  1. 5 hours in the Bricklayers? You must have been smashed Lucky you didn't trip on those dodgy stairs heading up to the heavens Utd pretty much parked the bus in front of their 3rd of the pitch but when they did try going forward they looked dangerous, at least on the right wing. I think we've done enough to reach the final and I reckon Poch will play a full strength team for the second leg, but we'll see...it's a funny old game
  2. That is epic, sometimes it's good to irk the purists but sometimes the purists come good. I couldn't face watching all three after the first one.
  3. Kick-off has been delayed til 8pm James, Sheffield Utd's coach is stuck in traffic Not sure what's up with the traffic today, I work near St Paul's and cycling down Old Street back to Hackney was murder, impatient drivers taking liberties and pedestrians walking into the road without looking, when they're 20 metres from a pedestrian crossing. Not to mention the dodgy cyclists who have no idea how to behave in traffic and who often get a pissed off Phil giving them a piece of his mind, in fairly colourful language, but then that's a daily ooccurrence James, I hope you bring us some luck tonight COYS!
  4. What really fucks me off is that I grew up with Cheatski being a second division club, then in the late 90s Ken Bates almost put them out of business buying flashy name players. Fulham had as many fans as them. A few days before the russian mafia bought the club, it was about to go bust, they were going to be wound up. As for tonight, Jose used to complain about teams parking the bus, oh the irony. At least we (Spurs) put 5 past the smug twats this month
  5. I played another practice match this evening, this time with Garen. I really enjoyed it actually I've relocated to the North American region
  6. Downloading this right now, 17GB (to begin with at least) was more than I expected.
  7. The servers were pretty packed but I didn't have any problems (well, it crashed once so that's a bare faced lie) or encounter any queues. There's a lot more US severs than EU from what I could see. The UI for finding a server could do with some tweaks, I'm used to DayZ commander I suppose...
  8. Which region are you based in? I tried to log into the North American one and it looks like I need to create a new username to play in another region. I'll check further but that's not a problem. Quality username BTW
  9. They finally sorted out my log in and I got one for an hours or so last night. I like the fact that I was able to craft a rudimentary bow and arrow from scratch but didn't like not being able to find any loot. A forthcoming patch is due to fix that. I did enjoy stalking and finally killing a dear with my bow and arrow but didn't enjoy the fact that I wasn't able to harvest any meat. I met quite a few other players, much more than I'm used to encountering in DayZ but eventhough it was a PVP server everyone was pretty friendly. Though I did witness a squeaky voiced player getting robbed by two guys with bows and arrows. I didn't hang around to be fair. Escape was the better part of valour on my part.
  10. Pretty damn cool, nice one James
  11. He decided to go after all, so no ticket for me Wrap up warm tomorrow, it's freezing this week
  12. Hmmm I can't find you either. Is it because I'm EU region and you're North America? I'll try changing my region to NA too.
  13. I'm a 50/50 chance of being passed a season ticket for the game, i'll know by the end of the day.
  14. Only played RE4 on the Gamecube, which was awesome. Gamecube was so underrated, had some really excellent games.

  20. Return to the light Dave, your Steam account will auto-destruct if you leave it much longer, but we are all-forgiving here in the land of the free and the decent graphics and ting. Repent and renounce your false idol, and buy me a pint while you're it
  21. I've played the tutorials a bit, it's actually pretty easy to pick up the basics, I've just been shooting my bow quite a lot so far. I'll probably have another go with a different character later
