  1. Another night to remember and what was even more impressive was throughout the game the intensity didn't drop, and even through their post match interviews you can clearly see they mean business. Shaw for me was MotM, he has jumped so many levels these past few games. I love everything that Gareth Southgate is doing, especially the bit where he doesn't listen to what anyone says in the media or from a fans perspective. 3 Semi-finals in 3 years and we're not done yet. I want this to happen more for him than anything else in the world. 2 more steps to go, bring on Wednesday.
  2. Its been a wild few days hasnt it?! To briefly check in regarding England v Germany, I thought we were excellent all over the park in every aspect. We made chances, worked our patterns extremely well and finished them off emphatically. Very tough game tonight, I think they're ready for it though, we just have to get behind the team, whatever line up plays and send those positive vibes to them! Some of us local FG lot went to the pub and caught the games yesterday over a beer. Agreed James, Spain were extremely lucky (again) and Italy really did work hard for their win. They'll be extremely tough to stop at the moment but losing Spinnazolla could hurt them quite abit.

I came here to say the same thing as they both did amazing laps! And to think Norris was fastest in the first sector and on the last corner he was actually ahead of Verstappen! Would love to see them both score points and keep both the Ferrari drivers far behind them but not sure how long they can keep their race pace down.
  4. I'm like many here, as I don't believe (as far as how I interpret it) that i've been addicted to any game of sorts. However, @jordie1892 uses the word obsession which you could argue is close to addiction in a way and thats how I can be. But let's face it, if it wasn't for FGers I really don't think I would've sustained my constant gaming over the last 7-8 years (you'd find on my PPR, games were my life until I met Hayley and then had a 7 year absence with life before mym Mum bought me a PS4 and @Stretch616 helped me find FG when starting out on Destiny). One thing to consider that sends me a little too close to the line though is FOMO. I do think this is such a pull towards getting addicted. It becomes a routine to not miss out on anything, over and over. Its probably why i'm glad the updates on Destiny have changed so that can go away as its pretty unhealthy over a sustained period of time, e.g. a year or so. The real question is am I addicted to Forever Gaming? Yeah....not gonna answer that one 😄
  5. Just ask @Diddums about WoW 🤣 I'll come back with my thoughts later on this. Great thread btw Tommy @BO7H B4RRELS
  6. The tournament just keeps on getting better. Its why we shouldn't get too head of ourselves, but we can still be super confident of the game ahead of us. One game at a time and we'll see what happens! Conentration for the full 90 minutes it seems after watching Spain and France blow strong leads in their games. Who would've thought that the current World Champions (France) and European Champions (Portugal) would be both out before the Quarter Finals??
What in the world did I just watch?! Those shots were insane! Still a camping bar steward 🤣🤣🤣
  7. You ain't wrong there! 😄 Sounds an amazing 11 days, Doc. Death Valley sounds like an amazing place to visit too.
  8. Amazing day yet again. This Euros has been bloody fantastic so far, even the edgy games have had moments of brilliance in them. Left hand side of the draw is blown wide open now so these shocks can keep on coming....on that side anyway!

Last few races has been a real worry for Mercedes as we've watched Red Bull dominate from a power perspective. The French GP was a cracker and not much that Lewis could do in the end whereas yesterday Syrian GP was just domination in the end from Verstappen. Knowing Toto, you do expect them to work harder than ever to make it tighter ASAP. What's more impressive is seeing Lando in his Mclaren fight really hard at the top spots to hold 4th in the championship and for a brief moment, George Russell was on fire in his Williams. Sitting 8th and would've caught Alonso if he didn't start having problems with his car overheating. Such a shame for him and Williams. Can't wait to see them pushing hard over the next few races into the top 10 if they can keep it up.
  10. A great day of football yesterday. Czechs looked like they were going to score at some point for me before the sending off so it always felt like the right result. A cracking game between Belgium and Portugal too, especially the second half. End to end stuff and nice to see Belgium hold on. Portugal should concentrate on their game rather than falling over and surrounding the ref. Nice to see a number of refs this tournament not take all the shit from players diving and moaning. He stuck to his guns last night when Pepe tried to blow the game up as per usual.
  11. Whilst I love how Tom plays Spiderman, I'm not sure that his demeanor is one that can become a leader. Thats just my view but if you look at the previous lot of Marvel characters I think Iron Man became the leader because of how Robert Downey Jr played the character. Quite a lot has to change for me, esepcially growing up out of the kiddy phase he always seems to be stuck in.
  12. He feels like the new centerpiece for Phase 4 doesn't he? Can't see many others taking the mantle on.
  13. Yep, agreed @J4MES OX4D and @phil bottle. Good first Round of 16 matches to watch. I was gutted for Austria as they really gave it all, not just for 90 mins either. Italy though still look dangerous. If you can win not on your best day, then this will help to wake them up for the Quarters.
  14. Nice one Tom! I think this is fast-becoming my favourite Marvel to look forward to. It'll be very interesting to see how the rings are so key to Phase 4 of the Marvel series.
  15. I have great difficulty with these types of things when mentioned tbh, because I think you've done exactly what our English mentality is all about. There's many points that really show this but i'll just pick a few out. - Gareth Southgate can't pick his opposition, his job is to beat what is in front of him. - Its actually extremely rare we come up against top ranked teams. Its virtually impossible because we have a high ranking now and much across history (We're 4th in the world only bettered by Belgium, France and Brazil) - When we do come against one (Croatia) then most people knock them down immediately saying 'we're supposed to win, these are past it'. They are 14th in the world. They were the highest seeds in our group. Current World Cup finalists. We played them off the park. - His major objectives outside of this Euros on his performance record is; Qualify for WC, Qualify for Euros, Qualify as high and try and win Nations League. He has qualified for all tournaments so far with great records. He got England to the Semi Final of the World Cup. Only 2 managers have done that for us, ever. He managed to get us into the finals of the Nations League and also beat Belgium in the last Nations League in Nov 2020, ranked number 1 in the world. Other managers in the past didn't really play any big teams either, and when they did, they got beat. Robson - West Germany, Venables - Germany, Erikssen - Brazil & Portugal, Hoddle - Argentina. I want us to win so much on Tuesday but more so for Gareth because he's proven that even when it doesn't look quite right or we all get abit nervous, he doesn't and stays the course, playing people mostly on form, playing different formations to what we're used to, playing effective tactical game plans. He deserves to beat Germany so people can stop going for the negative as their first response. You can see why I'm saying it's not you James, its the whole of English culture. Change ourt mindsets like he has. Its what other countries do but for some reason, we are totally shit at it 🤣 As for Venables he is up there for me but even i have to play devils advocate with my own thoughts and remember his short stint was when we didn't have to do any qualification campaign and we had a home tournament. And then the ol' English mentality would also try to say, he only beat Holland really, the other teams were crap and mostly draws - just like when people have a go at our WC campaign in 2018 to the final (and Robson's journey in 1990 was virtually identical).
  16. Typically went footy training and the best night of football so far! I actually always felt like Hungary and France could nick the wins, and for most of the night it seems like that was the case. I think its a great draw for us. Let's face it, we needed to meet a big gun at an early stage at a tournament at some point so why not now. The draw also has opened up for us so I think if people get behind the team we have a super chance and beating ze Germans. Tactically, we look very solid so we should take that positivity into the game and give them a bloody good game. I've said it online but no so far on here but I am adamant that Gareth Southgate is the best manager we've had since Bobby Robson but even a close second to Alf Ramsay. I don't think people will understand this until 10-20 years have passed but he is essentially suited to International football. He does things that go against our thinking as English fans but its paid off time and time and time again. For once, we should praise his ability to be different and make England something different to try and win tournaments.
  17. Sea of Thieves probably won of the best reveals at E3 if I'm honest with this amazing crossover they now have in game as of yesterday! When I first watched this, I literally couldn't believe they've managed to keep this quiet and release it so soon after the trailer! This is always the game that I want to get back into every time I see it, but its all about lining up a crew to be around. Its hilarious as hell, and more intense than you realise because of how the crew have to work together to even just get the ship to the right island. I've always struggled though with how to find the next steps to the quests or Tall Tales as they are called I believe. Any help is greatly appreciated because this has been well received and a permanent change to the game. Anyone else interested? Apparently you can now make an alliance between ships and crews so arguably you can have more than 4 people on working towards similar or the same loot/goals.
  18. Yeah, it got abit weird at one stage but it was still a goundbreaking game due to all the parkour in it. I'm looking forward to seeing how slick this one will be, maybe one for the Xmas Wishlist from Santa 😄
  19. If we had enough people buying an xbox i'd love to look into it one day but whilst it looks amazing and its not enough to buy a new series X for me!
  20. Some great pics there, Steve. Looks like a very peaceful and relaxing trip away from the world. Was it a stereotypical little American Motel in the middle of nowhere mate?
  21. Good question....i haven't worked it out for me either! I think we have completely delete and do a full reinstall. I might try that later if I can get my PS5 on straight after work. Once we've done that, then either of us can try to send John an invite.
  22. Luckily he didn't but clearly he knew you mentioned it so he decided to score just cos innit 😜 I think it was a really solid performance. I could see people really wanted to have a go because at times it probably wasn't as exciting as people wanted it to be, but lets face it, who cares if were winning! 3 clean sheets against the supposedly 'weak link' in our team and it sets us up nicely to face one of the big ones which we need to beat anyway so lets face them now....or you never know, might spidey senses are thinking France and Hungary could win tonight and then we'd be playing Hungary! 😄 Saka and Grealish were great. Kane on a pitch that wasn't rain-sodden was much more composed and unlucky not to get his goal but you can see the patterns they do really do make us very assured. Whilst others hate we slow it down, clearly we like to reset and play out through the back. It showed last night that even though Mings hasn't put a foot wrong, Maguire definitely does give more stature in there as he also can drive with the ball forward which i'm a fan of.
  23. Creating your own games right at the end of that video looks bloody fantastic. Was Forza 4 like this btw? I n particular I mean did it have a campaign like that as its very VERY different. Reminds me of GTA Online if i'm honest.
  24. I can still find its still going though, so do you mean that its just far less prize money for OWL?
