might have to pick this up and some point. Every time I tried to get into it, something else released that took my attention for long periods of time. Maybe now, I can get into it proper.
  3. The full release launched a few months back and now, some new DLC released for this one on the 15th. This game is seriously worth it and possibly a GoTY candidate for a lot of people. Such an easy concept that just feels really fun to play.
  4. Man, there have been so many. I really liked the Dreamcast VMU memory cards. At the time, I thought those were amazing little additions that doubled in some cases as a portable game. Damn near every namco controller they made for a ridge racer or rage racer game. the R4 controller Jogcon was really weird to use. I agree with @J4MES OX4D on Game Boy accessories. Those were a necessity in a lot of cases.
  5. Ok, I'm really enjoying this game. It's still got me laughing and chuckling along as I fight my way through each bounty mission. I picked up my second living gun, which is a shotgun/disc launcher that can create platforms in hot wall areas. I also just got a Series X, so running this on that is silky smooth too.
  6. Episode 24 is LIVE!!! Some new games have caught our attention, like High on Life and Evil West. We also discuss collectors editions yay or nay and some other fun stuff!
  7. I played through the intro/prologue last night. I gotta say, that intro had me laughing my ass off. Aside from that, the shooting seems fairly generic. It’s nothing I’d say is revolutionary, but the controls are pretty tight.
  8. This one dropped today on PC, Xbox and Game Pass. An interesting FPS by the creators of Rick and Morty. I downloaded it and I'll give it a go tonight but it's been receiving some mixed reviews so far. It's been called a "sloppy shooter" or "generic shooter" and the humour bits are either hit or miss depending on the player. Thank god it's on GP then. Lol
  9. I really have to give this a go at some point. It's one of those games that I'm interested in, but also a little turned off by the survivor aspects of it. Maybe I'm just weird. Lol.
  10. Wtf?!?!? 🤯 I’m blown away by this! I’m sitting here trying to figure out what to type and I’m just lost for words. Thank you @GazzaGarrattand FG for this. I’m honoured! You all rock!! 🤘🏻
  11. A demo for this popped up during the Game Awards for the PS5, so I gave it a go. The world looks really beautiful and the magical combat is really fun to utilize. There's a "magical parkour" movement system that basically propels you over obstacles while holding the circle button while dashing. It's neat, but you can also scale walls with it by tapping the circle button a few times during a climb. While it looks and plays really well, the style has me taking a pause about whether this will be a day one purchase. I found the dialog to be rather dull and lifeless, and the game is showing the usual troupes of a stealth/action/adventure/open-world/crafting kind of game. I'll be curious to see how this reviews as a lot of similar complaints are being levied by some web sites. time will tell, but I do hope it's a solid game.
  12. Lets the Vampire Survivors-like games commence. This one is in early access right now and it's really fucking fun. You have a bit more control over where your character attacks and it has a nice, bright, vibrant graphic style that really rocks. It's not that pricey either and I'd say worth checking out if you're interested.
  13. I picked this one up on Steam, and after I had bought it, I found out it was also on Game Pass. Anyways, It's a cool looking JRPG that gave me some Chrono Trigger kind of vibes when I first checked out the trailer. I started a new game tonight and they throw a lot of info, gameplay/systems wise, at you right out of the gate. should be an interesting romp if you're into classic JRPGs.
  14. Epsiode 23 is LIVE!! We discuss the Game Awards, pros and cons, and what are thoughts were on the winners.
  15. I'd really like a full blown CTR sequel. I'll keep an eye on this one. I agree that this could be a good FG friday game. I just hope it doesn't suck.
  16. Oooooh! I love this game. I'll be looking forward to this update. 🤘🏻
  17. With this being a PS Plus freebie, I may have to replay this series over the Christmas holidays. It's a shame there's no MP in 3 anymore. That was really one of the best parts about it.
  18. The Iki Island expansion is really good as well. There's a little hook that Jin deals with for the most part of the game, but It's more Ghost of Tsushima goodness if you've been waiting for more. Seriously one of my top 5 favorite games of ALL TIME!!!!
  19. DLC incoming. It looks mostly PvP based, but if it's what you're wanting, then YAY!! Elden Ring Gets Free Colosseum PVP DLC After Months Of Fans Begging KOTAKU.COM Days before The Game Awards, FromSoftware has finally dropped the long-awaited DLC announcement
  20. The turret levels.... Fuck. those. I agree with 2 being the better game. Shame they shit the bed with 3.
  21. Welcome to FG 🤘🏻
  22. Episode 22 is LIVE!!! We talk about some choice decisions by Wyrmwood, a decent selection of freebies for PS Plus in December, Grounded, and my choice of games while I've been home sick all week.
  23. I knew Biomutant would be a freebie the moment it released. It's pretty decent now, and going through the ME series again could be fun. DKO may be another surprise hit. Who knows.
  24. For story context, Playing the first one helps. But, they do have a god of war recap as a selection in the menus before you start a game. It's really up to the individual.
  25. I finished this last night and got the platinum trophy this morning. As with the first one, it was one hell of a ride. Yes, some parts I felt could have been fleshed out more, but all in all, fantastic game.
