  1. French will be tough to beat, so long as they're all getting on, which, seeing as they are French, is extremely unlikely Nasri, though, I bet there's a few thousand gooners chuckling to themselves.
  2. Defoe, cracks me up but he didn't get a fair go this season and I don't blame him for leaving..Toronto though? lol Sherwood, despite his win ratio, I am glad has been let go. Poor man manager and he upset the fans with is treatment of Sandro, everyone loves Sandro. Looking forward to Belgium in the WC they'll be fun to watch...but agree with Rich, England are good going forward butt that's the weakest defence they have ever brought to a tournament. This will be the first world cup in living memory - or perhaps ever - where England doesn't expect England to challenge. Maybe that's a good thing, less pressure and a little less ego is always a good thing.
  3. If they made it multiplayer I would be happy. Played the original on xbox and really liked it, just needs to break out of single player.
  4. I love the human brain, it hasn't got a fucking clue what's going on, ever
  5. Always followed Jello's career post Dead Kennedys, always funny, always witty, always to the jugular.
  6. GTAV for a quick bang, but if you want something that'll last try out State of Decay on the 360, kind of a zombie survival beat em up sandbox.
  7. Decent people die every minute of the day, I feel sorry this kind of thing sells newspapers.
  8. But seriously Dave, get on Arma 3 Altis Life, it's the bollocks. I play with Aitchy and Dylan. I'll post some footage of me and Dylan robbing and murdering goldminers when they go to cash their pay at some point. That lad brings out the worst behaviour in people
  9. You can always show us how it works when you come up Hackney for a brew
  10. Welcome aboard dude, French or Flemish?
  11. Natural beaches, better quality.... the beaches in the city were reclaimed from industrial wasteland when they were building for the Olympics. You don't need to go far from where you are. North up the coast Mongat onwards you'll find nice beaches, south down the coast Vilanova onwards too. There's a cheap little train that goes along the coast and stops every 15 minutes or so.
  12. Only if they don't get Champions league I'd say. TBH I'm not a big fan of his but he'd probably do a good job for us, he's a big lump
  13. This. Too many times to count. Plus I played Naval Strike last night, got shot in the back and got flung 200m in the air What kills the game is: still getting shot after I've run round a corner shooting over a ledge but somehow shooting an invisible barrier putting a whole clip into someone and no effect
  14. Being Tottenham I obviously despise the ARSEnal but funnily enough I hope they get 4th and not Everton. That's how low my season has sunk too
  15. McDonalds? In one of the world's most gastronomic locations. You should be shot. And then fed to McDonald's customers to complete the chain. Mind you. I've been to McD's in Paris. Just wanted to know if the scene from Pulp Fiction was right. Not because I think Paris is over-rated and expensive, no not at all.
  16. Looks like a nice apartment complex, funnily enough my missus grew up just around the corner, literally. It's a good base, though a 30 minute ride on the train either side of the city and you'll find much better beaches. Be aware there are a lot of nudist beaches By the time you get there I'm sure you'll weighed down with suggestions and tips, I suppose it depends on what else you like doing...personally the visits to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia don't really float my boat but let me know what you're looking for. Bringing kids? For a trip to Europe you guys made a good choice in Barcelona.
  17. Being of Irish heritage I'd better stick me oar in. Poitín = An Irish win. You can stick an olive in it if you really have to.
  18. BTW July is a great month to go. It will be damn hot but it will be zero% chance of rain (maybe the occasional electrical storm).
  19. I can probably be of help here. My partner/girlfriend/missus of 8 years is from Barcelona. She's been living with me in London for 6 years, I've been many times and I'll probably end up living there at some point. Great weather, October will still be nice and you can expect 70-80 degrees. Rain is unlikely but the climate in general's up the spout lately so who knows.. Great food, seriously, these guys know how to cook, eat where the locals eat, you won't be disappointed. All cities have their shitty tourist traps but I've never had a bad meal there. I can probably speak with Marina and ask for her advice on where to stay but the good thing is that its not a massive city, has a beach, a port, a little mountain with a castle/fort and you can get round really easily by metro, tram or foot. Young people are pretty cool and they have a very family-orientated social culture, and are very proud of their culture and language, separate from spain. Give me a shout if you need any info Bona nit.
  20. Just for info: I play football with some Hackney miscreants from 5pm to 7pm in Hackney Downs park. Every Wednesday until October. We used to play in London Fields but started to get surrounded by dickhead hipsters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVmmYMwFj1I Anyone who can make it, Rich, is very welcome
  21. So long as it's at least 5% then it's stella and you're a lucky lucky boy The day I reach the new country I wil be all englished-up, red sun burnt skin, pasty white legs and a football. Come at me dear cousins
  22. 4.2% and brewed in Scotland. How can that be? I'm assuming the decimal place should come after the 2 and not after the 4... Great name for a beer
