  1. Dead Space Remake - screenshots really don’t do this game justice!
  2. A Halo Infinite Montage - PRECISION. My first ever Halo montage, and my proudest project! I’ve spent a lot of time playing the game and editing the clips together. All editing was done on my iPhone, using the ‘InShot’ app, so no professional editing software! That being said, I hope you will enjoy the montage and the editing, please do leave any feedback you have that can help me to make my next montage even better!
  3. Some screenshots from Planet of Lana, beautiful art style!
  4. Wow! They’ve actually released an item for £80?! That’s insane!
  5. As an Arsenal fan, I can’t say I agree with your taste 🤣 but glad you’re enjoying FUT! Question, do you play online or the offline modes? One of the main reasons I don’t enjoy FUT is that I don’t have the time or patience to play enough to be able to keep up with the best teams, so I tend to play the offline modes but get bored of them pretty quickly.
  6. I don’t like the idea of selling season passes as part of deluxe editions etc, especially for games we have no idea are even good or not! Even when God of War 2018, my favourite game of all time, had the sequel Ragnarok coming out I refused to buy any deluxe edition. Just give me my £70 standard version and I’m happy. For Star Wars Outlaws, I want to see a bit more before I commit £70, but I probably will!
  7. I would definitely say Lara Croft is iconic, but not the MOST iconic. For me it is Mario. Whilst I’ve only played a handful of Mario games and he wouldn’t be anywhere my list of favourite characters, I do think globally he is the most recognised and iconic character! If you did it for the different consoles, the for Xbox it would be Master Chief without a doubt. For PlayStation I think you could have a debate: Kratos, Crash, Nathan Drake come to mind. But I wouldn’t put any of these on the level of Mario.
  8. Yes, you would be last but you got +5 for getting the Rise of the Ronin score correct!
  9. Second playthrough of Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice completed! Can’t wait for the sequel next month!
  10. So it appears that my screenshots are larger than 10mb which is crazy. Downloaded straight from the Xbox and PS app. I assume they’ve done something to the file size on their end as I haven’t had this issue previously … I’ve found a way to make them much smaller so will try that!
  11. It’s time for an update on the Open Critic challenge! Since the last update we have had 7 games release! Here are their open critic scores: Skull and Bones: 60 Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: 93 Alone in the Dark: 65 Dragons Dogma: 88 Princess Peach: Showtime: 76 Rise of the Ronin: 76 South Park: Snow Day: 61 This means our scores are: @J4MES OX4D = 5 @Andy_White_07 = -3 @Luseth = -4 Me = -6 … 😔 We only have 9 games left on the list, so it’s looking like I’m going to need a miracle to win this!
  12. Has there been a change to the file size we can upload? All of my screenshots are suddenly too large to upload.
  13. I’m still playing this a few times a week with my mate, and I’ve seen some of the FG crew that I have on PSN playing pretty often too!
  14. I have downloaded it on Xbox, first time ever playing a Diablo game. Only played an hour so far so too early to give my thoughts on the game! Not sure if it’s cross play or not? My tag should be WelchyTV#2960 if anyone wants to team up at some point!
  15. Not the most exciting month for me, but I will probably give Immortals of Aveum a try at some point!
  16. There’s a clip online from a former Blizzard developer, I can’t remember what game he was referencing but it was something along the lines of them spending months and months of time, and millions and millions of dollars developing a substantial piece of DLC content (similar to the likes of the upcoming Elden Ring DLC), but when they released it, it made significantly less money than a single simple cosmetic microstransatcion did on World of Warcraft. I’ll try and find the full quote for you as I haven’t summarised it well, but essentially developers move towards microtransactions as they are time and cost efficient, and can often result in significantly more income than a substantial piece of content. My personal view, they don’t bother me as I know I won’t buy them unless I really love the game and want to spend money on that game and developer (I buy the occasional Marvel themed skin on Fortnite). Do they have a place in single player games? Personally I think it’s a bit greedy but at the same time the developers want/need to make a bit more cash, and I know I’m not going to buy them so it doesn’t bother me. My issue comes when they go further than simple cosmetic items, if it’s something that significantly impacts the way the game is played or is pay 2 win on the multiplayer side. I haven’t played Dragons Dogma 2 but if they are charging people to create a new character, then that crosses a line for me. Keep them as fun, cosmetic and non essential items then people can buy them if they want to have them, or can ignore them and carry on playing the game without it affecting them.
  17. Welcome to FG! Hopefully see you online at some point!
  18. Definitely like this idea!
  19. I just completed this quiz. My Score 30/100 My Time 166 seconds
  20. I think it’s a great idea! I have always wanted to be involved in something like that but have either never found the right group or never found the time or organise it myself. I think we would have to work out some logistics etc but definitely put me down as interested. I would suggest one way to do would be to try and pick games that are on a subscription service (Gamepass, ps plus, EA play etc), that way the majority of people can play the game for free using the service they are already paying for, therefore not spending money just for this. I know not everyone will subscribe to these services and if not we can still try to find a cheap game on the service? One potential idea is recording a review/discussion video. It will be difficult to arrange but if we could find a time where everyone (or the majority) could spare an hour or so to join up on discord and record a conversation reviewing and discussing the game. To upload to a Forever Gaming YouTube channel? Just a thought.
  21. As a newer member to the site, I would say the main thing I notice is that there seems to be a lot of underused features. I wonder if there could be an easier way to keep up to date with what’s going on in the community without having to go through all the different tabs and forums? Could we have a ‘features’ or ‘what’s on’ page, which highlights the main events going on. The page could show the next and upcoming FG events, a hot topic from the forums, latest videos being uploaded, new quiz posted etc etc. It wouldn’t even have to be the most recent posts and not everything posted needs to be featured, but if there is a forum post that you or any moderators here think is worthy of being ‘front page news’. Essentially a place that just makes it easier for members to see what is going on. I often forget to look at the events tab and don’t even know until this post that there was a quiz tab!! I quite like @Luseth idea of having certain members being responsible for certain areas too.
  22. Started my replay of Hellblade: Seuna’s Sacrifice in anticipation of the sequel releasing in May! Here are my first batch of screenshots …
  23. Seeing your screenshots and watching these clips has made me want to play this game! Always heard good things but never got around to it. Just looks like a lot of fun!
  24. Ashamed to say I haven’t played those 3 games! I believe I played a little bit of Fear 2 but don’t recall much of it! For me the first game that comes to mind is SIFU. I really fell in love with the combat in this game, learning to master the game was both challenging and rewarding, and beating it and earning the platinum was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in gaming! Some other games that come to mind are Control, and going back further I would say Splinter Cell Conviction (although I’m not sure if the gameplay still holds up today!)
  25. It was great to finally get to play with some of you guys last night! I tried my best to keep up with you! This game is a blast and I’m now motivated to reach the higher levels to get some of the better stratagems that you lot were using! Looking forward to what they do with future updates too!
