  1. I’m surprised I played that many hours, there was a 6 month gap where I didn’t play a single game haha It’s been weird going a whole year without gaming with you guys. Looking at work next year I’ll probably have even less time to game.

  7. I don't whether to be proud or weirded out that Call of Duty was my biggest game, and of every month in 2023 too. Destiny not even in my top 5, which is kind of disappointing on a personal note, only because it shows how much the game dropped in 2023. Couldn't believe that Hogwarts, a single player game was 3rd with just over 100 hours of playtime. I absolutely loved it and for a hard year to overcome, it was great to zone out and focus on so many little objectives in the game. Rocket League was number 5 and its incredible that game keeps on having playtime. Best Playstation Plus game they've given to us. And now I can be Lightning McQueen. There is a God.

  10. Here is mine! 2023 will likely go down as one of the best years for video games, and my most played game is Fortnite 😅

  11. If you read the previous Game of the Year topic, you’ll know I’ve been planning this for a week or so! It’s time to start the process and determine the nominees! Everyone, please respond in this topic with the 5 games you want to nominate for Game of the Year! The only rule is that the game must have originally released in the year 2023 (e.g. if the game released on another console in 2022, but came to your console in 2023, this would not be eligible). I will ‘Stop the count’ on Christmas Day. I will then open a poll after the Christmas break (hopefully the 29th/30th) with all the nominated games. We have a maximum entry of 20 games, so the games with the least amount of nominations will have to miss out if we have more than 20 nominated! So be sure to nominate the our favourite games even if you’ve seen someone else nominate it! I will post more about the poll voting process when that time is nearer, but for now reply to this post with your 5 nominations (or less if you haven’t played 5 games worthy of nomination!!) If you can share this with as many different members as possible to make this is varied as a true representation of the Forever Gaming community! I will start the process with my 5 nominations in no particular order: - Lies of P - Spider-Man 2 - Star Wars Jedi Survivor - Sea of Stars - Starfield (A lot of ‘stars’ this year …)

  12. Came across this guys channel. He has several types of videos but his exploring dead games series are the best. He goes back to some older games that still have active servers with little amounts of people on. Gets into some wholesome situations and also gets his discord members to join old games to experience them again. Good watch if you’re working etc. Lots of nostalgia if he happens to visit a game you used to play https://www.youtube.com/@RyeGamesOfficial

  13. My game of the year easily goes to Sea of Stars. It was such a great experience that I can't recommend it enough. And of course, my other 4 choices. Lol 1: Sea of Stars 2: Cocoon 3: Hi-Fi Rush 4: Baldurs Gate 3 5: Metroid Prime Remastered

Well then, I guess there’s no time like the present to get this started. Rather than starting a new topic, we may as well do it in this one! The Day Before [SCAM]

Even former employees are taking shots The Day Before controversies continue as former employee says it was never an MMO WWW.EUROGAMER.NET The strange situation that is The Day Before keeps getting stranger. The whole thing sounded like a shit show, i even read that they were using volunteers to help make the game, so they didn't have to pay as many people. They then back tracked and said they could become full time employees. Read this shit below, it's mind blowing. Not sure if it's already been posted but we all know everyone works best when they're not being paid. 😂 The Day Before developer Fntastic responds to volunteer controversy, says they can become full-time employees | Game World Observer GAMEWORLDOBSERVER.COM Fntastic has responded to criticism and allegations of using free labor as part of its volunteer program. The Day Before developer shared more details about its policy of attracting unpaid volunteers, saying that...

  18. I think footballers aren't made of what they used to be. Owen did an interview with Simon Jordan, got ridiculed for his Apple in the bin part, which was quite funny watching it back. However, he said something that in his way didn't sound quite right but the underlying sentiment isn't probably far off. He said you don't need to be good anymore to be a premiership player, you just need to be able to be an athlete. I do think you need the skills and ability but I do think there's some truth in that footballers are designed from an early age to be as fit as you possibly can be and the fitness and conditioning work they do is not built from making them durable. These days, they have the thinnest socks and boots you'd find and they wonder how many people break toes, etc. But they want them to 'feel' the football like its an extension of your foot. Its the way the game has evolved that makes it this way now. Not sure it'll turn the other way as its more entertainment than pure football these days. Money will play its part too. If you earn an absolutely ridiculous amount, which they all do at that level, the back of their head will sometimes say don't push it, gotta be 100% fit otherwise kiss goodbye to a career of that money that won't last forever. Injuries have killed us yet again. Its unbelievable that somehow we've been inconsistently crap but only 2 points off teh playoffs still. Quality is not there this year in the Championship.

  20. A reserve is exactly what we need! And as @Luseth said feel free to jump in the party whenever you're free! As @GazzaGarratt said I'm trying to put up events as frequently as possible which should give you a small understanding of people coming online that night.

  21. Dunno really, we're (Spurs) not in any cup competitions, so not that many games, yet still lots of injuries. Maybe the Fergie Time at the end of every game now is contributing?

  22. Keep checking the events section, you'll usually see nights go up for it that tell you where and when 👍

Found out there is a way to move faster, you need to bind the "low ready" function which essentially means you've lowered your gun and can move faster.

It is quite tough with just two people but a lot of fun. Amazing to think it's an early access game. The gun play is superb.

Finally got round to picking this up it's basically siege turned up to 11 on the realism scale. Phil and I spent literally all night in one mission. It was hard. Could do with maybe one more person to make it a bit easier. I'm loving it though.
