Thrapston full highlights .mp4 | ⚫ FA CUP HIGHLIGHTS 🔴 Watch all... WWW.FACEBOOK.COM ⚫ FA CUP HIGHLIGHTS 🔴 Watch all the action from yesterdays historic victory 🏆 Read the full match report: https://buff.ly/3QsQ56p Thought I'd share a little snippet of my own personal local club team. Coundon Court Ladies made history on Sunday, winning 2-0 in the last Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. First time ever making the 1st Round proper which is incredible. For a team that hasn't got the name or badge that people flock to in Coventry, we still are the highest ranked team in the City and this win was such good fun to be a part of. First goal was pure class...especially being in the crowd just where Jess slides off to celebrate! Same colours as FG too, clearly written in the stars ❤️🖤2 points -

Some pro tips here for combat (that I totally haven't stolen from a Youtube video that I watched): The easiest way to tackle combat is to just stay in the air. So punch an enemy into the air, jump up and beat the shite out of them, when they're done then use triangle to yank another enemy up. Then the only thing you have to worry about is avoiding projectiles (there's an ability that lets you dodge behind an enemy you're fighting in the air). There are a few abilities to help with aerial combat as well, including one which increases damage to enemies in the air.2 points -

Agreed 100%. This is fantastic, as usual by the folks at Insomniac. Really enjoying whipping through NYC kicking the ever-loving shit out of bad guys. Just passed the halfway point, until @Rumelyladytook over the system.2 points -

CPP Benchmark video with some interesting findings. TL;DW - 8Gb VRAM is pretty much required. It’s playable on lower but 1% lows get very low - V-sync should be kept off. 1% lows are far better with it off (some GPU’s seeing 10x the fps) though doesn’t seem to change average fps. - 1080p recommended but 1440p possible on high end GPU’s. 4k is pretty much a no go even on an RTX4090. - FPS drop with city size is not linear. 0-25k population saw a large drop while 75k-100k only a few fps. It’s worth a watch to get the full picture but they were the points that stood out for me.2 points -
Super Mario Bros: Wonder

I picked this one up a few days after release, and It'll be the next one I tackle once I'm done with Spider-Man 2. I've always preferred the classic side-scrolling SMB games, so this one was an easy buy for me. Plus, the couch co-op should be a lot of fun to play with @Rumelylady Adrian, and his wife. Anyone else pick this one up?1 point -
Spider-Man 2
IRaMPaGe reacted to J4MES OX4D for a topic
This looks decent. I liked the original with its stunning visuals and sublime mechanics but it was a game that has some very bad habits which included Ubisoft-style radio towers, terrible stealth and painfully repetitive random events. Those flaws were really surprising because everything else was extremely polished. There was also some horrendous puzzle missions (that you could thankfully skip) which absolutely destroyed the pacing. Hoping this will improve across the board1 point -

The terrain issues is something they need to address urgently Cities: Skylines 2's weird terrain quirks mean you'll need to start landscaping immediately | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Smooth out those bumps. Any assets placed should automatically flatten the terrain but right now, the objects warp around the terrain and it looks terrible. People don't want to be faffing around flattening every pixel just to place an object.1 point -
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake - Now Confirmed!

Another nightmare port which is insane as this is an essentially 10 year old product with established games of 20 years across multiple systems and generations. PC version is bad and the consoles aren't faring much better. Players blast Metal Gear Solid Master Collection for missing options, vanished Steam pages, and muddy textures: 'absolutely poor and not worth its asking price' | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM The older Metal Gears' Steam debut is getting a rocky reception. My PS5 copy should be arriving in the post tomorrow and I'm toying with whether to send it straight back. This has been another shocking year for unfinished and broken games. Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft and Valve should ban developers from being able to patch their games for the first 60 days and then maybe they may release them to some reasonable standard.1 point -
World Building/ Creative Writing
GazzaGarratt reacted to jmrandle for a topic
I've recently started World Building / Creative Writing as a hobby to try and do something away from a screen for once. I've been really enjoying it and wondered if anyone else did anything similar?1 point -
I made a few sketches and then used a website called Inkarnate. Really useful.1 point

I have done in the past, I used to be quite a big fan of fantasy novels and such, I have quite a few series of books and though we are trying to get rid of stuff out of the house I can't bare to part with them ^_^ That enjoyment of them has led me to writing up ideas if you like for my own fantasy novels, that has included world building, character creation and such. It tend's to be that when I write (or type) something the words tend to flow, even now when I type this I don't really know what I am going to write until I do it! But yeah it was always the way when I used to write in that I never sat down and came up with ideas in the sense, ah I want 7 houses and they are at war and there are these alliances, I would write like I was following a group i.e. akin to the lord of the rings stories or the Eragon books so I would be creating and experiencing the adventure / world as a someone wholly new to it would experience it. Whether that translates to good creative writing or not I have no idea! I think my issue with keeping it going and actually creating a full length novel has always been time and that has only become much more reduced with little un's. It is one of those things I have always wanted to do is release a novel, I know Elliot's book is an entirely different category but I do have some respect to him for making it happen. I have never really had the confidence to go out and explore how to make something like that happen. That said James, if you are starting to get into it now, I know DnD dungeon masters benefit from creative writing in that being able to come up with their own scenarios and such, hint hint 😉1 point

My missus offered to order this last night after I showed it her, assuming she was serious about it I will be reminding her this evening and ordering it ^_^ It looks like something we could play together but the kids might also enjoy something so colourful on screen ^_^ Some of the clips I have seen of it suggest it looks quite good 🙂1 point -

It's taking forever, and I'd say a 2025 release date maybe Xmas 2024 at the earliest. However I am pleasantly surprised by what i see. I've always had the idea it's going to be decent but once it's polished and optimised I think it may blow everyone away. That being said I'll probably need a new PC for it 😅😭1 point -
MW3 beta first impressions
Plumbers Crack reacted to J4MES OX4D for a topic
I'm probably gonna give MW3 a miss this year. I thought the beta was decent enough but not worth shelling out £60 for especially on what is a rushed continuation with content that has probably been withheld and intended for MW2 had it not fell off so spectacularly. I think Sledgehammer have made some crucial tweaks that the stubborn and quite frankly ignorant Infinity Ward should've addressed a year ago on what was extremely needless changes in the first place. This week they have been absolutely crucified on Twitter from some of the biggest names in content creation, major news outlets like CharlieIntel and Modern Warzone plus even their own affiliated partners. It is absolutely insane that it's got to this stage and emotions have really boiled over when they decided to patch the event player count based on fake feedback after ignoring the community for almost a year. It should've never come to this and MW2 really suffered for it. SHG seem to be getting off to a positive start especially after they've been under the cosh to get this done in less than 8 months but even with all the classic maps, I think they'd get a bit old after 20 ours or so, and as per usual, everyone is in the dark on season one content and its release. Such s shame Activision couldn't create a Modern Warfare Trilogy framework where the games could be merged into one massive package but then again, they do not plan ahead whatsoever for things like this - just cash in on the quick and then clamber for more content to flog. The movement and gunplay seems fluid - not quite MW2019 but way better than MW2. It's nice to see the classic maps reimagined but the ones in the beta looked a bit washed out and low in texture quality. I'd also be a bit apprehensive about the prospect of players bringing in paid bundle content against MW3's vanilla guns as I said previous and also seeing wacky camos right from the off. SBMM seemed tuned up and this is something Activision will not budge on or even talk about when confronted so it's set in stone and it looks hell this year. So I hope everyone has a good time but I'll probably have a breather and return with Black Ops 12 or whatever number we're on with that now🤣1 point -

I can't stand listening to Eight Thoughts. He's a massive Bellend. This is one of the very few open world games where I don't use fast travel. Traversing the world is so much fun with all of the web slinging and gliding that fast travel just seems pointless.1 point -

It’s a weird one as you have people like in the video saying performance is unplayable. Yet others, like Biffa, running it at 1440p with almost everything on high and getting a solid 60fps (v-sync) while streaming. Now yes, Biffa has a 4090, but with his settings and streaming you’d expect to see some issues. I’ve seen 2 plausible answers; the first is a bug that means low isn’t low settings such as keeping the different LoD textures loaded even though the high res won’t ever be used. There’s also already been a bug found that the game defaults to the system resolution even though it doesn’t say it has and you have to manually change it back. The other is hardware though sample size is relatively low still. But it seems those with GPU’s with lots of VRAM aren’t suffering with performance as much. Then those with with high VRAM and high system RAM again are suffering even fewer problems. Why it needs so much VRAM and RAM though is up in the air and something that will need to be fixed if they want it to run on consoles as planned. Neither excuse the game being launched as it is but it’ll be interesting to see how quickly they can fix it. As it could give an indication as to if it’s just a bug or a systemic issue with the game. Personally I’m keeping my preorder though so will report back how it runs.1 point -

One thing that actually annoys me. There's already a spoiler article on Gameinformer about the game's ending. Wtf?! The game literally just released, and you're spoiling shit already? Fuck off GI.
