Thanks to Sky (or Openreach, depending on who points at the other the longest) I got a few more hours in last night. I started a new game as I forgot all the controls and stuff and I was still at the point where my progress was negligible, so I blasted through all the intro stuff and I'm up to the point of the proving, right before it. This is the first game in ages which has roped me in so far. I thoroughly enjoy the story, the setting, the cut scenes are phenomenal and it's oh so beautifully made. If it wasn't for my amazing group of friends online I'd probably just be playing this until platinum, that's how much I enjoy it. If I had to have a gripe, it'd be the hitboxes. Loads of times I've shot an arrow at something and very clearly missed, yet the shot hits. It makes pulling off that perfect shot a bit less rewarding as the game is so easy going in terms of hits. Killed my first Sawtooth last night too. Got him in the second go, what a brilliant fight. Love this game.

No, you unlock the heists on your own, so have your own progress tree. You can join other peoples' heists however. Heists depend on what property you own, I own the most expensive one so I get the top level stuff, but if I buy the cheaper stuff, I get access to those heists too. Fuck knows why they're dependent on apartment, bit of an odd system but it works.

This is fantastic Lee. As I said, the app looks fantastic. It's really great to have someone as enthusiastic as you on board as I simply don't have the time to invest that I used to (remember that when I started this new forum I worked at BT so had 12 hour night shifts doing fuck all). Apple might be a bitch, there may be a loophole through Tapatalk but Apple are fairly strict with vetting their apps AKAIK. I'm sure @tronic44 will do the sensible thing and get an Android phone though.

The more I play, the more I find the "quick ways" of doing stuff. There are many ways to fuck a cat in Gta and some of them are obtuse as hell, but others are then ridiculously simple. It's almost as if Rockstar streamlined the game over time but forgot to take out the old ways of doing stuff.

Spot on. This is also why I've put the whole CoD thing behind me once and for all. Let the suckers pay, I'll keep enjoying my lifetime free DLC on Overwatch and GTA Online. The only game I might pay for is Destiny, but even then only because of a hive mentality.

Stretch and I spent a few minutes battering each other last night to see how bad the friendly fire is, and it's very insignificant. If you're on an owned flag you're immune to friendly fire and if you're out in the open the damage is akin to taking a swipe from a soldier, and that was my heaviest attack too. I needed to research this in order to know if I need to be careful or not. Turns out I can still hammer the fuck out of you Rich

That AFK farming is pretty irritating. I don't know why they don't simply put a timer in like Overwatch. That dude who stuck around for 7 games straight last night was doing my head in. Wankers.

I haven't played enough single player to comment on that but the jist I'm geting from reading around is no, these are their own thing. They're also very obviously designed for multiple players. And @TigerBurge is a bender.
