  1. Soooooo....I had my first online game of LoL. I had a couple of aborted efforts over the weekend. I was trying to get into all human games and the waits to find a game were too long. Last night I tried the humans v bots mode and got into a game immediately. We were defeated and one of my fellow players (summoners?) left the game early (which contributed to the defeat). It was close though...I kept switching lanes too much, I died about 7 times lol. What did I learn? I learned that I need to be a little more careful and not put myself in a position where I take a lot of damage with not enough time to escape and heal. I was playing as Garan, I like pressing E and getting him in to spin around with his sword, it's the only thing I managed to max out during the game.
  2. Lol there you go then, that's proper feedback ha ha
  3. I have Dirt 3 and Grid 2. Customisation is mostly choosing between liveries, advertisers etc Gameplay-wise I prefer Dirt 3. I think The Crew is probably closer to what you're looking for but I don't know anyone who has it on Steam.
  4. Well, looks like Sheffield Utd will be playing Cheatski in the final
  5. Cheers James, was keeping my eye on this, but may leave it for a Steam sale...
  6. I totally agree with what you say. It is a massive undertaking, and with my honest hat on I would say that that it 'probably' won't be the game I want it to be. But, it's something I will support while it appears headed in the right direction. My only doubts aren't to do with how much they eventually raise but whether it's yet technologically possible to pull off what they want to achieve. We'll see
  7. Frankie is the man, love his vids, a lot of folk seem to have issues with him, I've never been able to work that one out
  8. How does it seems to have bitten off more than it can chew? You need to back that up with a fact, or some analysis. Otherwise I deem your post trollworthy For me, they have delivered on their promises so far, I've enjoyed my little visits, though I still can't pilot for toffee. The developer is well known and highly regarded. They have more money than they know what to do with. My only fear is that people will need super rigs to play it. My set up will cope I think though by the time the game is finished I'll probably be upgrading anyway
  9. I was just in now myself, I was on a german medium pop server. An entertaining 20 minutes. Had a fist fight with a guy who spawned about 20 metres away from me. I then came across a town where a guy with an axe who was running towards me suddenly started running away. I looked behind in time to see and then hear a jeep bearing down on me. Managed to side step the fucker and ran afer it into the town. A lot of players and zeds in the town plus a madman driving around in a burning police car. Entertaining 20 minutes indeed
  10. lol you're caning that the last couple of days, well DS2, I can only play about an hour at a time before I have to go find my inner being and calm down Kent, other than the games already posted I'd suggest Mass Effect, at least the first two incarnations, they're bloody brilliant
  11. 5 hours in the Bricklayers? You must have been smashed Lucky you didn't trip on those dodgy stairs heading up to the heavens Utd pretty much parked the bus in front of their 3rd of the pitch but when they did try going forward they looked dangerous, at least on the right wing. I think we've done enough to reach the final and I reckon Poch will play a full strength team for the second leg, but we'll see...it's a funny old game
  12. That is epic, sometimes it's good to irk the purists but sometimes the purists come good. I couldn't face watching all three after the first one.
  13. Kick-off has been delayed til 8pm James, Sheffield Utd's coach is stuck in traffic Not sure what's up with the traffic today, I work near St Paul's and cycling down Old Street back to Hackney was murder, impatient drivers taking liberties and pedestrians walking into the road without looking, when they're 20 metres from a pedestrian crossing. Not to mention the dodgy cyclists who have no idea how to behave in traffic and who often get a pissed off Phil giving them a piece of his mind, in fairly colourful language, but then that's a daily ooccurrence James, I hope you bring us some luck tonight COYS!
  14. What really fucks me off is that I grew up with Cheatski being a second division club, then in the late 90s Ken Bates almost put them out of business buying flashy name players. Fulham had as many fans as them. A few days before the russian mafia bought the club, it was about to go bust, they were going to be wound up. As for tonight, Jose used to complain about teams parking the bus, oh the irony. At least we (Spurs) put 5 past the smug twats this month
  15. I played another practice match this evening, this time with Garen. I really enjoyed it actually I've relocated to the North American region
  16. Downloading this right now, 17GB (to begin with at least) was more than I expected.
  17. The servers were pretty packed but I didn't have any problems (well, it crashed once so that's a bare faced lie) or encounter any queues. There's a lot more US severs than EU from what I could see. The UI for finding a server could do with some tweaks, I'm used to DayZ commander I suppose...
  18. Which region are you based in? I tried to log into the North American one and it looks like I need to create a new username to play in another region. I'll check further but that's not a problem. Quality username BTW
  19. They finally sorted out my log in and I got one for an hours or so last night. I like the fact that I was able to craft a rudimentary bow and arrow from scratch but didn't like not being able to find any loot. A forthcoming patch is due to fix that. I did enjoy stalking and finally killing a dear with my bow and arrow but didn't enjoy the fact that I wasn't able to harvest any meat. I met quite a few other players, much more than I'm used to encountering in DayZ but eventhough it was a PVP server everyone was pretty friendly. Though I did witness a squeaky voiced player getting robbed by two guys with bows and arrows. I didn't hang around to be fair. Escape was the better part of valour on my part.
  20. Pretty damn cool, nice one James
  21. He decided to go after all, so no ticket for me Wrap up warm tomorrow, it's freezing this week
  22. Hmmm I can't find you either. Is it because I'm EU region and you're North America? I'll try changing my region to NA too.
  23. I'm a 50/50 chance of being passed a season ticket for the game, i'll know by the end of the day.
  24. Only played RE4 on the Gamecube, which was awesome. Gamecube was so underrated, had some really excellent games.
