  1. I've only got a few of mine out at the moment but I would say getting a 3D print for some stands work really nicely, especially with the logo on them. I'm unconvinced at this moment that Cloud Gaming will be the permanent way even though I appreciate it has a large following already. Looking at them just now, the GameBoy Advance SP was a serious piece of kit that is so underrated. So easy to store, games to go with lots of detail in them - and you could link them up too to get some fun parties going.

  2. My son has enjoyed the start of it so far and says its better than the first one. I'll ask him later what bits he's found really enjoyable. I'm not into Star Wars so i'm not going to be playing it anytime soon but it does look good when i've stopped to watch some parts of his playthrough.

  3. Platinums are going well, I already had the Hemlock but finished the Lachman 556 the other night. I then tried the M4 but even with every attachment for range, accuracy and recoil itโ€™s still pretty bad so moved on to the TAQ56 which Iโ€™m at 9/25 so shouldnโ€™t be too long. Last night I managed to Platinum the broadside too. So moved on to the Lockwood 300 which Iโ€™m already up to 8/20 so again should be done soon. But then on to the rubbish shotguns. So 3 down, 2 half-ish way and 46 to go.

  4. I think it's mainly on PC where its having issues. PC ports in general have been pretty bad in recent times.

  5. Looks like the Call of Modern for this year will be releasing on the 10th of November 2023 and will have its own large scale Warzone which will launch in December. The game will be developed by Sledgehammer Games.

  6. Just give me some more DMZ stuff and I'll be happy. I just play MP when new guns come out in order to unlock then I go back in the DMZ. It's an outstanding mode. Unfortunately it does not seem to resonate with this group. The new mid-season is tons of fun. It's really a mini raid. Building 21 and the other 2 maps are great. A lot of people have complained about P2W. The only thing I would say is a true advantage is the 15 minutes weapon cool down with two of the best weapons for the mode.

  7. Strange as I'm still having heaps of fun on the existing MW2 game right now. It would be nice to see this last a little longer but could understand how it may burn out just in time for MW3 at Xmas time.

  8. It's almost certainly to be a follow-on to MW2 based on the official sources gathered over the past 6 months. The only debate is whether it's gonna be a DLC like originally intended, a standalone spin-off, or Modern Warfare 3. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they still haven't decided this yet. I can't see it being presented as DLC or an expansion though because of the state MW2 is currently in. A spin-off could be a nice alternative especially under new developers but it may be seen as a weak move for driving sales. MW3 it may turn out to be if Activision just want to wind up and conclude the trilogy early rather have yet another IW effort released within the next two years. I'm really not holding out much hope but still interested to see what SHG do as they always try their best despite being heavily under-resourced compared to the other studios and having huge personnel turnover. I'm not hyped in the slightest though and if someone said to me you can never play another COD game ever, I would not give a toss.

  11. I believe it is along with even more in-depth survival aspects. Many games these days get berated for using stale, bloated and dated concepts like this but Zelda seems to get a free pass and people see it new and revolutionary when it just isn't. I watched a video on YouTube last night where some dude was passionately explaining how Nintendo were ingenious with BOTW's guided exploration yet all he was explaining was basically Ubisoft radio towers of the 2010 era๐Ÿคฃ

    ROG Ally

The only thing they can't compete with the SteamDeck is with regards track pads. They're essential for quite a few games and work remarkably well. Yeah you can attach a kb & m but then it's no longer a hand held ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  16. So I have put about 20 hours into this now, there are performance dips but I think it bothers me far less than most people it seems. So I will just talk about the game - It looks brilliant, you can see from some of my screenshots it is really pretty and there is an awful lot of detail. The storyline I think is better than the first game, the main story has me wanting to know more, see more and the characters are pretty good, those from the previous game feel more fleshed out and the new characters are decent too. The gameplay feels quite smooth, there have been a few new mechanics added in that I have just unlocked which make the combat a little more fun, the enemies are a bit more varied and some of the lightsaber duels look glorious and just feel right. The worlds, there seems to be some backtracking at the moment, I am hoping there are a couple more that I am yet to discover. That said the one's available to me are a good mix, you sort of have a main one that's all lush and green which feels a bit open world and then you have some others that feel like the first game where they are a little more linear. Each world is broken up into sections and as you move through a section you have some clever little shortcut that opens up between each section so you can move through them quickly. The music and audio, well it's Star wars, it is the one aspect that in every game, tv show or film comes out just right almost everytime and it is the same with this game.

    GT7 April update

The 2 in the screenshot are both 2023 Super Formula cars, just one is Honda and the other Toyota so depends whether you want to count them as 1 or 2 cars. But there's the older Super Formula car (the one used in the S7 licence test at Laguna Seca) and the old 80's F1 car, the F1500T. So 3, or 4, Formula cars unless I've missed some. Maybe cars to try if we can ever get people together for another nice on GT.

  18. Yeah I agree that a product that is dedicated to a task tends to be way better, I still have a camera, I mean the big one is I don't want to drain my phone battery if I go out with the intention to take a few photos. But that said mobile gaming is the biggest element of the gaming industry now and I can't help but feel it is only a matter of time before handhelds as we know it will fade out. There will still be a place for say emulation devices and such but whether or not a Switch will still be around in 40 years time, I am not convinced (especially as cloud gaming does fully take over). I have a lovely handheld collection and plan to put some photos up, that said it probably doesn't go earlier than the gameboys unfortunately.

  19. I've only really had the Gameboy and Gameboy Advanced although I have loosely followed the handheld arena over the decades. It's quite amazing how far these have come even going back several years. Crazy to see Ocarina of Time on the DS for instance. I'd say one of the best would have to be the PSP in terms of games and just the sheer build quality. It's an exceptional piece of kit and I hope the rumours of a new Sony Handheld are true however the tragedy of these now is that they aren't exclusive devices and most can play or stream common AAA games you get on console. Before you used to have device-exclusive games and that was what made them special. Now it's just units you can use while you're in bed or doing a shit.
