  1. I managed a couple of hours on this yesterday evening. As it suggested using a controller I decided I might give it a go with my Steam Link, which lets me play it on my TV. After literally 42 updates to the device (been a while since I used it lol) I played an hour on my TV. However, 1080p on a 4K TV, it didn't look great, so I went back on my PC monitor. I played it at 1440p and it looked beautiful, I was very surprised my card could handle it but I was getting just over 60fps on medium settings. What an amazing card it is, they've never made a better one imo. The good. I like the game a lot, it definitely scratched a certain itch. I think I'm going to want to spend a lot of time on it. I might start over on kb&m. It was fine with a controller but we'll see. I like going to chat with NPCs and they've got an assortment of English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents which is pretty cool. I've watched a few tips videos and the first thing I did was ring the town bell to open up more of the map. The game is massive. The bad. It crashed three times in two hours. Now that's annoying. Fortunately it autosaves whenever you do anything interesting, so no progress was lost. Hopefully more patches to the game will fix that. All in all I'm glad I picked it up. Not for £35 in the end, as that turned out to he a weird deal involving playing on another account...
  2. The game seems a bit marmite for some folks out there. However, I finally got around to trying out Dragons Dogma 2 yesterday and wasn't impressed so I've taken the plunge and bought Crimson Desert on Steam. I'll give it a go this evening to see if my geriatric 1080ti can handle it.
  3. I've heard the same. I'm going to hold off on it until I hear back from @Luseth when he tries it out.
  4. I kind of need to upgrade my PC to play this game properly. If the ram crisis calms down I want to upgrade at the start of autumn but will see, PC gaming is mind blowingly expensive right now. But yes, I'm glad they're still busy making this game better and better.
  5. Totally agree with the gooners here, shocking to me how Cheatski got off so lightly but then again look at the world we live in.
  6. Realism mode leaves a lot to be desired, no loot gets dropped and the shooting mechanics aren't quite up to scratch for more nuanced gunplay. However was fun jumping on with Lee, Matt and Crispy on the standard game last night 🖤❤️
  7. Goes live today at some point, but a lot of reviews started coming out already.
  8. I've seen the PC version for £35 via G2A and I'm struggling to stop myself from going for it 🙈😅
  9. I wonder if this is the game that will finally get me off my Tarkov addiction, this looks pretty incredible imo
  10. Agree, I reinstalled it yesterday and I'll give it a go this evening. I'm intrigued to see if it turret ends up doing all my work for me 🫠
  11. It's out now but apparently only going to be for a limited time until April 1st, which is a shame. I hope they get persuaded to keep it as an option, as I always thought a non bullet sponge version of the game would be a great move....
  12. This would be cool if it turns out to be true 🥰 Fallout 3 Remastered release date revealed by new toy and it's due soon METRO.CO.UK Bethesda’s keeping mum about the Fallout 3 remaster, but it may finally lift the lid on it by summertime.
  13. Just seen this, it looks fucking amazing and I may be tempted to reinstall as I already have the new york dlc
  14. Latest info on this, i'm still quietly hopeful it's going to be decent...
  15. I hear it did ok on Steam but from what I've seen I'd agree with Cohh's take on it, some of the design choices are strange, particularly the UI...
  16. Did anyone try out the latest playtest (server slam)? It's getting more positivity apparently...
  17. Another view.

Yet another game derived from an Arma mod. Amazing how many different games have come from there. This time it's King of the Hill, which I've played many times and is a lot of fun, at least in Arma 2 and 3. Will keep an eye on Wardigs, but seeing as I can already play the Arma version for free it'll take a lot of convincing for me to part with my my cash 🤪
  19. Oops I should have used the 'Leftover game keys thread', I'll do that next time lol The key has been DM'd to you @Deby : )
  20. Some more Steam keys going for free: Sonic Frontiers Tomb Raider 4,5 & 6 W 2K25 Metal Slug Tactics
  21. The developers of Escape From Tarkov have teased their next project. Not much to go on yet but looks like it could be Tarkov in Space 🤪
  22. This was supposed to be an MMO as well but they've dialled it back and it's single player only. But yep agree, let's see how it reviews...
  23. This has been in development a good while and finally getting released in March. Could be a good 'un but time will tell, hopefully its as good as it looks...
  24. A game in development I've had my eye on recently, kind of a DayZ in America. The devs seem cool and once they have a playable version I'll definitely give it a go. There's an option in Steam to request access : )
