  1. A demo has now become available on Steam so it looks like I get my 'try before you buy' after all The demo on xbox360 came out months ago and I wasn't that impressed so I'll feedback after I've had a few goes.
  2. I have to take my hat off to the guys working on this project and I love their enthusiasm and love of what they do. Inspiring
  3. From what I read around the old interwebz we have bit of a return to form. The presentation isn't the best (nothing new there) but the gameplay is apparently superior to FIFA. It's a shame they don't release a demo version on PC like EA do with FIFA. I've added it to my wishlist http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/pro-evolution-soccer-2015
  4. I'm not a fan of UPLAY so I was annoyed when I heard this. It would actually stop me buying the game to be honest. I have Watch Dogs on UPLAY so let's leave it at that.
  5. That made me laugh, thought it was just me!
  6. I suppose it had to happen at some point. It's come a long way since the top down days of running over hari krishnas
  7. I try and only use my xbox controller on the PC for driving games (and footie, impossible to play FIFA with KB+M), I've been trying to avoid the controller on FPS. However, the mouse aim is a bit weird in BO2 (possibly acceleration?) so I'm thinking of using the xbox controller. Getting the adapter to use the xbox controller on PC was not sometinhg I ever expected to do but it's useful sometimes. I'll probably use it when GTAV comes out on PC. I'm rambling and getting wayyyyyy off topic, sorry I'll watch out for a free weekend Advanced Warfare on Steam, try before you buy and all that
  8. Think I will always love the old xbox 360, I almost said 'trusty' but to be fair I've needed three
  9. I'm used to playing COD on the Xbox but I've been practicing with MW2 and BO2 on the PC. I'll probably wait til I find it a bit cheaper
  10. For those who have played both I'd be interested in any comparisons with Titanfall. Is AW the same game just without Titans?
  11. I've had only sporadic internet access at home lately due to incompetent engineers. Waiting on Open Reach is pretty frustrating. I've just logged into steam after nearly a week away and the Evolve alpha has mysteriously appeared in my Steam library. I don't remember any episodes of drunk impulse buying/pre-ordering Downloading anyway
  12. Thanks for this, the live gameplay demo whets the appetite, before watching I was thinking it might be Chivalry with knobs on. It's not, clearly. If I was lazy I'd describe it as 3rd person Team Fortress in the Dishonored world. I'm lazy
  13. UK? I thought you were from the People's Republic of Yorkshire But yeah, as Rich indicates: strangers banging on your door, making demands with menaces, doesn't go down too well in Hackney, and can end badly
  14. To be honest I think the media has whipped people up over the last decade and a lot of scary right wing groups are on the rise in europe. I heard the EDL and NF had a fight in Rochdale over who was the most racist. Most of their members would probably be deemed as subhuman by a real nazi regime and not last long themselves, ironically. These groups see London as a lost cause which makes me a happy boy. They'd get battered to fuck if they tried to march through hackney
  15. Nice one, I love freebies and from what I see online this is described as (see below) which sounds quite simply old school awesome Crusader: No Remorse is a 90s isometric shooter set in a dystopian word.
  16. I hadn't noticed the vid at the end, I'm surprised an aircraft was allowed to fly so close!
  17. I'm liking the new improved site, good stuff guys
  18. I bought MW2 and BO2 in a deal yesterday as I've never tried them on PC. Back on topic, watching the stuff I've seen so far of AW there seems to be a lot of jumping around, like playing COD in a bouncy castle
  19. Cheers dude
  20. The only hand-helds I ever had were Nintendo Game&Watch ones Commodore 64 SNES N64 PS1 Crappy PC Gamecube PS2 Xbox 360 PC I'd say for nostalgia the C64. Came with International Soccer (on cartridge) and Manic Miner (on cassette). I was 10 when I got it and most memorable for: Way of the Exploding Fists Jet Set Willy + in the UK there was a range of games for £1.99 with occasional gems like 'Kickstart'. I have loved my Xbox 360 and while the PC is winning now I'd say the 360, playing MW2 with mates from work, got me back into games big time
  21. That was absolutely hilarious
  22. Hello mate, nice to have a few news 'faces' around here. All you guys with PS4s seem to be multiplying, how long I wonder before I too succumb? Welcome!
  23. I've not looked a this page in a bit so sorry for the late welcome, we're all peasants on here and some of us are revolting Welcome aboard!
  24. Welcome to FG me old mucker
  25. Hey dude, welcome, CS:GO is a cool game, I think a couple of the lads on this forum play it once in a while
