I'm back to this is a social experiment to see how many people are dumb enough to play it enough so they can't get a refund and see how much money they make. The videos are quite truly incredible. Dare I say, does this make Gollum NOT the worst game this year???? 💩

Will keep that in mind thanks. Tac stance is a pain in the ass. I find it's a great way to get yourself killed rather than being an asset Meat is turning out to be a great map for me.

I suppose with the steam refund option people are buying it just to see how crap it is and then getting a refund before the 2 hours are up?

I'd say it blows my mind how many morons actually bought it but then again 🤔😅 Barebones game, 3 zombies max, bullet sponge zombies at that. Not an MMO at all. Fucked up servers. Lies upon lies. If they'd released it as an early access game without all the lying marketing for £14.99 I'd be ok with that but now I'll never touch this disgrace of a product 🤣

Off to a strong start😎

Today is the day! After almost 3 years of lies, deceit, plagiarism, asset flips, fake gameplay, amateur mistakes and a multitude of embarrassments, the game is finally out in early access for £33.50/$40. I am not expecting much and will have to catch some gameplay later. A surprise choice to also launch in Unreal 5 instead of the far more stable UE4. Unless the game has some significant features out the gate then this could be a poor move right from the off that causes unnecessary strain on optimisation for nothing in return.

Inspired by last nights Game Awards. I thought it would be cool to organise an awards show for Forever Gaming! I’m still new here so not sure if this already happens or not, but I would be happy to volunteer to organise this. My initial thoughts are that everyone would submit to me their Top 5 (or 10?) games of the year, in order. I would then use a points system (top game getting most points, bottom game getting the least) to work out our collective game of the year! Not sure Forever Gaming has a YouTube channel or not, but I would be happy to make this into a video format too, counting down from the number 5 (or 10) spot. We could also do other categories, such as best RPG, best multiplayer etc. but thought for the first year it may be better to concentrate on just Game of the Year for now? Let me know your thoughts, I think it could be fun and interesting to see what this forum considers to be Game of the year!

Well, I just turned it off, not because I have other shit to do (which I do but corrodoory), or because I got bored, but having had my suspicions confirmed that the MP games are full of bots, I'm now paying attention to it and they're everywhere. In the game I just had there were two which were literally doing exactly the same thing for the entire game. Even when camping they were lying next to each other, they're runing together, shoot ingtogether, had the same weapons, the lot. Someone's just copied and pasted the code. Still, they seem to be more intelligent that most of the cod community and actually cap flags so it's not all bad. Kinda put me off a bit tbh.

Looks like the entire game was also build out of the Unreal Asset store American City Packs (Bundle) in Environments - UE Marketplace WWW.UNREALENGINE.COM The project includes a lot of high quality assets with everything that you need to create an American City. The city/architecture is based on New York City - NYC - Manhattan - Brooklyn. The buildings are... That's just one of the packs used but there's plenty more from foliage, interiors, vehicles and other small details. It's the sort of game you could clamber together for about £1500.

I'm prolly gonna just refurbish mine myself, maybe mod them a bit. Fucking mahoossive battery, clean them up and wrap or something, I can't justify that amount on a new headset when mine works perfectly fine. Just needs a tidy up.

Pro tip if you're came grinding and you have one of those "get 25 tac stance kills" challenges: Go into Hardcore Meat 24/7. Kit your gun out with all attachments that help with tac stance spread and then go into your options and make the centre dot on your screen as big as possible. It took me 2 games to get 25 tac stance kills.

Game is currently sitting at 21% positive on Steam and most of those are meme reviews. Watched 30 minutes of gameplay so far and it's just an extraction shooter in the most empty world imaginable. 2 zombies and one person killed in the stream I saw and a whole lotta looting nothing. They are also using misleading fake gunshots to add ambience. No vehicles, no melee and barely any features that were showcased 3 years ago. Bigfry described it as WarZ but worse which says it all.

I'll watch a livestream to see how launch goes, should be fun 🙈

I love Astro's for the sound but I found they made my ears ridiculously hot. Greboth suggested a Seinheiser headset and astro mixamp combo that I've been using the last 5 years and show no sign of wear or tear, so I'm all good too. These do look nice though 🙂

As we were discussing the other day, my Astro's are 16 year old and on to their third generation of console but being wired they seem to just keep going and going. But it would be nice to go wireless and retire my current Astro's and de-clutter the bulky set up I have for my PC for one headset to rule them all. I'm in no rush though so will wait until release and a lot more in depth reviews to drop before deciding.
