  1. I don't know why Harry Maguire didn't join West Ham. Think he would've done well there. Tut-tut Phil, political opinion creeping out again 👀😂

  2. @phil bottle, I suggest we go for something in September and see how it goes. I would love us to try a Tuesday and then a Saturday perhaps through Septmeber, so we get to see who actually can make different days. 4 different dates for 4 different weeks I was thinking? @Lurchzy was helping get some pics for the events and I'll start nudging more GTers to get their asses back in the swing of this. 👊

    Starfield

ACG liked the game. From what I've seen it looks like a better looking The Outer Worlds but with space combat. This isn't a bad thing as that game was great fun.

  5. 25 years on from the original Way too early to judge but does look interesting. Not too sure about some of the futuristic elements but at least it's not too whacky. Defo keep my eye on this

Looks to be a surprise hit! I didn't get the original as it came out off the back of many 3rd person-type games and it seemed a bit generic despite being mechanically solid. The sequel seems to have some notable improvements across the board and looks quite exceptional really. The part-procedurally generated environments also seem impressive and more fleshed out this time and the gunplay along with movement is probably as good as you could get with a game of this nature. Really considering picking it up and the co-op is supposed to be very good also. This also being a £40 game and not a broken and unfinished £60 is making it even more tempting..

  8. So the PS Plus yearly subscriptions are increasing and there has been some grumbling from the gaming community, I am not entirely sure why they are even a thing to be honest at least for the base tiers. In the current climate and with people looking to cut back on costs have you considered moving from one console to the other due to the sub prices (I think Xbox will now have the cheaper base subscription), has anyone just cancelled their subs and stuck to PC gaming for example? Is anyone here bothered by it all? ^_^ The prices going up are hardly surprising but considering the number of people on PS I am fairly sure that it will look good when they report their profits for the next few years.

  13. Summer's coming to an end and I'm thinking of doing a GT7 night. Let me know if anyone's up for it and what night they can't do. Thinking of either a Tuesday or Saturday, though could possibly do Thursday as well. In September that is. If we have at least 4 or 5 of us minimum then it's a goer.

This is gonna be a necessity Having issues with Starfield's FOV? Well you're not alone, but luckily there's already a fix | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Grab the tweaked .ini file now 2023 and Bethesda still can't incorporate a FOV slider in-game jeez! Good job the Creation Engine and configs are so moddable/editable..

  21. Delta Force was one of my first ever games on the PC. Would love it if it became a great game to try out years later. As you say @J4MES OX4D, too early to say but hopefully sticks to what it did previously.

  23. The bit that most people miss with International football is that the best success has come from building squads over time so a process and team identity gets created. I actually think by picking these players he's trying to give himself a better chance at winning the next tourney. When you bring in 6-10 brand new players, thats effectively an overhaul. Put yourself in his shoes and think how hard would it be to get that playing shape and mentality in teh whole squad from their first training camp. he only gets 1-2 games max for a few weeks together and off they go. Football is always made up to be a simple game on the face of it. So many forgot the tiniest details give you the best chance of getting further in tournaments and being successful.

  25. Always the basic package for me as I just need to be online to play with all you lot. It used to be the same years ago when the subscription service started on Xbox to allow online functions. I don't really agree with any subscription service just to play the same game you've bought online but I suppose it pays for maintenance and i expect it up 365 days a year, 24/7. The ps plus monthly games are always an additional bonus, abit like if you get a bonus at work. You hope to get a big one / good game, but you can't guarantee anything happeneing. We've had some incredible games that have lasted a long time via PS Plus so its not all bad. We just live in an era that that we are kind of bound to it now just to play online, so 98% of people will just accept it and move on gaming as per usual. I only still don't touch Gamepass on Microsoft because games come and go off there. When I get a game I want it to be owned and mine whenever i want to play it. Helpful for demos or early access games I would appreciate.

  30. I get that, and you're probably right... However, I don't think they provide enough to justify being picked, again. We need better talent in the squad and build around them instead of using these players just because they almost worked before.

    Baldurs Gate 3

Just a different control scheme. It's probably going to be quite complicated on a controller compared with keyboard and mouse but game-wise should be just as decent as PC.

  32. The PS subscription is money in Sony's pockets for not a lot of effort. People will suck it up as usual. Some will even defend the increase. So, its a no-brainer for Sony. I do have Gamepass with Microsoft as it allows me to play on either console or PC but I take breaks from it. I didn't have Gamepass in June or July but I've started it up again for Starfield. I keep forgetting to cancel my Disney subscription and a month has turned into a year, so cheers, this thread has reminded me of that 😁

  34. Either way. It is what it is. I only played Ground War. That's how I achieved all of my long shots with exception to doing SMG's. I just now started my SMG camo journey and getting some of the launcher medal achievements for using gold or platinum camo. I use to like HC mode but not playing the maps much I don't know them like prior CoDs.

I'd been waiting for a new Armored Core title for the past 10 years, suffering as they kept releasing more Soulslikes 😂 Pleased to say it's a true return to form of the likes of Armored Core 4/for Answer, and good god it's absolutely nails hard at times. Runs exceedingly smoothly on PC, very impressed!

    MW3 Gameplay

The campaign seem to be something were every game feature was inserted and forced you to try it. The car jumping was to prepare for DMZ/Warzone. However it's just a pain in the ass The escape one (which was the worse in my opinion) was for the crafting the came along later in the co-op and DMZ. The Tank at the end was just a Video game boss battle which was mostly irritating The good thing about it is that if you did it, there was a reward for completing every mission which included blueprints and operators. So I ended up completing it

I didn't like the game at first and gave up with it as well. I rent game so sent it back and ended up renting it a bit later and enjoyed it. I don't think it's as good as the 2016 game.

  43. This got a surprised release the other day during QuakeCon. It's free for existing owners and available on all current gen systems for £8. Quake 2 is setting a new gold standard for remasters that's leagues ahead of other "conversions" | GamesRadar+ WWW.GAMESRADAR.COM After a disappointing reveal from Red Dead Redemption, Quake 2 is everything a classic game remaster should be If this was a Rockstar game, it would be the original 1997 port costing £59.99😎

  44. Stick drift seems to be such a personal thing, my PS4 controllers did succumb to it eventually so I got a PS5 bundle with 2 controllers to have a back up. But over 2 years later and I'm still only using 1 controller yet in the same time period some people have gone through multiple controllers. As for scuff, I haven't looked in to them though this more due to having modified my standard controller. I bought the PS4 back buttons when they came out and switching to the PS5 it was tricky playing without them. So I fitted some ExtremeRate back buttons on my OEM controller not long after I got it and they work well enough. Had I not already got a spare controller and spent the time and money modding a controller, I probably would have gone with the Sony pro controller even if the price does make my eyes water.

    GT 7

Start by purchasing Gr.3 and Gr.4 then Gr.2 Most races actually involve BOP balance of performance and and tuning isn't allowed in those races. We do the odd PP tuned race but mostly focus on BOP and Gr.3 is the most used category. To earn money I do the Le Mans 30 minute race which starts at 500k prize money and goes up to around 850k with clean race bonus. Most Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars cost around 300k Good luck on the track 🙂

Multiplayer has been unlocked ^_^ So when you play multiplayer, do you use cars you have gained during the career and tuned or pre-built cars? If it's the former, what PP cars are you guy's using? (So I know what to aim for) I think my best car is only around 5-600 odd
