  1. I get paid tomorrow and H1Z1 is released, I don't want it to be any good but DayZ is still miles from being worth investing time in. I should refrain from buying this one because if I wait til full release it becomes free. I just want it now. Or I think I do. http://store.steampowered.com/app/295110/
  2. Good luck to the mighty Ipswich Town tonight, you'll give them a good game I have no doubt. It helps that Southampton are historically a team I don't like
  3. I'm in the master league QFs right now and top of the prem, playing as the spuds, or 'north east london' according to PES. Season has reached 7 March and I'm 12 points ahead of cheatski. Wish I'd had my shadowplay on last night, scored some crackers. Unlike real-life, adebayor my digital version, runs his socks off for me, 'cos I'm the gaffer
  4. I've never actually played Minecraft, at least not on PC, I have it on my xbox but I only ever did some mucking around with my girlfriend in split screen mode. Is it worth getting on PC? I suppose I can't really call myself a PC master racer without it, hmmmmm
  5. A form of punk music called "Oi!" spawned a myriad of punk and skinhead bands from the 80s onwards. Still a vibrant underground subculture, here's some recent Oi! from south london. Video is good simply for showing a classic darts match from the 80s
  6. A frustrating game, until you master the controls, then it's a really frustrating game. But excellent. Those acid graphics, I'm pretty sure I've had a few flashbacks playing it
  7. The fact that I can remember every single bit of a game I haven't played in 20 years says a lot about said game. And my memory is absolute shit. On my steam wishlist
  8. I'm kind of glad they delayed it. It was half-expected when a promised announcement didn't happen christmas week. This means in my new 2015 positive frame of mind* the released game will be their best ever PC port. That's not saying much of course. But yeah, 65gb is incredible, I'll still find some space on my SSD somehow... Story-wise I agree GTAV is a bit all over the place, Rockstar likes to pretend to be satirical but it's pretty tired and cliched stuff when it's not consistent. *i jest
  9. So long as the items being traded are encrypted Tor dark net style I think Dave will be okay, they haven't caught him yet anyway
  10. I have looked at it but I put all my eggs in a different basket, so to speak. I heard there were some bugs (a credit exploit) on Elite and Dangerous recently that split the community. Mind you, Star Citizen still has a long way to go and anything can happen!
  11. If you've ever checked the website you kind of get a feeling that these guys know what they're doing, at least in the Marketing of the game. Here's the latest update from Chris Roberts: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/14414-Letter-From-The-Chairman-Happy-New-Year
  12. According to IGN, Star Citizen have now raised £68.5 million
  13. Very cool guys very cool, all for one and one for all, I likes it!
  14. lol 'superbowl' quality he's a genuine class act, I saw him creeping up on Ian Wright in another clip, brilliant stuff.
  15. Yeah, that lad who scored for the Dons, what a beast, a very enthralling game I thought.
  16. ^a player of his quality deserved a title at some point. He should do a Lampard and join Cheatski or Man Shitty on loan first. Apparently that there new team in New York are raging he's (Fat Frank) now staying on here in the Premier League until the end of the season.
  17. Highest scoring new years day since 1987 apparently
  18. ^Ha ha I wondered if you'd spot that! I couldn't face any more beer today, I was ten metres from the pub and turned back. Tonight's Match of the Day will be starting the year in style. 3 point lane, my arse
  19. Happy new beer
  20. Perfect time of year for a bit of Scott Walker.
  21. Very enjoyable little game, I have it on xbox 360 and pc
  22. Thanks Jordie, I will probably take you up on that at some point, if the previous one was anything to go by
  23. If you can access a membership card I could pick up yours with mine, not sure if they'll reach general sale.... otherwise can ask around to see if anyone I know with a card isn't going, just let me know, innit. Hotel will involve sleeping with my cats
  24. I had a look at MGS Ground Zeroes, decided to give it a go too
  25. I was in The Bell and Hare after the game, they had a tv on in the beer garden showing the draw for the semi finals. Getting Sheffield was (here I jinx everything) a touch. The Geordies on the 'terraces' gave a good account of themselves, long way home for those boys.
